The ambiance is great. There are nooks and crannies all over the property, inside and out, sunny it shady, in which to relax and eat. The item I ordered came as a sandwich or salad. I ordered it as a Turkey bowl salad with a gluten free scone and cofe au lait. Instead they made me a sandwich. They forgot the scone. When I finally got the salad it was great. The blueberry scone was okay. It was more cake like than biscuity and pretty light on the blueberries. The coffee was nice and hot. Because there's no waitress service I had to repeatedly get up from my seat to check on my order before and after they bungled it. If I'd wanted I could have stood there to wait but there's no place to SIT and wait and to see if your order is ready. In conclusion: the turkey bowl was good but it's just deli meat. The rest of the salad was what was really good. I I think people come here for the ambiance because $14.50 for a salad made with deli meat was not special. My friend ordered a cinnamon bun which she said was "okay." She prefers the grilled sticky buns at Hank's. read more

Sandwiches and bagels and food in general is amazing. Lots of variety of coffee and drinks form Smoothies, lattes, cold brews, all were great quality. Really nice coffee shop with an additional space outside and at another annex building to sit, gives a rustic feel, and you could bring small groups or just come by yourself, grab a bite, there's a yoga joint and a little gallery shop. Lounge around, enjoy the weather and would come back again read more

Cute little gem in Chadds Ford we stumbled on while visiting my mother in law. I had a scone and coffee the first time, which both were great. We liked it enough we stopped by on our way back to Montclair for breakfast. Since I'll be visiting my mother in law occasionally, OsoSweet will certainly be a stop. Touchdown!!! read more

The cutest coffee shop! A must visit!! The coffee, food, and service were phenomenal. I'm love with the Barn Shoppes of Chadds Ford. They have the sweetest ambiance with outside seating and games around the area, it's perfect. read more

So cute. Stopped by this bakery on the way to Longwood gardens. Def recommend. I got a regular drip coffee and you can tell they use freshly roasted beans. The best drip coffee I've had all year. Everyone else enjoyed the scones and smoothies. There is plenty of unique seating options inside and outside the bakery. Make sure to stop by if you are in the area and then walk around the property to see all the nicknacks. read more

I'm picky with baked goods... their scones are the best I've ever had and come in a fun variety of seasonal flavors. The breakfast sandwiches are also absolutely delicious! The funky chic ambiance is precious. Lots of seating outside in warmer weather and cozy indoor spaces in the winter. Don't miss out on this gem! Highly recommend! read more

Having now been to OsoSweet a handful of times, I can say this is probably my favorite cafe in Delco, and not just because of the amazing baked goods and high quality coffees, but also because of the location. It is a wonderful place to come, sit, reflect, relax, or simply drink some coffee; beautiful in every season and inviting no matter the weather outside. It honestly feels like the home you've never had but always wanted, with hobbit hole vibes of coziness and an overwhelming sense of invitation. On top of that, everyone greets you with a smile and has something interesting or exciting to tell you and you can tell that everyone involved in this beautiful place genuinely relishes in their work and is happy to be there, which is something that is hard to find these days. Their beverages are always made by hand, with all of the care put into coffees, espresso, and teas, as well as all the other creations they have imagined, as each is a work of art, with their own unique twist on each. Make sure to try something featuring their own OsoSpice if you are a fan of autumn or the feeling or scent of the forest. However, what has routinely blown me away, time after time, is the masterminds that are working their magic in the bakery. The constantly rotating things they have in their window are magical, conjuring excitement and feelings you never knew you had before about baked goods! These things also rotate with the seasons, but there is a set of staples that are always on the menu, including my favorite, the chorizo manchego scone; never dry, never crumbly. Perfectly crafted, it blows me away each time, and I am sure to order one even if I'm simply taking it home for days later. What makes this place so special is the combination of people, place, love of craft, and sense of inclusion and home. It's amazing how when these things are combined how something as simple as a cafe can feel like such a strong and amazing force in your life when it's really just a spot you stop at for coffee and a scone. We need more places like this, and more people in them, smiling, and striving to make everyone feel as fulfilled as those as OsoSweet do. Sharing their energy and creativity with the rest of us, I will be coming here whenever I can for as long as they are here. I hope they never leave, and you should too, get here now, because it's never too early to have great coffee, great food, and be happy. read more

The coffee and drinks are outstanding here. I'm so grateful I live close to this gem. They have the best pastry chef / owner here too. They took a landmark Chadds Ford location, and made a quaint little nook for locals to sit and enjoy a quick bite. In the summer they make pizza on Friday night and have live music. read more

