a cup of coffee on a table

First time here. I'm a creature of habit when it comes to breakfast so I rarely try anything new. Guess I was showing off today. I had the pumpkin french toast. It was moist and tasty. Paired it with well seasoned sausage and some pumpkin coffee. Made for a good Sunday morning meals. Service was prompt and friendly. Was empty when I walked in but quickly started filling up with the college crowd. Overheard some interesting conversations to say the least..... lol

3 1/2 stars. Sinclair's is an old school restaurant located on Main Street close to the University of Delaware. We ate breakfast there before we explored the school. Service was efficient. I wish the eggs had a bit more flavor but overall it was a good experience.

My fiancé and I like to come here for breakfast while we are in Newark. It's a little hole in the wall that has quick service and good food. This past time we came I got the Eggs Benedict with home fries which was delicious, and my fiancé got the everything omelette and loaded it up! The flavored coffee here is also delicious, she ordered the maple walnut coffee and was head over heels for it! Overall, we always have a good experience here with the friendly owners and waitstaff! We definitely recommend this place!

Best breakfast staple in Newark. I only lived in this town for 8 months but man is Sinclair's the spot for me! Great coffee and great breakfast options. Cinnamon rolls are amazing-must try! I had a normal eggs, meat, pancake combo and it didn't disappoint. Good service for a small spot, only thing I'd say is that it is real small so there can be long waits. Parking on the street can be challenging like anywhere "down town" and they seem to have had limited hours. All in all, If you're a breakfast fan in Newark you have to hit this local spot!

Mango salsa omelet

RJ and I were looking for a place for breakfast after we walked 3 miles at the reservoir. We found a parking spot right in front, and we were seated immediately. Our waitress was super friendly. I ordered the special which was a mango salsa omelet, and I think RJ ordered and ham and cheese omelet. My omelet was a little strange, lots of onions in the salsa, and it was actually inside the omelet. I had pictured more mangoes, and that it would be on top. It was still pretty good, just not what I had expected. I ordered sausage which was square and tasted like it was homemade. we would definitely come back again.

Love it here for Sunday breakfast. You need to change your closing time online to 12:30 if that is when the kitchen closes.

I was dining alone so I was put at the counter which was interesting because I saw the kitchen staff preparing all meals. Con of this was hearing the host argue with a staff member or two! I ordered the mushroom gravy and it came with hash browns. It was extremely flavorful but maybe too rich? Everything was an add on for this. Egg and biscuit were an extra $6. I can tell this place is inventive and takes great care with their food so I see why the prices are so high. Kitchen staff also gets tipped out. Everything was different and good but my biscuit was so so dry which was sad! The scrapple also came out black. Some things I'd hopped were better!

Although loud and packed on a Saturday, we easily found a comfortable table for 3. We each got a coffee - the Shelly Shake & 2 daily special Raspberry Mocha Lattes - delicious!!! All three of us wanted the white bean dish, a new menu item and it was AMAZING. Served with fresh toasted bread and so flavorful. We split the seasonal pancakes and ate it like cake. So glad we didn't skip the pancakes. They have lots of specials, seasonal items, and menu changes but I would trust anything they serve! Highly recommend and plan to return on my next visit.

A nice spicy fancy tomatoes soup with egg. The sour cream cut down on the spice with the nicely toasted bread. Subject: Formal Complaint - Unacceptable Staff Conduct and Management Failure…read more To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally report a deeply troubling experience I had at your Turning Point Restaurant location. What occurred was far below any reasonable standard of customer service and left me feeling unsafe and disrespected. During my visit, a male server verbally accosted me -- using profane language, making threatening remarks, and treating me in a wholly disrespectful manner. This behavior was entirely unprovoked and completely unacceptable in any setting, let alone a dining establishment. What made the situation worse was the response from management. Despite the incident taking place, the manager on duty took no meaningful action to address the situation, offer an apology, or ensure my safety and comfort as a customer. Their inaction sent a clear message that this kind of conduct is tolerated at your restaurant. I am requesting the following: 1. A formal written acknowledgment of this complaint 2. A full investigation into the conduct of the staff member involved 3. Appropriate disciplinary action against both the server and the manager who failed to act 4. A direct response to me outlining the steps taken I sincerely hope Turning Point takes this matter seriously. No customer should ever be subjected to threats or verbal abuse, and no manager should stand by while it happens. I look forward to your prompt response. Sincerely, Kwame
