Cafeneo is awesome! I was meeting a college professor, who recommended this coffee shop, along with two other students. I arrived before anyone else in my party. So, I took it upon myself to check out the menu. The worker at the counter welcomed me and allowed me some time to check out what they offer. She was very kind and pleasant when I informed her that it was my first time visiting. Even though there were a lot of people when I got there around lunchtime, there was somehow still plenty of seating. I opted to order a slice of their Dubai cake and an Iced Caramel Latte. The cake was divine. Every slice that I had was heavenly. My entire party of four was also served in a timely manner. I highly recommend Cafeneo, and I expect to be a returning customer. A great place to study because of their calm and steady ambiance. Plenty of windows and natural lighting. As I mentioned earlier, lots of seating, too. Very pleased. read more

Very welcoming atmosphere, excellent service, and terrific food and drinks. Enjoyed the Aegean Sunrise and Neo Classic as well as an Iced Vanilla Latte and the best darn cappuccino I have ever had. The Bougatsa was amazing. Flaky phyllo filled with custard. At one point, Tony, the owner came over to ask how we enjoyed everything. What a sweetie! Apparently they are now doing dinner as well. We live near Philly and we're on a road trip south but I swear we would go out of our way to come back here to try dinner! read more

Hmmm. I was having a hankering for some good Greek treats and found that this cafe was closest to me. The first thing about this place is that there's plenty of seating and space. That's a plus for a cafe. The staff is extremely kind as well. I ordered a freddo cappuccino and a baklava. The freddo wasn't my favorite - it seemed very watery and didn't have much taste. However the baklava was very, very good. Hoping this was a one off time for the cappuccino. However I will be back for the baklava! read more

College town coffee shop near the university of Delaware. It's a Greek coffee shop featuring a lot of desserts and pastries. We had a late lunch so we opted for ice coffees. The iced coffees were great and the girl working the counter added in cherry cold foam after ordering as I saw the option post ordering. It's gives mom and pop shop vibes - but it's super large with lots of natural light - if I lived in the area I would work here and get some pastries. Super friendly staff! read more

Before driving back to Baltimore after a day in Wilmington, my friend and I stopped for afternoon coffee at Cafeneo. I had a freddo cappuccino, which was great, and my friend had a special - a coffee with a flavored foam from their specials board that day. They also offered some great looking pastries (including some Greek baked goods), which were - sadly - too full and hot to snack on! The service was great, and the coffeeshop was large, bright, and comfortable! Definitely a place that would be great for working or studying - not too loud and very spacious! And they had some great outside seating that I'd have taken advantage of on a less hot day! Overall, a really nice coffeeshop! read more

We were super psyched to try this place. The reviews had everything sounding amazing. We parked in the pay-to-park lot behind the cafe and went in. The cafe is bright, clean, and airy. There were a few people inside focussed on their laptops. We checked out the options on the monitors, but that was a bit hard to do after a while as the screen would flip to a picture so we'd lose whatever it was we were reading. A paper menu solved that issue. We tried a cappuccino, an iced coffee, an apple pie, a spinach pie, and one of the desserts which involved phyllo pastry and custard (didn't know there were two of them on the menu and don't know which one we got). The coffees were both amazing. Five stars all the way. The food... well, the spinach pastry was hard. It was super chewy. And it was salty. The apple pie had a really strong spice in it, we think it was clove, that overpowered everything. And the custard dessert was really sweet. We would not go back to eat any of that again. Probably 2 stars. I hate ruining their 5 star run but really, the food wasn't worth the money. The coffee, however, was outstanding. So we'll share a 4 star review (rather than a 3) and hope we were there on an off-food day or something. read more

This is a great coffee shop. I was warmly welcomed and since it was my first time here, the front desk young lady explained their Christmas drinks, fresh baked goods and gave some of her recommendations. The Greek coffee and espresso was Devine and the process of making it with sand was as icing on the cake. Service was wonderful and the dining area was warm and welcoming. Very clean and beautifully decorated. read more

One of my favorite coffee spots; espresso is always smooth and delicious with syrups that don't overpower them. My favorite place to get bagels, too. And their other bakery treats are on point. It's also a great place to study, make art, etc; quiet music that always sounds good, lots of space to sit, and staff that just want you to have a good time. Highly reccomend. read more

Fabulous experience! Amazing food!!! We wanted to order online after our daughter and friends went there to eat in person and RAVED about the food and ambience. When we had trouble ordering online, we called and Tony said, "Give me a few mins to fix our website POS and I will call you back". He called us back within 5 mins and told us it was fixed and also told us he was out of Moussaka... we didn't even see the DINNER menu. Can't wait to eat their food again!!!! read more

