Our favorite noodle here are the wonton noodles. The noodles are just the right texture, the broth is insatiable and then wontons are luscious. It reminds me husband of the soups of Taiwan. The yellowtail, salmon and salmon roe are always fresh. We have taken many friends and family here. We usually come here when we go to Christiana Mall. Solid spot for soup dumplings in Delaware. This has a separate entrance at the outside of the mall. I liked how the dumplings came in little dishes to avoid soup leakage. The steamed shrimp dumplings were good too. We got the Mayu and the Tan tan ramens to go. The tan tan had a little bit of a spicy kick. I enjoyed the ginger, black mushroom, and bamboo in the Mayu as well as the perfectly cooked egg. Broths could have been a little deeper. The meat is roasted but a little dry and not that flavorful. The egg was over cooked but I could taste the soy seasoning. I liked that they also had the fish cake and enoki mushrooms. The corn wheels were a nice touch but less convenient to eat. The eel avocado roll was fine. I thought the dum sum dishes were pretty good and tasted pretty comparable to a traditional dim sum restaurant. The custard buns were nice and soft and the siu mai were a decent size. The soup dumplings came in individual trays so that you can still drink the soup even if it breaks when you pick it up. The restaurant is very cute and has a nice ambiance. It is in the christiana mall (across from the cinemark theater) but located on the exterior so you can access it directly from the parking lot. They have indoor and patio dining available. Service was very good. I was pleasantly by the dim sum and would come back to get that. I made it halfway through the large bowl and had to get a ginger ale because water wasn't doing the trick to cool me off. They sat me in the middle of the restaurant and I could see everything going on in the kitchen, the sushi bar, the front desk, and people at the tables indoor and outside. There was one lady who took a sushi order to go but came back five minutes later, apparently something wrong with her sushi. They quickly fixed her problem and she was back on her way. I did make it to the bottom of the bowl, enjoying every slurp of noodle and sip of broth. Also, I would like to mention the helpful wait staff made me feel not so alone. It was almost overwhelming- but in a good way. We started with the pork fried dumplings, which were delicious. The hubby ordered the Tozai Sake ( he enjoyed very much) and the Chicken buns. Next was the Wonton Soup - it was very tasty. The Wonton was filled with shrimp, and cilantro was sprinkled in the broth - amazing!!! The hubby got the Curry Katsu Plate and I got the Boston sushi roll. I enjoyed my sushi - it was fresh and flavorful. The hubby was not impressed with the Curry Katsu plate - he was expecting more flavor with a curry dish and this was not that.
