Love the florals in this shop making the decor always feel seasonally intentional. Lattes are always great! Service is consistently quick despite this location always being busy. The biscuits are amazing but always sell out quickly. Bagels are also great!

The Saturday crew (11/22) hooked us up with a bunch of expresso shots and, to make the drinks perfect.... Hooked us up with a tiny cup of beans! Thanks Ladies! The drinks turned out perfect! Your staff made me feel welcomed and not rushed! It's the little things that make service memorable and your staff hit the perfect mark! Happy Holidays!

This feels more like a coffee shop should be. While it is a chain it does not feel institutional like the big boys. In fact there was music at this venue. It also had a very homey personalized decor and they coffee was good. Quick service. I left happily caffeinated.

Easy online order process and great place to work or meet a friend. The egg, cheese, and bacon toasted bagel was perfect. My almond latte was creamy and delicious.

Came in on a rainy Sunday at 10am and it was packed. There was a duo performing in the back area which brought a great vibe, but it seems most people were there for coffee and breakfast. There are tons of espresso options but no explanation of them anywhere, and when I asked the person at the register what the differences were they pointed at the cups and mumbled something about the amount of milk. When I specifically asked what a cubano was they acted like they couldn't hear me so I skipped asking and got a cappuccino. The barista is talking to someone who seems to be an off-duty employee while making drinks. The barista is sharing how they're the only person on. The two then talk and joke while the drink creation slows. I finally get my drink and sit down. Looking up now I see the off-duty employee is now talking to another person behind the counter. Some socializing at work is necessary and maybe this place never slows down so this is how it has to be done, but it's not great to see the production slow when there's so many people waiting for their orders. The cappuccino was awesome. The cinnamon scone was ok. The music is a lucky win. I want to give this place 5 stars but just can't. Maybe another day. *Edit: I ordered another cappuccino while here. It came out in a totally different size cup and was filled to the brim. It's not as good as the previous drink. Bummed.

Stopped by this spot craving a good latte and ended up getting an iced German mocha with oat milk! This drink really satisfied my craving and I enjoyed it. As a former barista, I have a great interest in trying unique flavors, and this drink really inspired my creativity towards mochas. I look forward to retrying this drink in whatever way I can. I also had the sparkling grapefruit mash grapefruit citrus zing. It was a tasteful sparkling beverage that had just enough sweetness to balance the sourness very refreshing. The place has a modern rustic and comfortable vibe with a friendly staff! I would love studying here, lots of space and comfort.

10 out of 10 highly recommend leave Starbucks and Dunkin alone! The atmosphere is wonderful too if you want to sit in a coffee shop and get some work done.

I am really glad I made a video because it reminded me how much I liked this sandwich. I got the Rest Stop Breakfast Sandwich. It had a ton of flavor and a hash brown. 2 of my favorite things. Brew Ha Ha and the Rest Stop Breakfast Sandwich have made me want to be a better person i.e. someone that sips coffee, eats good food and chats politely. Thank you Brew Ha Ha!! Weellll, we'll see if I can chat politely.

    obvious cobwebs in the bathrooms

We decided to stop back in here, just for the hell of it. While the new staff seems slightly nicer, and their drinks seem better made than some of the other BrewHaHas, the place is still filthy. Dust, crumbs, and stains everywhere. The bathrooms are a mess, and there are large, obvious cobwebs hanging from the bathroom ceiling. (see the attached photos) What is this? Halloween? Clean your bathrooms!

This may be the headquarters of Brandywine Coffee Roasters (part of the same business as Brew HaHa…read morecoffee) but they do not sell a wide range of Brandywine Coffee and the coffee that they serve in the cafe is under the label BrewHaHa. The coffee was fine, staff was friendly, and the space was very comfortable with plenty of seating and tables. As a roaster, Brandywine is amazing. I have ordered their beans many times for me pretty much all home brewing methods (hario, kalita, immersion, batch, and espresso). I am always impressed by the quality of their coffee, their wide range of offerings, and their artwork. But, if you are hoping to visit one of the best roasters in the country and try a variety of different coffees, this is not the place for you. No pour overs, and the espresso and drip coffee were only so-so. Beats Starbucks, Dunkin, and a lot of other coffee shops, but not a worthwhile detour/destination. The 4 stars is for the cafe experience. As a roaster, Brandywine is undoubtedly 5/5!

