Stopped in and the place is packed. The line moved really quickly and there was a place to sit so we stayed. The chai was a tad.. stringent today, but still good. We really enjoyed the he lemon ricotta waffles. We think we like Drip as the flavors are good and not too sweet. Some places pack on the sugar instead of flavor, but not Drip. Always a favorite!

I've wanted to try this place for so long, and honestly it was different than I had expected. I initially thought Drip Cafe was more of a coffee based place, but I was surprised to find that there's an extensive breakfast and lunch menu. While I didn't get any food, the options did sound very appealing. I ordered a small oatmilk latte, which shouldn't have been a difficult request, but it took about 15 minutes until it was made. I understand they were busy, but it was just a drink. As someone who used to be a barista, I know all too well how hectic the job can be. But a latte should take about a minute to make in total. Overall the atmosphere was very nice. Well decorated and idyllic. My latte was very good and they have a cute little station to add sugars and your choices of milk/creamer.

Loved it. Large coffee shop with brunch all day. They also have pour over coffee in addition to espresso drinks. My only wish was for some additional non-breakfast dishes-- as I was there at 4pm--most were the traditional sweet or egg-based brunch flavors. The combinations of some of the dishes were really creative-- for example, I had the egg cheesesteak wrap. Their french fries and roasted potatoes were from excellent quality potatoes. Definitely modern cuisine.

We traveled over to Drip today for lunch! This is an order and seat yourself/takeout kind of place. We ordered and sat down in a booth and they brought over our coffees. They website has a coffee stout that we wanted to try but we didn't see it on their menu or menu board unfortunately. Once we sat down we waited approx 35 minutes for our food which was unfortunate. We ordered 2 pancakes, the chorizo burrito, and the Florentine sandwich. They have food runners to bring out your food to the corresponding character they assign you (we had Elvis). Once the food did come the Florentine sandwich was cold and my pancakes were a bit dark on the underside. But we were starving so we ate it anyway. You can tell it's all fresh but the food was not worth a 35 min wait, especially because we didn't order sides. Maybe this is more of a to-go place.

Amazing! Stupendous! Splendiferous!! Hands down one of the best places to have a mea in Delaware. Tucked away in Hockessin, this gem has recently expanded to match its growing clientele. The price is right, the service is always accessible and attentive, and the food is spectacular from the unique ingredients to the memorable tastes. Eileen and I will always come back. We recommend this location because I know another one opened up in Newark... If you like good coffee, great food, and a comfortable family-friendly vibe, I suggest you try The Drip Cafe out. #HastyFoodie

Food is still delicious and the coffee is still some of the best. I took away 2 stars though. Why? I know this virus has changed the world, but I wasn't satisfied with the service. I sat down and tipped like sit down, but was attended to like takeout. Self serve water. Never offered a refill on my coffee. Nobody ever once came to ask how everything was or if I wanted a refill. I won't fully give up on this place because I know we're in difficult times. I'll revisit when the apocalypse is over

Sooo good! Came into Drip for the first time this morning. We ordered within a couple minutes of walking in and were able to snag a booth in the back. My son had a waffle, my husband the hash and I had the bacon caramel apple pancakes. My son and I both had London fog latte's and my husband had a chai latte. All of the drinks were really good. My husband really enjoyed his hash, though thought he could've gone without the bbq sauce on it. My son ate his entire waffle so that's always a good sign. And my pancakes were AMAZING!! Can't wait to return and try bananas foster French toast.

Great food. Great service. Prices are the cheapest around. Have been patronizing the cafe for 13 years now, ever since it opened. Recommend this spot to all!

I have been here twice now and have really enjoyed it. The menu is small but consistent and delicious. I have gotten the house salad, but being vegetarian, I substitute their marinated tofu for the usual turkey. It is wonderful! The perfect mixture of flavors and textures. The staff is friendly and professional and everything is clean and organized. My only wish is that they had a few more options for kids. There is lots of parking and delicious baked goods. I am looking forward to visiting again.

The food gives you that fine dining experience without the pretentiousness. The staff is warm and friendly -- shout out to Chet for his amazing service. They were also very accommodating to our son who was in between napping when we began dining, setting up a high chair for us in a way that would allow him to continue sleeping in his car seat. We started the meal off with some seared scallops that were perfectly arranged. Next, my wife had some seared tuna while I ordered the Colorado bison -- both items off of the special seasonal menu. The dishes were incredibly flavorful and the veggies that surrounded the meat added a nice complement. I also really enjoyed my California cab, as did my wife with her house Manhattan. We will definitely be back next time we are in Delaware, and highly recommend to anyone visiting the Hockessin area!

(Server rectified) The pasta carbonara was prepared using guanciale instead of bacon or pancetta. I found it too rich and almost over cooked. The duck wings appetizer my friend had were excellent. The fresh fish entree was delicious. The cheesecake dessert was a thing of beauty. I would probably try again, but it's a half an hour away. (We passed way too many other restaurants to try)

We got seats at the bar right away, and the bartender was knowledgable and friendly. She got RJ signed up for rewards which include another restaurant he visits often. We started with cheesesteak spring rolls which we try every time we find a new version somewhere, and they were crispy and delicious. I'm not 100% sure which steaks we ordered because we forgot to grab the detailed order receipt. However, I only order filet mignon and I believe it was with au poivre, and his was probably some type of strip because that is what he usually gets. The steaks were juicy and cooked perfectly with that buttery smoky flavor that comes from whatever magic it is they do back there in the kitchen. It was melt in your mouth goodness, and RJ was jealous of my mashed potatoes and broccolini. We finished with the cheesecake which was so original and different with apple butter and pecans. This was a perfect ending to our visit, and Redfire is definitely going on the restaurants we love rotation.

We finally asked our waitress and she was surprised that we didn't get the "dinner menu". Yeah, we were surprised to find out there was more than just sandwiches for dinner. She apologized that the person who seated us just didn't give us the dinner menus even though it was just about 7pm! So she said if we wanted, they would let us order from the dinner menu and give our original food to someone else. Honestly, by that time, we were sitting there for more than 45 minutes and we were starving, so we just told her we'd take our sandwiches. I have to say she was extremely apologetic about it, and was genuine. We appreciate that, but it's still unlikely we'll return.