WOW WOW WOW!!! I have never seen art like this on an edible item. OSO BAKERY -totally created something far more spectacular than what I had requested. The icing and the cake was absolutely divine! We also had some gluten-free cupcakes for those friends of ours. And I was told by everyone of them they've never had such a delicious GF cupcake in their life. Thank you for making my best friends 60th birthday so beautiful and delicious.! read more

Darling little spot off the Baltimore Pike! Tried a cocoa and a chagaccino (mocha with mushrooms - not THAT kind of mushroom;-)) and both were delicious. Also had a classic scone and two different chocolate cookies. Staff were friendly, patient, and so helpful. Relaxed vibes, lots of seating, dog friendly outdoors, games, cozy and very comfy. We have been to Oso Sweet on several occasions dropped in for coffee and a scone, breakfast, and last night we went for their pizza night. We have been very happy with all of our experiences. They have a great relaxed and comfortable environment, with a lot of outside seating in a garden environment and the inside while small has a very cozy feel. The baked goods are amazing, over time we have tried all their cookies and cones and they are some of the best we have had. But their flagship breakfast item is the beacon egg and cheese sandwich on a croissant. The croissant is amazing and the sauce on the sandwich is the perfect add. Best breakfast sandwich we have ever had. Then on some Fridays they have a pizza night with live music. The pizza was fantastic. They have a wood fired oven and the pizza came out much faster than we expected. We ordered a buffalo chicken and meat lovers pizza. The meat lovers was amazing but we really liked the buffalo chicken. It is a white pizza with Buffalo Chicken and hot peppers that had a good bite. The staff is all very friendly and the service is very quick. We really enjoyed Oso Sweet and are looking forward to going back. read more

I'm a big fan of this place and think they have excellent coffee and pastries. Everything I have tried has been delicious. They also make great breakfast sandwiches. I do wish they would change up their menu a little bit more since I love the different flavor profiles, but would be game to try more things. read more

Adorable hidden coffee shop. Really really cute surroundings, tucked into a barn like building with cozy seats and definitely a small business feel. Cashier was patient and kind, offered helpful suggestions. Also able to make things not on the menu, like a jasmine lemonade. Got a lemon blueberry scone. Very light and fluffy, delicious. read more

Cute place to meet a friend and enjoy specialty coffee drinks and delicious, freshly baked scones! Outdoor seating available.

We went there on Friday as this is pizza night. There were 4 of us. Nice outdoor setting for the most part but there is indoor dining. We ordered two different pizzas. They were outstanding. Everyone there is very friendly. We liked the idea that it is also BYOB. After the pizza, I got to sample one of their chocolate chip cookies and I believe a cinnamon flavored cake. Delicious. I highly recommend Oso Sweet, especially on a Friday evening. read more

Every time I come here the staff is extremely rude. But this last time took the cake and we will NEVER return here. My son was playing with some skeleton they had hanging on the wall (during Xmas season). The whole thing fell off the wall onto him, hitting him in the head and falling to the ground. The woman working there stormed over and in an extremely rude, passive aggressive tone said "you could have at least told me that he broke the skeleton into pieces" - not asking if he was ok that their crappy decoration fell on him. There are a few other negatives stated below: 1. They don't write out daily specials, so you have to wait until you're at the font of the line to ask and then scramble to decide what you want without holding everyone up. 2. When ordering, they give you a number for your food but then never bring you the food. Last time I was there - I was waiting for a long time, went in, my food was on the counter. No one let me know, nothing. Probably sitting there for 10 minutes. 3. The espresso drinks at Chadds ford coffee are superior to OSO and they have larger options. Oso is an overall bad vibe, mainly bc of the employees. I'm surprised to see so many positive reviews. read more

We had a wonderful experience working with Tess and OsoSweet Bakery! My friend and I ran the Tough Mudder held a few miles away, and thought it would be fun to celebrate our success with a sweet treat. We ordered 6 custom cupcakes (and two scones, because who doesn't love a scone?!) and got a prompt and lovely response from Tess - she even made two different frosting flavors for us since we couldn't choose On the day we were due to pick up our order, we were running late and Tess assured us we could come after closing to grab our sweets. Come to find that in addition to the TM decoration we'd asked for, she also decorated some of our cupcakes with the TM logo to differentiate between the frosting flavors. And the scones are huge! Everything was delicious and the perfect way to end our race. Plus the shop is ADORABLE! We were sad we didn't have more time to visit and hang out there! Thank you again, Tess! read more

We ordered 60 custom icing cupcakes for a graduation party. I got quotes from many places, and OsoSweet had the most reasonable price. Everyone loved the cupcakes because the cake was not dry at all and the icing wasn't too sweet. This is my new go-to place for cupcakes and cakes. read more

Limited menu but the scones are truly the best I've ever had. Most of the seating is outside.

