My wife and I decided to stop by Tiger Sugar after shopping. Very friendly staff that helped us and walked us through the desserts. The counter and behind the counter were very clean. We decided to order some dessert. She got the Chocolate Cream Cake and I got the Taro Cake Cup. The Chocolate Cream Cake was rich and delicious. When we tried the Taro Cake Cup we knew something was wrong right away. We tasted each part separately and smelled each part separately. First time getting bubble tea from somewhere not in New Jersey! I've heard of Tiger Sugar before, I know it's one of the more popular boba places. My go to bubble tea place is usually Kung fu tea, but this place beats their brown sugar boba. This drink had mini and large tapioca balls with a syrup that mixed amazingly with the matcha. It is really hard to get a smooth and sweet matcha drink. This had a great balance between the darkness of the matcha and the sweetest of the brown sugar. I was NEVER a fan of brown sugar boba. No mattered how many times I've ordered it from different boba shops, this drink wasn't my cup of tea. After the rave hype of their ice cream/popsicles sold in stores and countless of picture worthy snaps across social media, Tiger Sugar sold me. It is not to be compared. I got my beverage with pudding. Very smooth and creamy. A tad bit sweet, but nothing to complain. Boba was made fresh and didn't have any hard or chewy texture. Had a little group get together at my house so we decided to order some Tiger Tea as a location finally opened in Delaware. I opted for the #1 Brown Sugar Boba+Pearl W Cream Mouse. I greatly appreciated the option to make the drink lactose-free! The only negative aspect of the drinks for me was the inability to adjust the ice level. A third of my cup was filled with ice, which left not much liquid after a couple of gulps. Will definitely return to try the taro options as not that many bubble tea shops offer it. The location is located slightly off campus away from the busy W/E Main Street, which is very inconvenient for driving and parking. read more

I got the #4 brown sugar boba milk with espresso and cream mousse. It wasn't very good, the espresso flavor was bitter and really overpowering. The service was good though. In Philly at another tiger sugar location I had the one without espresso and was much better. I wish they had the #1 with tea in it. For a large it's like $7+ I think so it's pricey compared to other bubble tea. read more

I am visiting from California and you know they have 283841 boba places to choose from but there's only a few places that make it right. I had to come to this location because I recognized the brand from those delicious Ice cream bars! It did not disappoint. I absolutely hate it when the boba gets mushy or hard when it sits in the drink for a while. This boba did not do that, it was perfect every sip! The only thing I will say is that the paper straws that we got made it difficult to eat/drink the pudding. I will be back soon to try the rest of the items on the menu! read more

I think this is the bougiest boba shop I've been to so far. The drink I got was good, couldn't really tell if you could customize drinks since they had a limited looking menu. A bit pricey for sure but delicious and worth it. It wasn't too sweet which i loved and loved the interior of the shop too. read more

I'd like to start this off by saying I'm a former boba-rista from the bay area where there is no shortage of high quality milk tea on every block. That said I'm picky about my boba and would say that this is the only decent place to get some within a couple miles radius. The drink I got was the signature best selling drink: Brown Sugar Boba Milk + Pearl with Cream Mousse (left in the photo). It was very creamy and sweet, and the boba was cooked to perfection. I loved the variety of big and small tapioca pearls in one drink. Be warned that you cannot adjust the ice nor sugar here! I typically get 0-30% sugar so I could have enjoyed it more if I had that option, but I already knew going in that Tiger Sugar doesn't do adjustments. With that consideration in mind I would say it was pretty good; you would REALLY love Tiger Sugar if you have a big sweet tooth! If I ever return to Delaware, I'd definitely come here to get my boba fix. Most of the boba places on the east coast just don't do milk tea justice - this is one of the best places I've tried during my time here. read more
