I came here with my girlfriend for a quick bite. We had driven by this new restaurant a few times and finally decided to give it a try. The service was fast, the food was OK, and the space had a clean, modern vibe with stylish decor. It's casual, but thoughtfully put together. Overall Ratings Restaurant 4/5 Service 3/5 Food 2/5 Parking: Free Atmosphere The restaurant is nicely decorated, with an open layout. Some of the booths are set up just like the ones in restaurants in Japan. Everything was clean for the most part. Service Staff were friendly, efficient, and helpful, making the ordering process smooth. While I appreciated their recommendations, it eventually started to feel like they were upselling everything on the menu. For example, if we ordered one item from a category (like appetizers or ramen), we were told nearly half of the other items in that same category were also must-tries. What We Ordered -Kanji Wings (They were decent, but essentially just Chinese-style fried chicken wings with KEWPIE mayo. Nothing special.) -Pork Bao (Almost cold when served. It came out fast, but felt like they didn't bother heating it properly.) -Vegetable Ramen + Chicken (The broth had good flavor, but overall, it was your standard ramen shop experience.) The food was fine, but felt very average. It's like they played it safe, especially with the wings, which weren't memorable aside from the store-bought sauce. The baos were on the cold side and pricey compared to other places that offer more than two pieces for nearly $8. Final Thoughts It's OK-good. The service was solid, and the decor was the highlight. In the end, it feels like they played it safe. The experience will satisfy your hunger, but you're unlikely to feel fulfilled or wowed.

Stopped by for a quick lunch on our way home - the menu mainly focused on ramen but we saw they had donburi and yakisoba, so we got one of each! The hard boiled eggs were cooked very well - perfectly soft. I liked the flavor of the Gyu Donburi best - definitely sweet and savory.

I was so pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. I genuinely just happened upon it as I was in the area and was looking for some Ramen. I didn't even know we had things like this in the area. The Ramen was definitely some of the best I've had in Delaware. It hit the spot! The service is quick, and of course, the atmosphere in the restaurant is adorable. I will definitely be coming back here to try more!

Stopped into the location to try out this new Ramen location that opened up near our home. I've slowly seen that this area is slowly growing in Asian influence with the location of KPot; a Hotpot/KBBQ restaurant, the Hung Vuong Asian Grocery store similar to HMart and now this Ramen shop that has a niche with the other close Ramen location near the University of Delaware or the Christiana Mall. This location easy to get to off the highway allows you to enjoy some typical ramen variety like Tonkatsu Ramen which I ordered or Shoyu Ramen which my boyfriend decided to enjoy. There is even a mystery bowl of Ramen if you are living a little dangerously. The bowls were deep with broth, egg noodles and the typical toppings that you would find at other ramen locations like a soy egg, corn, scallions and bamboo shoot. The Tonkatsu Ramen was interesting in that they cut up the Chashu meat into cubes which I always enjoy holding the spiral meat with my chopsticks before devouring every savory bite. Made it good to catch some meat when I sipped up every bite of broth left. Takoyaki was pretty standard with sauce, steamy octopus and wavey fish flakes. The atmosphere is very open and bright unlike other Ramen locations I've been to which could be cramped and more noodle "bar" vibes with possibly outdoor seating to enjoy the sun while slurping up some golden noodles.

New ramen spot that just opened up right near the hospital and across from Del Tech. I couldn't decide on what kind of ramen to get so I opted for the Kanji wings. The wings were tasty, not overly crispy but they still had a lot of flavor. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant had plenty of seating and was pretty empty. I would definitely come back and try out their ramen.

Let's start by saying the takeout container is amazing! They separate the soup from the noodle and toppings. The gyu rice was so flavorful and delicious. The pork bun was well seasoned. The ramen was delicious even my daughter loved it. I had the chicken broth with chicken and my bestie had the pork broth with pork Ramen. Didn't get to eat inside due to time constraints while traveling through. So we ordered take out for pickup. We purposely drove out of our way, to get noodles as we were craving for soup noodles. This place didn't disappoint. I would recommend the food.

