A child was scream-crying on the call while this employee packed orders right in front of everyone. Look, I'm not coldhearted. I get that life and work sometimes blend together. Emergencies happen, kids exist, and we all have tough days. But I work hard for my money. I have kids. When I go out to dinner with my husband (especially to a place with excellent food and prices to match). I'm there to relax, escape, and enjoy the experience. Listening to someone else's household chaos, at full volume, in the middle of the dining room is the opposite of professional.