Coffee addic...I mean aficionados seek out the purest form of caffeine delivery in the spectrum of taste. Spending lots of money on single origin coffee, fancy grinders, and the like is not to get any enhanced caffeine high but it is to unlock discernible flavor profiles. Ask anyone who is familiar with single origin coffee and they probably could taste test a blind pour over and tell which region of Earth from which the fruit originates. Anyway, that aside, where is there to go with coffee purchasing beyond taste? Well, that's where the importance of who exactly is roasting and selling comes into play. Brandywine Coffee Roasters is a perfect example of blending art and taste. The art-part is standout here. I haven't really felt the need to save a coffee bag before and consider hanging on a wall, but it's easy to see why one might want to with the artwork of Todd Purse (local Delaware artist and resident screenprinter). I did some digging and Brandywine roasters actually started as BrewHaHa! and others in the 90s. It and has been around in its current form since 2015. I really enjoyed the bags; they apparently are all done in-house in a printing shop and are hand-printed. Besides the artwork, each bag has traceable detailed information about the coffee within and a wax seal. You can see how cool the artwork is; I picked up a few bags for Halloween. The coffee itself was on par with any other high quality small roaster; the roast is light to medium with a good smooth flavor profile that was mildly fruity but more subtle that I was expecting given the artwork (maybe next time I shouldn't look at horror movie inspired knife while tasting). Highly recommended, especially if you have a coffee lover and need a thoughtful gift.

There were two small groups of people noisily chatting away, the entire place was giving friendly vibes. The person behind the counter asked if it was my first time there, if I prefer hot drinks (yes), and that anything they have listed on their iced menu can be done just as well hot. He then asked what my regular drink was. I shared it was a cappuccino, and I do try some syrups, but don't like things that are too sweet. He then suggested a smoked chestnut cappuccino- I was in. I also ordered their "vegan" hummus sandwich, and one of the incredible looking prepackaged cinnamon rolls for later. The cappuccino was large. He had a metal lid on it that was set on fire. After a little he quickly put the lid on so the smoke was trapped in the cup. It was an interesting flavor, not sweet, I did enjoy it. The vegan was a very fancy open faced affair served with chips. It was a very good light meal. The gentleman who made the sandwich - the same guy who made the cappuccino - asked me by name how everything was. I can't remember my own name most days so the attention to detail was seriously impressive. After noting all the attention to detail I started looking up the owners info. Wasn't on their Instagram (which I did follow) but was buried somewhere on their website. The gentleman is Aaron, a trained chef who worked around the U.S. and France. Samantha is an established mixologist. No wonder their food and drinks are outstanding in flavor and presentation. Whenever I'm in the area I'll definitely be back. Check them out!

Keep going to the stop sign. When you're at the stop sign look across the street to the left and they're right there. I got lucky and found street parking right in front of their door. Walked in and they were packed. One tiny table open squashed between two others and the bar were my options so I sat at the bar. I try to pay cash at Mom & Pops place so they're not hammered by the credit card fees. They were low on change and recommending credit cards. I dug around in my pockets and found exact change. They were all out of pastries but one. I wanted to try their pasties de nada but all that was left was a croissant so I ordered it, along with their French toast and an oatmilk cappuccino. Turns out the croissant was already purchased by another patron who was going to have it after their meal. It hadn't been served yet. I received a refund. A couple showed up and sat at the bar as all the tables were full. Then someone else showed up and pointed at the seat I had my coat on saying they were told to sit there as it was the last seat open in the entire place. Packed. The French toast came out in good time but somehow my cappuccino got lost in the mix. It was immediately made and brought out. The French toast is as good as everyone says it is. Light, well filled, great flavor without being too sweet. I was trying to eat it all but had to stop 3/4 of the way as somehow it's filling. The cappuccino is also very good. I made the mistake of wanting to try them out at 11:45 on a holiday. 100% my bad. Considering there are only 3 people working the entire establishment, they did a great job. The food and drink were totally worth it and I will be back (at a less busy time)! *Quick add: I usually don't post while in the establishment but did here. Even with it being busy the owner came by to talk about the review and share a little about their business. They do evening events, private dinners. They also host guest chefs. Their goal is to elevate dishes, which is exactly what they did to the French toast. Based on this one breakfast I would definitely consider them for any function I was hosting in the area.