We were able to try out this new restaurant because K Pot gave us a 75 minute wait. We were a party of 10 with 6 adults and 4 kids. We all ordered a different ramen. The ones who got Miso, Shoyu and Shio did not really enjoy. I asked for mushrooms, but instead my ramen came without mushrooms. She quickly resolved it by bringing it back to add mushrooms. My cousin asked for no bean sprouts in his Miso, but instead they took the bean sprouts out of my hubby's shoyu. There were only a few high chairs in the restaurant, so they asked to take one of our's as soon as the child got out to walk around. The karaage and wings were good. My Tonkotsu Ramen was good. Broth was good, noodles were good, and egg was done just right with great flavor. I would come back here. The ambiance is nice with lots of hanging fake plants and a large cherry blossom tree in the front.

Food was very delicious. Served hot & extremely fresh with great bursts of flavors. Service was super quick & very friendly. The ambiance was was fitting for the type of food. I'm very happy with my ramen choice with pork loin. I liked the different spice options at the table so that I could control the level of heat I wanted. I'd definitely return here again.

Tried their shrimp tempura ramen but ate it before taking a picture! Food was delicious, customer service was amazing, and the place looked very clean. The lady at the counter was super sweet!

So excited that another ramen shop opened up in New Castle County. The restaurant has a lot of nice decor that's traditional and modern. We ordered karaage chicken as an appetizer, tonkatsu ramen and the kanji mystery ramen. It was a little weird that our ramen came out before our appetizer, but not a big deal. The tonkatsu ramen was flavorful, but the kanji mystery ramen tasted a little too fishy (possibly due to the clams or mystery broth base). I got the medium level spice and it was just the right amount of spiciness. The karaage chicken was nice and crispy, but we did end up with a big piece of bone in our order. The servers were very attentive...maybe a little too much. Upon being seated by our server, she brought and poured water for us. Within 2 minutes, she was back asking us if we were ready to order. We requested a couple more minutes to look over the menu as it was our first time here. After another 2 minutes, she came back and just hovered over us with her notepad. It was a little uncomfortable having the server just impatiently wait for us to order. We noticed this with several of the wait staff at other tables as well. I could understand if there were limited tables with a long wait list, but this was at the beginning of dinner time around 6pm with about 5 tables occupied. Definitely willing to give this place another shot.

Service was nice and the decorations were really cute. However, while the appetizers we got (chicken karage and vegetable gyozas) were pretty good, the miso ramen I got was kind of bland, even with the chili oil. It might be that the other ramen offerings are better, but definitely was disappointed by the ramen I got. That being said, overall it is not a bad spot for lunch.

    Entry -Sakura tree

Went there with my family over the weekend for lunch. Was seated immediately. Cute interior design; like the Sakura tree inside and that it's not anime-y. For those who read Japanese, some of the banners are just decor; I don't think they really serve cold beer or sushi as it says. I don't eat meat, so I went with the vegetable ramen. Like that the broth wasn't bland nor too salty. Came with protein (tofu) and even gyoza. They gave me and mum free Boba (may be grand opening promotional thing, so don't go expecting it). It was pretty strong in flavor even as the ice melted, which is important for me since I don't drink anything with my meal just after. The Boba itself was soft on the outside and a little springy inside, which was nice. Overall, it was a good experience. I have limited options as a vegan, so I won't be going too often, but I don't mind going back.

The ones we had in Hawaii had a spicy kick at the end. These were comparably good. One flavor all around. No spicy after kick. The Kalua Pork and Cabbage was spicier than what we had at Hawaii. It actually tasted better. They added ginger and it was spicy. I liked the Taiwanese cabbage better than what we had in Hawaii, which was regular cabbage. The ribeye steak ramen was good as well. It makes me want to try the rib eye entree. I like the black pepper flavor. I took the steak out as soon as it served, so it would not cook anymore in the broth. I was impressed that they made it medium rare. The chicken broth was not too salty, which it can be in other places, so I was pleased that it wasn't. The menma bamboo was crunchy. Many places have it too soft. The black seaweed/wood ear like topping was also crunchy. The wavy ramen noodles were perfectly QQ or all dente. There were two doors to open at the entrance. Our server was very attentive. He also answered all my questions. I asked it they were Pulehu Ribs. When he did not know, he went to ask his colleague. I would come back for the same dishes, get a bigger order of the short ribs, and try the garlic shrimp. Definitely a new staple for us. Before going to Hawaii, we never had Hawaiian food before. This was a good way to revisit our vacation!
