So cute. Stopped by this bakery on the way to Longwood gardens. Def recommend. I got a regular drip coffee and you can tell they use freshly roasted beans. The best drip coffee I've had all year. Everyone else enjoyed the scones and smoothies. There is plenty of unique seating options inside and outside the bakery. Make sure to stop by if you are in the area and then walk around the property to see all the nicknacks.

Having now been to OsoSweet a handful of times, I can say this is probably my favorite cafe in Delco, and not just because of the amazing baked goods and high quality coffees, but also because of the location. It is a wonderful place to come, sit, reflect, relax, or simply drink some coffee; beautiful in every season and inviting no matter the weather outside. It honestly feels like the home you've never had but always wanted, with hobbit hole vibes of coziness and an overwhelming sense of invitation. On top of that, everyone greets you with a smile and has something interesting or exciting to tell you and you can tell that everyone involved in this beautiful place genuinely relishes in their work and is happy to be there, which is something that is hard to find these days. Their beverages are always made by hand, with all of the care put into coffees, espresso, and teas, as well as all the other creations they have imagined, as each is a work of art, with their own unique twist on each. Make sure to try something featuring their own OsoSpice if you are a fan of autumn or the feeling or scent of the forest. However, what has routinely blown me away, time after time, is the masterminds that are working their magic in the bakery. The constantly rotating things they have in their window are magical, conjuring excitement and feelings you never knew you had before about baked goods! These things also rotate with the seasons, but there is a set of staples that are always on the menu, including my favorite, the chorizo manchego scone; never dry, never crumbly. Perfectly crafted, it blows me away each time, and I am sure to order one even if I'm simply taking it home for days later. What makes this place so special is the combination of people, place, love of craft, and sense of inclusion and home. It's amazing how when these things are combined how something as simple as a cafe can feel like such a strong and amazing force in your life when it's really just a spot you stop at for coffee and a scone. We need more places like this, and more people in them, smiling, and striving to make everyone feel as fulfilled as those as OsoSweet do. Sharing their energy and creativity with the rest of us, I will be coming here whenever I can for as long as they are here. I hope they never leave, and you should too, get here now, because it's never too early to have great coffee, great food, and be happy.

Delicious and artfully decorated cake and GF cup cakes

WOW WOW WOW!!! I have never seen art like this on an edible item. OSO BAKERY -totally created something far more spectacular than what I had requested. The icing and the cake was absolutely divine! We also had some gluten-free cupcakes for those friends of ours. And I was told by everyone of them they've never had such a delicious GF cupcake in their life. Thank you for making my best friends 60th birthday so beautiful and delicious.!

Darling little spot off the Baltimore Pike! Tried a cocoa and a chagaccino (mocha with mushrooms - not THAT kind of mushroom;-)) and both were delicious. Also had a classic scone and two different chocolate cookies. Staff were friendly, patient, and so helpful. Relaxed vibes, lots of seating, dog friendly outdoors, games, cozy and very comfy. Highly recommend!

Adorable hidden coffee shop. Really really cute surroundings, tucked into a barn like building with cozy seats and definitely a small business feel. Cashier was patient and kind, offered helpful suggestions. Also able to make things not on the menu, like a jasmine lemonade. Got a lemon blueberry scone. Very light and fluffy, delicious.

Custom made cupcakes for a Tough Mudder race

We had a wonderful experience working with Tess and OsoSweet Bakery! My friend and I ran the Tough Mudder held a few miles away, and thought it would be fun to celebrate our success with a sweet treat. We ordered 6 custom cupcakes (and two scones, because who doesn't love a scone?!) and got a prompt and lovely response from Tess - she even made two different frosting flavors for us since we couldn't choose On the day we were due to pick up our order, we were running late and Tess assured us we could come after closing to grab our sweets. Come to find that in addition to the TM decoration we'd asked for, she also decorated some of our cupcakes with the TM logo to differentiate between the frosting flavors. And the scones are huge! Everything was delicious and the perfect way to end our race. Plus the shop is ADORABLE! We were sad we didn't have more time to visit and hang out there! Thank you again, Tess!

