Popped in for dessert on a Thursday evening. While the exterior of the building smelled like the nearby farming operations, the inside smelled like fresh waffle cones and the plethora of ice cream being made. The staff were really friendly enjoy and allowed me to sample a few flavors prior to deciding. While they were all excellent, I settled on the seasonal pumpkin coffee cake flavor. Portions were very generous at s great price point. Excellent ice cream, will definitely be back!

I love stopping by UDelaware's creamery for ice cream. They have fun flavors and are more reasonably priced. The kids scoop is 1 scoop in a cup, the small is 2 scoops (1 flavor) in a cup or choice of cone, and medium is 4 scoops (2 flavors) in a cup or choice of cone. The flight is 4 scoops (4 flavors). I find that their ice cream does melt rather quickly so I like to get the ice cream in a cup with a cone on top. I like getting the medium or flight so I can try more flavors. On the regular menu, the bing cherry and Ube are some of our favorites. For seasonal flavors, we have enjoyed the 1st state cobbler, junk in the tree trunk, and trick or treat. Located near the ice rink with ample parking and benches/seating outside the shop. They do not have a public bathroom so make sure to grab wet naps and napkins!

Ah creamy fresh ice cream from a university program what could be better? You can almost hear the cows mooing!! Don't worry about the line because the service will always be pleasant!! They offer seasonal flavors as well as their tasty standards!! Several cone choices and you can't help but noticing the waffle iron. The ice cream is creamy deliciousness and worth a stop now and then

Delicious ice cream made fresh on campus. I got the ice cream flight with apple cobbler, Bing cherry, pumpkin cobbler and chocolate peanut cocoa. It was all delicious. Four small scoops, a sampler of deliciousness. Friendly staff; stools inside and tables outside. And koozies for your ice cream so it doesn't melt. And the cow cutout is so adorable and she's eating ice cream! She likes ice cream too!

Ice cream is delicious with ample scoops Service is efficient and accurate Ambiance busy, about 8 or stools inside. Fair amount of ample outdoor seating.

Delicious homemade ice cream with unique 20+ seasonal and classic flavors. Whenever we drive up from Northern Virginia to King of Prussia, PA, we make a pit stop at UDairy for a sweet treat with a generous ginormous serving! The ice cream has a high freezing point and doesn't melt right away. While there's no option for a split scoop, you can get a Kiddie scoop or a flight of 4 flavors. My favorites include All Nighter, Mint and Cookies, Nom Nom Nom, and Delaware River Mud Pie, and Ch Ch Ch Chocolate. All Nighter - The sweet and savory flavor tastes like mocha with a coffee base and cookie dough, chocolate sandwich cookies, and fudge. Bursting with flavor in every bite. Ch Ch Ch Chocolate - True to its chocolatey name, the flavor is frozen cocoa ice cream with chocolate chunks, chocolate sandwich cookies, chocolate cake crunchies and a fudge swirl. Delaware River Mud Pie - Chocolate Cookies and Cream was delicious! Nom Nom Nom - Fun blue ice cream with cookie dough and cookies and cream. Mint and Cookies - Tastes like a thin mint cookie. My preference over the Mint Chocolate Chip. Cookie Dough Dynamite - Loaded with cookie dough. The flavor was a bit more bland and I would opt for Nom Nom Nom. 1st State cobbler - Wasn't a big fan of the peach ice cream with blueberry swirl and cinnamon. Fun to try, but very sweet! The Apple Cider didn't quite hit the spot either. While the housemade crispy waffle cone adds a nice crunch, it's surprisingly very sweet and doesn't have that savory sweet pairing with the ice cream that I was hoping for. Impressively, I was able to make it to the bottom of a cone without any ice cream dripping onto my hand. No mess! Before getting sprinkles, just ask the shop if they have them as they sometimes run out. One time the staff topped off my ice cream with a thick coat of crunchy round nonpareils instead of sprinkles (the shop ran out), which overpowered and ruined the Nom Nom Nom flavor. While there's a porta potty, it's a bummer the restrooms aren't open to the public. Always excited to stop by and grab a scoop!

Ube, black raspberry, vanilla, fresh waffle cone

Made a stop over in Delaware, my wife saw online pictures showing a cone with Ube ice cream, she had to try. They have many flavors of ice cream and they also have menu favor picks. We tried three scoops ice cream, ube, black raspberry, vanilla in a fresh waffle cone, very good ice cream.

Stopped by after a college tour. Was interesting to learn that the ice cream is made from a dairy farm belonging to U Delaware. There's also a class for students to learn about the process and come up with their own flavors to be voted on. The classic milkshake was great. No complaints at all except for the calories...there is lots of seating indoors and some outdoor tables too. Enjoy!

Amazing ice cream! Been here several times as a student as a grad student a decade ago at the University of Delaware and went back with my wife and best friend last weekend. The service is friendly and fast and the seating is limited inside with a couple picnic tables outside. We ended up eating it in the car and it was wonderful. I love that they now have a Cookie Monster flavor called Om Nom Nom that my wife and I shared with the peach First State Cobbler special. Look forward to returning next time in Newark.

Four scoop sampler! Loved that Ube!

My family was visiting for my daughter to do a college tour. Saw that they had an ice cream place that uses dairy from campus agriculture and makes all the ice cream. Had to try that. I went with a four scoop sampler, very reasonably priced. The gentleman working the counter was very patient, as I couldn't remember the flavors I had decided on 60 seconds earlier. The ube flavor was a highlight for me, really great! My daughters enjoyed there's as well. (And so did I when I finished there's as well) Clean, bright, and modern. Definitely a great place to have on campus!

Great stop!

Went to The Green House Gastropub on Friday 2/6/26 for lunch and had the Casa Verde Nachos (we…read moreadded crab!), the French Dip Sammy and the Tony Fontina Burger along with a finely crafted Bloody Mary & Maple and Brown Sugar Old Fashion. The food was delicious, the drinks wonderful, and the waitstaff perfectly attentive. Our Bartender, Fa was a delight. 10 out of 10. Everyone should stop by!

Horrible (brunch) menu and service. Absolutely nothing remotely normal on the menu: no option to…read moreget eggs and toast and meat, just pork bellie pig and other weird choices. No pancakes, (unsfuffed) French toast, bagels with lox. Chairs are old and extremely uncomfortable. Place is loud even if a few people are there. It's literally hell. Horrible service. Waiter brought me 2/3 of a cup of warm coffee and asked if I wanted milk or cream and sugar instead of bringing them over. Had to wait five minutes for my eerily specific request for a certain number of creams and Splenda. No spoon or other way to mix the cream and sugar. I couldn't find a single thing on the menu that seemed even remotely close to palatable, so I ordered an English muffin, thinking I'd be safe. Wrong. It was doughy and soaked with butter. Should I have told them to hold the butter because I was a jelly guy? Who knows. I've never felt more like leaving a zero dollar tip than I did at Greenhouse Gastropub. Skip it.
