A great find in Delaware. I was very happy to find that they can adjust sugar level and make without black tea for caffeine free drinks. My taro boba milk drink came out absolutely perfect. I ordered jasmine milk tea and it was powder based, bad flavor, which was very disappointing as I could have gotten fresh, good tasting jasmine milk tea at Christiana mall (but wanted to check this place out). My husband got the brown sugar milk tea and it tasted good, if its powder we can't tell, it tasted fresh. I'd strongly urge the business to cut down their menu options to focus on quality. Theres a lot of competition for bubble tea in upper Delaware and powdery, poor tasting options arent going to do them any favors getting repeat customers. This is my go to bubble tea place, but not today. I accidentally poked a hole in my sister's bubble tea drink, and I needed it sealed for my drive. I went back to the front desk and nicely asked "Can you reseal my cup so it doesn't spill in my car" and before I could even finish my sentence, he cut me off and said No! I understand that's an additional material being used, but that's the cost of running a business and should be included in customer service. I am Taiwanese and from NYC so trust when I say I loved the taro bubble tea I got here (with tapioca and I added lychee jelly too). To be fair to Sarah L's one-star review, there was something a little different in the tea flavor or the soy creamer or whatever which maybe she didn't like, but I loved it. This review is for the bubble tea only. I got the taro bubble tea. They made it with soy milk. It was too sweet and the taro powder hadn't mixed properly. The bubble tea was gritty. Instead of a complex taro flavor, you get a sweet, gritty mess. And then get charged extra to replace the boba with jelly. I threw mine in the trash after a few sips. Worst bubble tea ever. I do not recommend the bubble tea here. read more

I don't ever post things like this as I am not hard to please, but the way I was treated today was nothing short of disgusting. I ordered a bubble tea at Rubie's, and asked for the clear bubbles. The owner Jenny told me "it tastes like lychee, ok." Not knowing what that meant, I said "uhh... ok sure thanks." When she handed it to me, it had these jelly rectangles in it. I apologized, and said I think I must have ordered the wrong thing, but asked if they wouldn't mind switching out the lychee stuff for the bubbles, or just giving it to me on the side so I could do it myself. In front of everyone around us she refused to switch it out, telling me that was what I ordered, and that I could "buy another one," if I wanted something different. I then asked if I could have a refund and was denied that because "it wasn't their fault." I went to mall security and was told this wasn't the first time someone has complained about their terrible customer service, and I left the mall short 4$ for something I never received. If I could rate this any lower, I would. Please do not give them your business. read more

My daughter had never had "bubble tea" before, but loves jasmine tea. She ordered a jasmine bubble tea, and received something like thick chalky sweetened milk, with no discernible jasmine flavor. We were just going to chalk it up to experience, but our friend urged us to try to get our money back as there had been no way of sampling the flavors prior to purchase. When I told the manager the problem, he just started yelling at me. He was yelling that there were no refunds, and that if the customer didn't know what they liked it wasn't his problem. He first mentioned they would replace it with another flavor, then also changed his mind and yelled no replacements!. What a nasty human.
