I used to Come here every time I'm in town. Had a different name when I arrived. I Didn't realize it had changed owners. Came in and was greeted right away. Asked if I wanted AYCE or the menu and said I wasn't sure. She brought me to a table and explained both options. I chose AYCE and they give you a couple forms to fill out. There are some rules like no more than 15 pieces of sashimi around etc. but it's pretty generous I ordered a couple rolls and some sashimi, some apps and a soup. Everything was good, and only lasted 1 round. AYCE was 30 bucks on this night, changes depending on the day of the week. Overall a nice time. 4th time dining here and always consistent food and service! Friendly and quick. Best miso soup in the area and great variety of sushi many which you don't see elsewhere. My coworker and I came in on a rainy evening after having a beer elsewhere (while the food looked good there, I was dying for some sushi). We got the all you can eat which would up being a slightly better deal than the amount it would have been to order the individual sushi. The food was tasty and service was friendly and prompt. This is a solid 3 star place if you are looking for quantity as it is all you can eat. Wasn't great, wasn't terrible. I wanted to try it because of the high rating and was underwhelmed. The sushi and sashimi was cut very thin likely to save money. I was a little surprised since my experience at sushi Xtreme near Wilmington was so good. Probably why the restaurant was so empty. Better pricing if you bring cash. The size of the rolls and quantity was standard. Unfortunately the food lacked flavor. We tried a few different rolls and all of them were disappointing. This place has great sushi and sashimi. Not really "AYCE" but they try to sound like it. The advertisement as "AYCE" is misleading for sure. I went here one day for a late lunch and the place was empty. I asked the waitress if I could have anything on the order forms as there were two separate pages for both traditional Asian food and Sushi/Sashimi. She said "Yes, of course and you can order more after submitting the first forms if you want!". I filled out their order form and submitted it to my waitress. Everything was very fresh and came out pretty fast. When I was finished with what I had originally put on my order sheets I still wanted to try a sushi roll or two. After I asked the waitress for the rolls the owner/manager who was glaring at me from across the room immediately came to my table and said that the order would be "last call"? As I left the owner/manager, while horking down his lunch at a table by the door, looked at me up and down as if to remember me so the next time I came in he can say "Last call!" sooner I suppose. I responded by thanking him for the excellent sushi and he simply grunted. Good reasonable Asian food but I don't need the stuffy owner/manager hawking over my plate then cutting me off. I ordered the shrimp tempura, asparagus tempura and peanut avocado sushi rolls and ate them ALL in one seating. Did I feel uncomfortable after? Yes. Did I regret it? No. The sushi was amazing and they served it on slate plates which was cool and unique. They also had these fun Japanese sodas that were new to me. You had to plunge the marble into the drink to break the seal. I had the melon and strawberry flavors and enjoyed them both but the strawberry one a bit more. read more

Not a fan. They do not have alcohol so it is BYOB and then they charge you for doing it. They offer Coke products but the lemonade is obviously not a Coke product and is bad tasting. The sushi was warm and mediocre tasting. The garden salad was from a bag with cabbage in it. The tomato was added afterwards and was the best part of it. Presentation was poor and no cucumber. I have eaten at over 100 sushi restaurants and this was the first one to have no cucumber in the salad. The dressing tasted like it came out of a bottle. Not impressed with the waitress. Never came over until after we were done eating, so no refill on my beverage. We asked for separate checks. She split the bill down the middle and charged each credit card the same. We should have run away when we saw the window decor looked like Charlie Brown characters upon arrival. This is a Charlie Brown restaurant. read more
