Asian fusion restaurant. Chinese, Japanese, and Thai, and none of it really done that well, in a little strip mall. Starters: * Gyoza and spring rolls were ok for the kids, but the fact they had leftovers at the end was unusual, normally these apps get decimated but they didn't eat them all * Miso soup was not rich enough but at least they had little pieces of tofu and seaweed in it Mains: * the kar bi (Korean short ribs) lacked enough flavor and were a bit overcooked and not spicy at all, tough was the word * sushi/sashimi was ok, $4 a piece of sashimi (sake) * drunken noodle, lo mein and pad thai noodles lacked enough flavor - bland all around and the drunken noodle one had all the veggies, the other nearly none- so probably made together and unevenly split into the plates * mongolian beef and the fried rice were ok was ok * duck noodle soup - duck was the roast duck you could get at a Cantonese place, wasn't bad, but the noodle soup mostly tasteless * Thai ice tea they double-charged me unexpectedly Dessert * Fried ice cream was ok per the kids, the ice cream was eaten and the outside was mostly left as a soggy mess Service was mostly absent for the night outside of orders - missed water refills until the end of the meal - server didn't really come back to see how we were doing. Gratuity added to the bill automatically was 18% for the large group, and no tax in Delaware which was a nice surprise. Dined there with a party of 6 on a Saturday evening in January. Server was a bit grouchy. Staff were extremely busy due to high volume of takeout orders that didn't seem to slow down all evening. It felt awkward to flag down staff multiple times as we had to ask for several items we'd ordered that weren't delivered. One of our party's cocktails never arrived, and we had to ask to have it removed from bill. Other cocktails arrived after entrees. Not ideal. Appetizers came out quickly. Edamame was soggy. Spring rolls were tasty. Green curry was great. Sushi rolls were excellent. This restaurant seems to cater to door dash and takeout more so than dine-in. There were no fewer than 6 people standing in the lobby of this small restaurant, waiting for delivery orders or takeout, at any given time while we were there. It creates an awkward vibe because the takeout folks are essentially standing in the middle of the restaurant. Jasmine might consider creating a seating area for people awaiting those orders so the actual dine-in customers have a more enjoyable environment. We will likely stick to takeout from this restaurant, going forward. read more

It was my first time here and the restaurant was very nice, clean and cozy with cute pillows and chill music. I ordered the crab Rangoons and California rolls to start and they were pretty nice tastes fresh and crispy. I also ordered the chicken tempura and our waitress did bring out shrimp by acid but it was no biggie, she was respectful about it and brought it out. Overall would recommend but I was definitely full after the appetizers so definitely bring a box home lol. read more

Over the past year we have noticed changes in their food - smaller portions, smaller shrimp, not as tasty, etc. on top of rising prices. Yes, I realize most restaurants are raising their food prices, but really? We're talking mostly rice, small pieces of chicken, smaller shrimp, beef slices that are listed as steak...And, delivery has increased to $5.00 as well as the TIP amount starting at a minimum of 20%! Disappointing Jasmine is following the lead of many other local restaurants and heading down a slippery slope. We go to Jasmine because the food is typically better than other similar restaurants, but it looks like that may now change. read more

A Chinese spot that also serves sushi. They should focus on one cuisine instead of botching two. I have ordered many rolls to go over the years and they have always been mediocre at best. I finally sprung for something other than sushi last week and was sorely disappointed. The black pepper beef was oddly sweet and lacked any pepper punch associated with black pepper beef. The hot and sour soup was also oddly sweet. They should lay off the sugar and corn starch. The Korean bbq chicken was made with nice thick slices of chicken breast. It tasted better than it looked. The sauce tasted like gochujang mixed with sugar. The prices are reasonable and so are the portion sizes so this place is not a rip off. Service is acceptable as well. My primary gripe is with the food. The food is bad. Too bad there aren't many other Chinese options in the area. The sushi here is okay. I would stick with that if I came again. read more

Me and friend who I haven't seen in several months wanted to catch up over dinner. We wanted a seat away from people. However, the music was too loud, and we were having trouble hearing each other. We asked the person who was making drinks near where we were seated to tune the volume down. She said she couldn't, that the manager said the music has to be at a certain level.