Stopped in just to check the place out and had some decent treats while we were there. We picked up 2 of their scones and the apple butter coffee. We had mixed reviews between us on the coffee, I wasn't super impressed but thought it was okay, my girlfriend thought it was pretty good. Between the scones we had a flavored one and a plain one with strawberry preserves. The plain one wasn't anything special, but I would certainly get it again, and the preserves comes in a cute little glass jar that you can wash and reuse for other purposes. The flavored scone I can't remember the flavor we got but it was awesome! It helped that it was still warm from the oven, but the flavors were all on point. Definitely a recommended stop if you need to scratch that itch for coffee and scones. It's also worth mentioning the atmosphere was very pleasant! It felt really comforting sitting in the front area, and if I lived closer to it I would consider stopping in just to lounge there for a bit.

Limited menu but the scones are truly the best I've ever had. Most of the seating is outside.

So yea I was excited to see the cupcake food truck at a local food festival. I ordered the cookies and cream and lemon blueberry cupcake. Just when I tried the cupcake, I was pleasantly surprised that both cupcakes were filled, however the cake itself was bland, the icing was also bland and the blueberry filling tasted like something out of a can. Oh and the cookies and cream cupcake was filled with an oreo cookie but that did not save the taste of the cupcake by no means. Ugh it's really difficult for me to give such an honest review because the lady was very friendly and she's is a small business owner which I support, however I will say that with a little tweaking of the recipe, it may give the beautiful and creative cupcakes some hope!

I reached out to Kendra by phone (we were both driving). We had a quick chat, then exchanged texts that evening. A few back and forth the following day and then OMG! It took me over 20 minutes to find the actual "shop". And that was after going into another shop…read moreand asking to be pointed in the right direction. The 'shop' was not what I was expecting...in the least. They should have had a back up plan for winter months if that is what in fact this shop is for. We walked in to a "counter" with an enclosed medium size plastic case of cupcakes. We were waited on by a nice gal that went into the back (behind a curtain) and frosted the cupcakes we ordered. It was a strange experience being in a room that looked like someone just pulled some furniture out of their apartment and arranged it in this space. We ordered the Peanut Butter Cupcake, Carrot Cake and Brown Sugar. Peanut Butter Cupcake - it was to have a large dollop of peanut butter frosting in it along with a chocolate frosting. The dollop in the center tasted like a tablespoon of thick peanut butter and was chewy and gummy...nothing like peanut butter should taste like, if that is what it actually was. The chocolate cupcake tasted "off". It had a raw flour taste. The frosting was nothing exciting. Carrot Cupcake - Raisins and Carrots don't make up a carrot cake. And that is what this was. A spice cake (or should I call it a nutmeg cake, since that was the overpowering spice I tasted throughout) The raisins were not lightly tossed in flour to make certain they didn't sink right to the bottom and remain in clumps of 3-4 raisins. (any baker, especially someone that owns a cupcake business, should be aware of this). The cream cheese frosting was overpowering and I could feel the sugar between my teeth (kinda like sand). It tasted like sugar and some butter. No cream cheese taste what so ever. Brown Sugar Cupcake - Was OK...if I wasn't told beforehand that it was a brown sugar cupcake, I would have never known. It was a plain jane yellow cupcake with forgettable frosting. If you are going into the cupcake business and wish to be known for these little mouthfuls of yumminess...make them so. Put more thought and effort into making your cupcakes the best in the area. Although I realize this review might come as a surprise to some, it was my honest opinion of this business.

The workers were less than friendly, and a few of my family members noted that they seemed like they would rather be anywhere else. I wasn't expecting a song and dance, but I was expecting a friendly atmosphere. The cupcakes were good, but not the best I've had. They overcharged me for mileage and then were obstinate when I approached them about a refund (or even a comprimise!). This turned out to be the last family gathering we had before my Grandmother passed, and I'm sad to say it was marred by a less-than-stellar experience with the cupcake truck.
