Who would have thought that you can find a Sugar Daddy at Brew Haha? I didn't as I ordered my coworkers order, which is an Ice Coffee made with love. I didn't get a chance to ask my coworker if she liked her order, but based on the crowd that was enjoying their morning, I can assume that they have many returning customers. Located near UD, I never stopped in till now, and I missed out on knowing that they had an outdoor seating area where you can watch the cars drive by or focus on your studies. I'd probably be trying to do that both. I will have to be back to see how the drinks and food are when I start my studies years after college. No time like the present. read more

We come here every time we visit Delaware! My husband was born and raised in Wilmington and this is one of his go-to spots. I love their espresso. Their coffee is typically darker roast which isn't my style, but if it's yours you'll like it. They have an extensive menu with lots of specialty drinks like Snickers and Almond Joy Lattes. They also have lots of different food options (which I've yet to try but it always smells SO good inside!) ranging from avocado toast and bagels to salads and wraps. Just moved to a neighborhood with Brew Haha and they're a great find for weekend morning caffeination and snackage. I tried the chorizo breakfast sammy on a croissant and also grabbed a chive and cheddar biscuit - both were delicious! But the real winner was the Rose Cardamom latte. Moved to LA for work over the past 10 years but still no coffee there could compare to Brew Haha! Now that i'm back I order almost daily and today I mistakenly placed an order twice on the app (the super sweet Barista/manager) noticed the error and made one with out ice so i could save it for later. I'm a big proponent of supporting local businesses, and I've always enjoyed Brew-HaHa! since high school. Step into the shop, and it's a genuine coffee shop and cafe, with fresh pastries and sandwiches waiting for you to purchase. The decor is very Euro with the small wooden tables and wall hangings. There are lots of drink options (coffee and non) on the chalkboards as well. I think it's brilliant that they name their sandwiches after local neighborhoods - brings the local feel right down to earth. I like getting the chicken salad sandwich and pairing it up with a nice iced chai. Service is always friendly, but don't be in a mad rush to get out the door. The speed of service is what prevents me from returning to Brew. I always drink a chai latte on the way to work and this is by far the slowest way to obtaining one (even slower than me making it at home.) They do not take ApplePay and Amex, which is a huge disappointment. Their competition has an app that lets you preorder your drink, so it's hard to return daily to Brew. The drink quality is always on point but pricier than the competition. They also lack matcha tea drinks, hopefully this comes soon. I would def make this a daily stop and would love to support my local coffee shop if it wasn't for these downfalls. I'll def return when I have time to sit down and enjoy their selection. read more

Gotta say, these guys are pretty great. I was in town for a few days recently and visited for coffee four or five times. On the first day they were friendly, on the second day they remembered me, and by the third day they already knew my name and were treating me like a regular. I've giving four stars because their coffee isn't quite in the category of best of the best. But on the whole these folks make very good, consistent, thoughtfully prepared espresso drinks.
