    "Spicy" ramen and Kani salad
    Denton J.

Not to be confused with "Kumamoto" in Newark (though they share a name and logo and vibe). Asian fusion place with almost the whole continent being represented. Sushi, soup, Chinese, etc.. This place feels a bit cheap and chainy. Watery broken broth, not very hot with odd cuts of pork done charshu style. Tastes almost college dorm "instant". There's a few new places like this popping up-202 and in Christiana, which doesn't surprise me if you're taking the cheaper, less culinary driven, less authentic route. I could probably mimic Kumamon's ramen at home with little effort. The Kani Salad was actually pretty good. Pretty pricey considering it's not even close to being as good as Kumamoto, which reigns supreme in DE.

Went in for lunch with my husband and son on a Sunday. My son and husband both LOVE Ramen. I like ramen too but I wasn't in the mood for it this day. I had a spicy tuna roll and a spicy salmon roll. I enjoyed both rolls. They were fresh, and cold, as they should be. My husband had a spicy ramen, I'm not sure of the name. He said it was good but surprisingly overly spicy. All he could taste was the spice he said. We ordered a side of noodles and broth for my son. And he really enjoyed his! My husband had a matcha tea and enjoyed that. My son and I both had bubble milk tea and really enjoyed those! Also, the inside is really cool and clean. Very anime themed. And all of the employees were kind and helpful. I'm sure we'll be back.

Fun ambiance, anime on tv. Felt relaxing and inviting.

Upon walking in on a Friday afternoon, the restaurant was quieter than I expected. The staff were quick and friendly, food came out in a timely manner, and we enjoyed everything we had. We shared an order of karage and I had the Yokai Ramen, which was a refreshing, rich broth with a hint of spice. Will definitely be back to try more of their menu.

This was our family dinner night out and we were all hungry and ready for some good ramen. They offered a number of different recipes for ramen and good list of appetizers. We had the Korean fried chicken tenders jumbo shrimp shumai and then our ramen. **Whenever I eat Asian food out I always drink beer and specifically Sapporo.** For this to be our first time at this restaurant, and stated to the waiter, I would have liked the waiter to go over the menu and give us suggestions and favorites, but I'm learning that service is no longer prioritized in certain aspects. Luckily we are not new to ramen and kinda knew what we wanted. That's my only dislike. The food was excellent, enough for leftovers and I surely ate mine for lunch the next day. I recommend the Spicy Xin Seafood Ramen as pictured. We're gonna go back and try another ramen bowl next time.

**If you want video/pictures of this review look on my food Instagram or TikTok…read more@ReservationforAmanda This is one of the most upscale restaurants in Wilmington. It is often regarded as one of the best, and you can tell both the chefs and the staff work hard to make it that way. We tried 8 dishes (they recommended 4 to 6 for two people, so we over did it) and left stuffed...like could not finish the delicious dessert stuffed. Our ranking of the dishes we ate: --Carbonara--yes yes yes, a delightful explosion --Lamb neck--the richness of the broth cut slightly with the acidity of the passionfruit...order this --Branzino--light, flaky, heavily seasoned skin (in the best way) --Burrata pop tart--a classic that the entire table will love --Beef Tartare--loved the pillowy bread twist on this dish --Salmon--these are meant to be eaten in 1 bite, a pop of citrus with salty roe at the end --Scallop--this was the only miss for me. I thought the flavors were competing with each other instead of complementing. The Ode to Chocolate was awesome with so many different flavors and textures. A chocolate lovers dream! The staff here was super friendly and helpful. Each dish was described as it came out. I always love that because it shows how much care goes into each dish. Sabrina, our waitress, recommended incredible dishes and answered the dozens of questions we had. We will, of course, be back to try even more.

Courses came out before previous courses completed. Table not marked with fresh silverware for subsequent courses. Portion sizes ridiculously small (4 gnocchi for $15?). Management indifferent when issues brought to their attention. Felt embarrassed to take a guest there for a special occasion. Kitchen has excellent skills that were overwhelmed by less than 1 star service.
