Having now been to OsoSweet a handful of times, I can say this is probably my favorite cafe in Delco, and not just because of the amazing baked goods and high quality coffees, but also because of the location. It is a wonderful place to come, sit, reflect, relax, or simply drink some coffee; beautiful in every season and inviting no matter the weather outside. It honestly feels like the home you've never had but always wanted, with hobbit hole vibes of coziness and an overwhelming sense of invitation. On top of that, everyone greets you with a smile and has something interesting or exciting to tell you and you can tell that everyone involved in this beautiful place genuinely relishes in their work and is happy to be there, which is something that is hard to find these days. Their beverages are always made by hand, with all of the care put into coffees, espresso, and teas, as well as all the other creations they have imagined, as each is a work of art, with their own unique twist on each. Make sure to try something featuring their own OsoSpice if you are a fan of autumn or the feeling or scent of the forest. However, what has routinely blown me away, time after time, is the masterminds that are working their magic in the bakery. The constantly rotating things they have in their window are magical, conjuring excitement and feelings you never knew you had before about baked goods! These things also rotate with the seasons, but there is a set of staples that are always on the menu, including my favorite, the chorizo manchego scone; never dry, never crumbly. Perfectly crafted, it blows me away each time, and I am sure to order one even if I'm simply taking it home for days later. What makes this place so special is the combination of people, place, love of craft, and sense of inclusion and home. It's amazing how when these things are combined how something as simple as a cafe can feel like such a strong and amazing force in your life when it's really just a spot you stop at for coffee and a scone. We need more places like this, and more people in them, smiling, and striving to make everyone feel as fulfilled as those as OsoSweet do. Sharing their energy and creativity with the rest of us, I will be coming here whenever I can for as long as they are here. We have been to Oso Sweet on several occasions dropped in for coffee and a scone, breakfast, and last night we went for their pizza night. We have been very happy with all of our experiences. They have a great relaxed and comfortable environment, with a lot of outside seating in a garden environment and the inside while small has a very cozy feel. The baked goods are amazing, over time we have tried all their cookies and cones and they are some of the best we have had. But their flagship breakfast item is the beacon egg and cheese sandwich on a croissant. The croissant is amazing and the sauce on the sandwich is the perfect add. Best breakfast sandwich we have ever had. Then on some Fridays they have a pizza night with live music. The pizza was fantastic. They have a wood fired oven and the pizza came out much faster than we expected. We ordered a buffalo chicken and meat lovers pizza. The meat lovers was amazing but we really liked the buffalo chicken. It is a white pizza with Buffalo Chicken and hot peppers that had a good bite. The staff is all very friendly and the service is very quick. We really enjoyed Oso Sweet and are looking forward to going back. read more

We went there on Friday as this is pizza night. There were 4 of us. Nice outdoor setting for the most part but there is indoor dining. We ordered two different pizzas. They were outstanding. Everyone there is very friendly. We liked the idea that it is also BYOB. After the pizza, I got to sample one of their chocolate chip cookies and I believe a cinnamon flavored cake. Delicious. Every time I come here the staff is extremely rude. But this last time took the cake and we will NEVER return here. My son was playing with some skeleton they had hanging on the wall (during Xmas season). The whole thing fell off the wall onto him, hitting him in the head and falling to the ground. The woman working there stormed over and in an extremely rude, passive aggressive tone said "you could have at least told me that he broke the skeleton into pieces" - not asking if he was ok that their crappy decoration fell on him. There are a few other negatives stated below: 1. They don't write out daily specials, so you have to wait until you're at the font of the line to ask and then scramble to decide what you want without holding everyone up. 2. When ordering, they give you a number for your food but then never bring you the food. Last time I was there - I was waiting for a long time, went in, my food was on the counter. No one let me know, nothing. Probably sitting there for 10 minutes. 3. The espresso drinks at Chadds ford coffee are superior to OSO and they have larger options. Oso is an overall bad vibe, mainly bc of the employees. I'm surprised to see so many positive reviews. read more

We had a wonderful experience working with Tess and OsoSweet Bakery! My friend and I ran the Tough Mudder held a few miles away, and thought it would be fun to celebrate our success with a sweet treat. We ordered 6 custom cupcakes (and two scones, because who doesn't love a scone?!) and got a prompt and lovely response from Tess - she even made two different frosting flavors for us since we couldn't choose On the day we were due to pick up our order, we were running late and Tess assured us we could come after closing to grab our sweets. Come to find that in addition to the TM decoration we'd asked for, she also decorated some of our cupcakes with the TM logo to differentiate between the frosting flavors. And the scones are huge! Stopped in just to check the place out and had some decent treats while we were there. We picked up 2 of their scones and the apple butter coffee. We had mixed reviews between us on the coffee, I wasn't super impressed but thought it was okay, my girlfriend thought it was pretty good. Between the scones we had a flavored one and a plain one with strawberry preserves. The plain one wasn't anything special, but I would certainly get it again, and the preserves comes in a cute little glass jar that you can wash and reuse for other purposes. The flavored scone I can't remember the flavor we got but it was awesome! It helped that it was still warm from the oven, but the flavors were all on point. Definitely a recommended stop if you need to scratch that itch for coffee and scones. It's also worth mentioning the atmosphere was very pleasant! Was staying in the hotel right up the stairs from the bakery and was in search of breakfast. This place did not disappoint. The location is the cutest thing! It's a little barn of stores and this one is the one we came for. They are a bakery and coffee shop. They also sell pastries and snacks. The gentlemen working were very kind and knowledgeable. The menu is short and sweet. we got the peanut butter latte, a salted caramel latte, and a toffee scone. The lattes were made very well. But the show stopper was the scone. It was the most perfectly made scone. 1 I love toffee. 2 it was crispy on the edges and tender and delicate in the middle. They had 7 flavors when we arrived but in the 30 minutes we sat there he ran out of a couple. The baker was busy baking more. Everything was fresh and looked amazing. Fantastic gem of a bakery hidden off the beaten path in Chadds Ford. I ordered an espresso (fabuloso!) and split a scone that had bacon as one of the ingredients. Heaven. Truly heaven on earth, this scone!! And all the other scones looked just as delightful. The decor is pure antique delight and I thoroughly enjoyed exploring it. I ordered empanadas to go and they were extremely tasty - especially the spinach and feta. I found this place on Yelp and have been looking for a new regular coffee place. It is a super cute little storefront and the staff were very nice. I'm not sure if it was a bad batch of coffee and espresso, but both drinks we ordered had a very bitter (raspberry like) after taste. It was difficult to finish them they were so bitter, even though we both had gotten flavorings added. I would maybe try again considering all the positive reviews, but there are other local coffee shops that are consistently great coffee. read more

I live only two miles from this little gem and I didn't know it was there until our friends invited us to join them for a Friday night outing! I think it's typically a sweets and coffee cafe and bakery, but last night and every Friday in the summer, it's an outdoor oasis of fun! They had a guy playing good music and a white mushroom pizza that was Deelish! My husband really enjoyed the pepperoni pizza too! It was a BYOB and we had a great time! We went inside the bakery which is a really cute space and talked with the young, very talented baker and owner. We left with delicious scones to enjoy over coffee in the morning.
