Chicken teriyaki

Newly opened teriyaki/sushi takeout joint. The inside is decorated with generic 2020's restaurant decor but adorned with some Chinese takeout elements such as the ceiling height glass partition between the patrons and employees The food I ordered all tasted great. Of course I ordered extra for dinner as well but I actually ate both portions because they were tiny. I was actually still a little hungry afterwards. They gave me two sauce containers of some sort of Siracha mayo. I wasn't sure what to use the sauce for so I just tossed those in the trash after the meal There is a new teriyaki joint in town, but I think that they will have a tough time dethroning the reigning north wilmington teriyaki champ (Teriyaki M*dness) In the future I'll probably only come here if my wife wants sushi and I want teriyaki fried rice. Gotta love a place that does both!

Saw this teriyaki place open up right next to UPS and ordered for pick up as I was going to stop by UPS. I ordered for pick up and it was ready in about 10-15 minutes. It was a quick pay-grab-go situation. I don't know if it was so good because I was hungry after the gym or it was genuinely so good but it was good enough for me to eat the sides during the drive home. The bento box comes with two dumplings and spring rolls which were delicious and a choice of fried or white rice. I got the beef teriyaki with fried rice and it was delicious. They also give some spicy mayo that isn't spicy at all on the side which adds a lot of flavor. Definitely worth the visit and price for the portion size you get and the food is absolutely delicious. A solid teriyaki place for all occasions!

Nice compact menu with lots to offer

Yelp does it again! While in the area checked the good, bad or ugly for a quick bite and came across this location and decided to give it a try based on fellow Yelpers reviews. Glad I did. Quick, friendly service in a clean open kitchen area. Limited seating more of a take out place but the menu has just enough to invite you in and the portions are plentiful. Very cost friendly for the what you get. Located in a nice strip mall with plenty to do while you wait for your order if necessary. I was satisfied with my overall experience. #DinnerWinner!

Reviews are largely positive. People highlight the friendly service, clean atmosphere, and tasty food, especially the teriyaki chicken, bento boxes, and sushi rolls. Portions are good for the price, and short wait times are appreciated.

The food is good and can pick quickly. I have been twice. Both times I got the Bento salmon.

The food was so bland i didn't even enjoy it, the most underwhelming food I've ever experienced, I wouldn't even eat free food from here

First visit and will be back for more! My group of 3 was in…read morethe mood for ramen and we stumbled upon this spot. Upon walking in on a Friday afternoon, the restaurant was quieter than I expected. The staff were quick and friendly, food came out in a timely manner, and we enjoyed everything we had. We shared an order of karage and I had the Yokai Ramen, which was a refreshing, rich broth with a hint of spice. Will definitely be back to try more of their menu.

We ordered some ramen and donburi bowls, along with gyoza and Korean fried chicken (half spicy garlic, half original plain). It was a lot of food! My chashu donburi was was interesting - it's drizzled with sweet mayo, but the chashu was quite dry and not that tender. The marinated egg is perfect however. My family all really enjoyed their dishes, and I thought the gyu ramen was a standout and had a nice flavor. The noodles are well-cooked: firm and al dente. I would order from here again and would like to try the tonkotsu or tan tan ramen which are my usual go-tos. 3.5 stars but rounding up to 4 stars for being open on July 4th!

This little takeout sushi place has been a highlight of quarantine and is one of the best sushi…read moreoptions available in Delaware. Located in an unassuming strip mall on Lancaster Pike, Omka exclusively offers takeout and delivery, but at very affordable prices. They take orders through several of the food delivery apps, but they also have online ordering through their own website, which I'm sure is preferable to save them the fees. Their website allows you to create an account and save prior orders, which has been helpful when we are trying to remember what rolls we liked the time before. Each time we have ordered, we've been given a time within 20-30 min to pick up the food, and it's been ready and waiting every time except for one particularly busy Friday. I've only ordered sushi and a few of the apps, though some of my work colleagues have enjoyed the hibachi. My go-to roll is Alaska Roll, so that tends to be my point of comparison between sushi places. The Alaska roll at Omka features large pieces of salmon that tastes super fresh, and I appreciate that the rolls have a reasonable ratio of rice to fillings. The other highlight for me is the sweet potato tempura roll, which is incredible for reasons I'm not even sure I can adequately explain, but it's a must-order every single time (and a bargain at $4/roll). Other highlights: casino roll (shrimp tempura with spicy shrimp and tempura flakes on top) and the dominic roll (spicy tuna topped with avocado and tempura flakes). The only roll we didn't like was the spicy scallop tempura roll, mostly because we didn't realize the whole roll was tempura battered and fried as opposed to just the scallop and that wasn't really our jam. Appetizer-wise, we've enjoyed the kani salad, the edamame, and the shumai. We didn't care so much for the fresh garden salad. Omka is also fairly affordable. Our two apps and four sushi rolls came to just $40 yesterday. They have some great lunch deals, so it's also become an office favorite.

Very good ask for their spicy mayo!! Yum!

I really, really liked this place. Friday night in Wilmington for dinner and a show -- Mikimotos…read morewas perfect. The layout is great. An Asian-modern feel, kinda happening, makes you feel part of "the scene" and not just any restaurant. I got the same thing I always get whenever I'm eating Japanese: seaweed salad and some sushi. Everything was fine. I give it a four-out-of-five only because, well, I'm in my 60s, I've eaten a lot of sushi, and when it comes to Mikimotos ... the nigiri, not the biggest pieces I've ever had, which is a shame because it was quite good. The seaweed salad could have been drained a little better, a bit on the briney side, but eat up! Seaweed salad is a superfood. Beautiful selection of sakis. I picked something light and cold, on the sweeter side, of which I did consume a lot. I had a fine time at Mikimotos. Price point? Ummm ... not cheap, but nothing ever is these days. I can't think of any reason not to recommend Mikimotos. (But perhaps a word of caution. Wilmington can feel a little sketchy to the out-of-towner, and there is a public park two blocks away that I found a bit harrowing to walk through. The inhabitants of said park were eager to engage, so steer clear and keep your wits about you.)