This is one of my favorite spots when I'm looking for a quiet, peaceful place that has everything I need. It's calm enough to sit and read, listen to music, or just enjoy your own thoughts. The outdoor seating is also a great option if you want some fresh air. What I really enjoy is that each time I've visited, the server shares a little history about one of the pastries, which makes the experience even more special. I've only tried two so far--one was a custardy treat wrapped in flaky pastry (absolutely delicious), and the other had nuts (which I love)--and no, it wasn't baklava. I may not remember the names, but I do remember how good they were! read more

Probably one of the underrated coffee shops off of Main Street in Newark. However, it has become one of my regular rotation of morning go-to sips. Plenty of open area seatings for both indoor & out with a nice aesthetic. Paid parking in the rear. Sweet and savory food options. Traditional Greek coffee. Good service. read more

Stopped in on memorial day weekend and this is a diamond in the rough. I had an iced latte and I really enjoyed my drink. This place has a very open concept with plenty of chairs/tables for studying. It was pretty empty but it also was a holiday weekend after UD graduation. The servers were both really sweet and it's very very clean inside. I heard they have some events coming up and new pastries that will be added to the menu shortly. If you're looking for good coffee and something new this is your spot! read more

Amazing authentic experience, I missed my vacation in Greece and their coffee and pastries brought me back. Can't wait to visit again! Tried a bunch of different coffee places as we are avid coffee drinkers. This place was fantastic. The taste and strength of the coffee was fantastic. Usually it's either or, but they nailed both here. Highly recommend the Greek coffee it's as strong as, if not stronger, espresso with a much better taste. We also did standard drip and it was fantastic. Atmosphere was great along with the staff. Very clean and spacious with a good flow that makes you want to stay. read more

I had a medium Greek coffee. If you have never heard of it, the coffee is brewed over hot sand. A medium is not an avg medium. It is more like espresso sized cups. The grounds are left in the cup to concentrate the coffee. It was so good that I was sad when I finished it. Smooth flavor and the smell was absolutely delicious. To eat, I had the Spanikopita and the Galaktoboureko. I needed some sweet and some savory. The spanikopita is one of the best I've had. The phyllo was flaky and crisp. It's served warm, and it was tasty. The Galaktoboureko is a custard type pie, but instead of pie crust, it's phyllo....and I love phyllo! The custard was thick but not super sweet, so delicious, i decided to yake another slice home. I have no pics, unfortunately, because I was so excited to eat I forgot. read more

Location is beautiful, coffee is good, but the food is amazing! Stop in for a sweet treat or lunch, you won't be disappointed.

I love this cafe to study in, I usually get the Greek coffee and sit down to get work done. This place has a few different selections of coffee and plenty of seating inside and out depending on whether you want to get work done, or just catch up with a friend. Lots of natural lighting, which I love when doing my school work. I do not usually have their pastries, but there looks like there's a good variety to chose from. Good, speedy service, no complaints here. read more

The owner replied to my previous rating of this place. I tried their Greek coffee and it was good but still something was missing. Instead of trying to force others to like your place, try to improve your establishment and coffee quality. Idk why your coffee beans just don't have good taste. Brew Haha, Starbucks, even Dunkin is better than your place. What's up with your milk quality and foam making too?! Such bad taste. Your place is amazing looking only. Not tasty. Also, you sound condescending trying to look like you are doing others great service giving your input despite getting shitty reviews. And blaming it on your customer?! Get a grip of your self, what a shame at your shitty personality and business marketing skills. And charging others to buy and not providing FREE WIFI like ANY other coffee shops all OVER THE WORLD. read more

Friendly and informative staff. Light airy and clean atmosphere. Excellent coffee and mouthwatering baklava. I'll be going back for more.

Wonderful little pastries, both savory and sweet. I don't drink coffee, but I hear it's good.

The staff was super nice and friendly. I got a greek coffee which was amazing. Will definitely be going back!

Delish food & coffee and the best staff!! Cafe Neo keeps me afloat at school and is the best place to study and get work done.

This new Greek cafe has a lovely ambiance and delicious drinks and pastries! It's the perfect place to read or work for a few hours. As a parent of a dancer at Delaware Dance Company, I can easily walk over to Cafe Neo, grab a drink, and read my book while my kiddo is in class. Their fall menu seems legit. I had an iced apple chai-der, which wasn't too sweet and tastes like autumn in a cup. Check it out! read more