Service: very friendly. Food & drink: outstanding! My goat cheese & mushroom quiche (ask for flavors) was very flavorful, my iced oat milk latte is strong - just as I like it. I purchased a honey lavender scone -- supposedly for later, but it's calling my name now. The scone selection was impressive this morning--at least 8 or 10 various flavors, although by size they are enormous and good for sharing. This great spot is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area! read more

Adorable small business that we love to support when in town! This cafe has beautifully crafted food and drinks- genuinely the best iced latte I've ever had. Even better, their indoor / outdoor seating is very charming; I really enjoy having my coffee in what feels like a real life fairy garden. If you're staying at The Brandywine River Hotel, this is a must in the morning, afternoon, and even in the evening with music. read more

Stopped in just to check the place out and had some decent treats while we were there. We picked up 2 of their scones and the apple butter coffee. We had mixed reviews between us on the coffee, I wasn't super impressed but thought it was okay, my girlfriend thought it was pretty good. Between the scones we had a flavored one and a plain one with strawberry preserves. The plain one wasn't anything special, but I would certainly get it again, and the preserves comes in a cute little glass jar that you can wash and reuse for other purposes. The flavored scone I can't remember the flavor we got but it was awesome! It helped that it was still warm from the oven, but the flavors were all on point. Definitely a recommended stop if you need to scratch that itch for coffee and scones. It's also worth mentioning the atmosphere was very pleasant! It felt really comforting sitting in the front area, and if I lived closer to it I would consider stopping in just to lounge there for a bit. read more

Was staying in the hotel right up the stairs from the bakery and was in search of breakfast. This place did not disappoint. I had the classic scone and it was perfect - not too sweet, crisp edges, soft and crumbly insides. Yum. I also had a mushroom empanada which super tasty and delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly and kind and the interior is super cozy and warm. Loved it so much I brought my family there for breakfast when the woke up. The location is the cutest thing! It's a little barn of stores and this one is the one we came for. They are a bakery and coffee shop. They also sell pastries and snacks. The gentlemen working were very kind and knowledgeable. The menu is short and sweet. we got the peanut butter latte, a salted caramel latte, and a toffee scone. The lattes were made very well. But the show stopper was the scone. It was the most perfectly made scone. 1 I love toffee. 2 it was crispy on the edges and tender and delicate in the middle. They had 7 flavors when we arrived but in the 30 minutes we sat there he ran out of a couple. The baker was busy baking more. Everything was fresh and looked amazing. Very pleased with our choice to stop. read more

Fantastic gem of a bakery hidden off the beaten path in Chadds Ford. I ordered an espresso (fabuloso!) and split a scone that had bacon as one of the ingredients. Heaven. Truly heaven on earth, this scone!! And all the other scones looked just as delightful. The decor is pure antique delight and I thoroughly enjoyed exploring it. I ordered empanadas to go and they were extremely tasty - especially the spinach and feta. This is a place I will certainly be revisiting to explore more of the delectable delights offered! read more

I found this charming little cafe by accident one day. It's an absolute treasure! They make amazing espresso which is a MUST for me, but they also make a creative variety of baked goods with gluten free options too. The owner works behind the counter and the whole staff is friendly and enthusiastic. It's the perfect atmosphere for studying or relaxing after a long morning in nearby art galleries and antique shops. I like to pop in on my way to and from work for the essential espresso and some sweet treats. most amazing baked goods, drinks, and atmosphere - so cozy and friendly. Local music events are also a great time.

I found this place on Yelp and have been looking for a new regular coffee place. It is a super cute little storefront and the staff were very nice. I'm not sure if it was a bad batch of coffee and espresso, but both drinks we ordered had a very bitter (raspberry like) after taste. It was difficult to finish them they were so bitter, even though we both had gotten flavorings added. I would maybe try again considering all the positive reviews, but there are other local coffee shops that are consistently great coffee. read more

We stopped by today on the recommendation of a friend, and I can't wait to go back. It's a cute little bakery with whimsical/romantic seating areas. The team working there were happy to chat and told us about all of the delights in the case. It was a hard choice. They put a small amount out but keep bringing more fresh items to the counter. We had a fresh, hot croissant, a chocolate croissant, 2 lemon pudding cookies and cappuccino. Everything was wonderful. Croissants were flakey, the cookies had lots of lemon flavor, and cappuccino was well-made. Definitely stop by when you are driving down route 1. You won't regret it read more
