Adorable place! I got the Thai tea and added tapioca pearls which was really good. Also picked up 3 mini cake boxes and some mango mochi which was delicious. We really enjoyed trying out the new Overbaked cafe in Newark. It was a cool mix between a coffee shop and a bakery/pastry shop. It was brand new and clean and filled with tons of seating which was nice. The coffee options were pretty nice as well. We got the iced Oreo and Mint Lattes and really enjoyed them. You can see from the pictures how they were layered and that added a bit of aesthetic and care along with the great taste. First time in Delaware and I'm glad we came to this dessert cafe! They got a good selection of desserts and drinks. We got the ube crepe cake and the blueberry fresh cream chocolate cake. Both cake were great, especially the crepe cake. We came here around 3:30pm and it was quite busy with a few occupied tables. The interior is bright and cozy. It's also a REALLY good Asian bakery with some very original little layered box cakes and other gorgeously presented desserts. Not your typical place to get a cookie and a cup of regular coffee. It's hard to get (relatively) affordable tiramisu. In a pinch, their tiramisu box is so good. Their egg tartes are not overly sweet or eggy, and the staff are super kind. This isn't trying to be a biased review, but whoever their PR person is, they follow the accounts of the patrons that follow them on instagram and I think that helps add a homey, local feel. read more

My husband wanted to cheer me up one day after having a pretty emotional and hard week. It worked! The desserts are absolutely delicious! I can't remember the name of the desserts exactly...it was a chocolate mousse cake and carrot cake I believe! Sooooo good! And I have never been a big cake person! Usually just one slice and done!
