Good food coupled with friendly menonite service. A good way to start your weekend - at least for me

I'm glad, because with it being slightly off the 'main drag' in Middletown, we might not have seen it otherwise. We arrived towards the end of the dinner rush hour, and fortunately were seated over by where a musician was playing. It was a busy night, and we were tired and hungry from a day at the faire. As it was busy, there were sportsball games going and the musician playing, shouting was required for discussion and we had some funny misunderstandings YOUR GRAPE IS ON THE MOON? WHAT? Oh, your gravy is a little cool! :) The musician was great, playing lots of 70s and 80s hits, and he seemed to enjoy us singing along and dancing. We are, after all, rennies. We're glad he was enjoying us as much as we were enjoying his music. We got drinks and menus quickly, and our server was attentive without being pushy. After a few minutes looking over the menu, she appeared and we ordered. I got the Stampede Burger, while one of my friends got the Prime Dip sandwich (AKA French Dip), and one got chicken fingers. All came in reasonable time and were quite good, hearty food. So, why the one star off? Dessert. Could we have a brownie sundae? Out of brownies. OK, how about chocolate cake? Out of that, too. Uh...red velvet? Out. Basically everything chocolate. Sigh. Yeah, it was busy but not insane. We ended up not getting dessert, and it was disappointing. Whoever's managing food orders and prep, please do better. Also, if it's not available, it would have been great for the server to say so up front, that way she didn't have to tell us no 3 times. Parking in a private lot, plentiful. We would go again, we just will plan on dessert elsewhere.

The bar was full and most of the tables in the dining area were full. We opted to sit towards the front that has a few booths. Also, the place is a "Seat Yourself" establishment. The customer service was amazing, as both of our waitresses were the sweetest. We ordered Lemon Pepper wings, Jerk Chicken Empanadas, and Tuscan Chicken. We also had these watermelon mocktails the bartender whipped up for us that were sooooo good. Although the food took a long time to come out, it was certainly worth the wait! The wings were cooked and seasoned to perfection. The Tuscan Chicken was good and well portioned also. However, the star of the show was the Jerk Chicken Empanadas! They must have marinated that chicken for at least 1-2 days because the jerk taste was so powerful. Tasted like it was made on the streets of Jamaica. The sauce that comes with it was the perfect pairing as well. The food was so good, I went back the next day with my husband so he could try. They also have DJ's on Fridays and I believe Karaoke on Thursdays. I will for sure be visiting again to try more from their menu.

I came at around 5 PM, and it was beautiful outside, but a little hot in the sun. The hostess was willing to see me in a table around the corner, where there was a nice breeze. We had a great server, who was very attentive to our needs. People enjoyed the various food offerings, including the pasta, which had a kick to it. I ordered the chicken thighs, which is a rare treat to find on a menu. My only disappointment was that they were a bit overcooked and dried out. Perhaps it was the time of day, but who knows. Other than that, I would come back and try another dish someday.

As usual, place was packed with folks and families enjoying all the outdoor games and fire pit....bar was packed with folks watching the Masters. Enjoyed a glass of wine outside while we waited for our table. We had our standard order of guacamole and chips---a must have as they are awesome. Tried their new seasonal jalapeño-bacon and cheese poppers and wow....great new item. Wife had their new quinoa, grilled chicken salad and it was huge. Topped everything off with their s'more brownie Sunday and it didn't disappoint

The place was well designed with an open layout and a huge bar---plenty of TVs to watch the. Various sporting events. Very clean and great service overall. Their guac and chips were great---obviously not poured out of some large can and so two thumbs up there! Tried their chicken fajitas and honestly--more chicken than any other place that does fajitas! The chicken, peppers, and onion came served on a sizzling plate accompanied by a healthy serving of black beans and rice. Almost too much food....but I powered through it because it was that good. Worth a visit!

My graduates decided they wanted Chili's. That worked for us because we all like their food. Our party consisted of 9 people. We waited a reasonable amount of time before we were seated. The place was lively. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Our server had an upbeat demeanor despite the restaurant being super busy. That was a plus. She took our drink and appetizer orders and gave us some options when we wanted to make changes. We also ordered our main entree. Let me tell you the kitchen staff was quick. As we were waiting and talking, our food started coming out. It was fresh and hot. We had no issue with our meals. Everything was good. Nice spot especially when handling large parties.
