I was hungry and forgot to get a pic! 9/10 I ordered the filet special that they have kept on the menu since the summer because it's so popular. Loved the marinade on it, though wasn't clear it would be medallions. It was slightly fatty & I am very picky about that but I ate the whole entire plate! I would get it again! 8/10 My partner got the spicy noodles which were good as well. 7/10 Lastly, we got passion fruit and mango mochi, and I liked the passion fruit better. 7.5/10 There are so many good options on the menu! You have a reservation are you still coming (let us know if your cancelling, so we can maximize our profit) 2, If you bring your own wine we charge 3. If you bring your own dessert we charge. 4. If you miss your reservation we charge you $50. We took a break, as it was so overwhelming to feel the above pressure on a special occasion. Then we decided to go there on a TUESDAY. Place was empty. And it was for a birthday dinner. Our waiter Chris was not attentive, at all. We ordered our main course, which was not that much food. An hour later we finally got to eat. The waiter, who did nothing, no drink follow-up, no how's your meal follow-up, got an automatic 20% tip. And to top it off he decided on his own to bag our birthday dessert and send us off on our way, which we all couldn't understand. We didn't even get to sing happy birthday. $551 dollar tab. Sometimes great places hit a fork in the road. They either get better or nosedive into a place you avoid at all costs. Unfortunately, you're cuckoo if you still think Teikoku is a great place to spend $551. You've been warned.

I used to frequent Poseidon--mostly for lunch, sometimes for dinner, and a few times for takeout…read more One evening in the summer, I stopped in to order takeout. The young woman at the desk was engaged in a conversation with her friend. Both were about 17-19. I stood patiently waiting for quite a while. Finally I spoke up and said "May I see the takeout menu?" She handed one to me, and went back to her conversation. The "friend" sneered at me and moved so that she was blocking me from the register. I couldn't believe it. After a while I looked at the employee and finally said "Oh hey, I am ready to order." She glanced up and nodded. But went back to listening to her "friend." At this point I walked up to the register and said "Excuse me but I'd like to order." The "friend" GLARED at me, spitting venom from every pore. Then she launched into a TIRADE. I ignored her and placed my order. I won't lie though, I was fn shaking. Here I am, a middle-aged woman who's endured some trauma and BS in my life and come out on the other side, and this nasty little B is taking me on?! She continued to glare at me the entire time I was there waiting for my food, up to and including when I walked out the door. It was APPALLING. How no one got involved is just disgusting. I spoke to an employee and asked for the manager/owner. She said they weren't there. I left my name and number and asked for a call back. Heard nothing. The food is OK--not worth abuse. I never went back to Poseidon.

The ones we had in Hawaii had a spicy kick at the end. These were comparably good. One flavor all around. No spicy after kick. The Kalua Pork and Cabbage was spicier than what we had at Hawaii. It actually tasted better. They added ginger and it was spicy. I liked the Taiwanese cabbage better than what we had in Hawaii, which was regular cabbage. The ribeye steak ramen was good as well. It makes me want to try the rib eye entree. I like the black pepper flavor. I took the steak out as soon as it served, so it would not cook anymore in the broth. I was impressed that they made it medium rare. The chicken broth was not too salty, which it can be in other places, so I was pleased that it wasn't. The menma bamboo was crunchy. Many places have it too soft. The black seaweed/wood ear like topping was also crunchy. The wavy ramen noodles were perfectly QQ or all dente. There were two doors to open at the entrance. Handicap accessible. No steps. Two gender neutral restrooms. Spacious. Handicap accessible. We found street parking right out front. We came at 7 PM on a Monday after the dinner rush. Our server was very attentive. He also answered all my questions. I asked it they were Pulehu Ribs. When he did not know, he went to ask his colleague. I would come back for the same dishes, get a bigger order of the short ribs, and try the garlic shrimp. Definitely a new staple for us. Before going to Hawaii, we never had Hawaiian food before. This was a good way to revisit our vacation!

I was in West Chester, PA, for a special event at the QVC/HSN studios, on Sunday, March 23, 2026. HSN host, Bobbi Ray Carter retired after 43 years, on-air. Lovely live studio audience event. I stayed at The Warner Hotel, which was very pleasant and only 2 blocks from TSUNAMI, my Sushi Lunch Favorite!! (I'm from NYC, so this calm, chill music vibe is much appreciated! ) I recommend TSUNAMI. If I was staying longer, I'd also try some of the Thai food offered here, too. Yesterday, I did see a lovely iced Thai Tea or Thai Coffee, not sure which, but it looked great. Enjoy a meal here. And relax. And, the gelato place almost next door, was enjoyable last night. And the homemade candy place a block down was good too. Milk chocolate peanut butter homemade cups, very good. Another person in our group had the new york teriyaki hibachi. I had a bite and it was better than the Thai dishes, but probably not good enough to make me want to go back. The pluses: Portions are very generous and the service is great. They also offer a lunch menu from Monday through Saturday. The minuses: the Thai dishes have a spin to them and do not taste anything like the dishes they are named after. Overall, I wish I liked the food more but this spot would probably appeal to folks that are not looking for more authentic Thai dishes.

The restaurant is clean and nicely maintained, and I liked the cool ambiance. We started with pan-fried pork and chicken dumplings. They were the perfect texture and temperature and the sauce was good. I only tried one of the pork dumplings, which by itself lacked flavor. I enjoyed the delicious Tom Kha Gai soup -- best part of my meal. I ordered the Red Hot Roll, which was beautifully presented but was just OK. It was not spicy at all and had a weird aftertaste. I couldn't put my finger on it: I thought it was the wasabi or avocado, but it still tasted funny without them. It was disappointing. The teens had Crunchy Spicy Tuna Rolls, which they liked but also noticed a subtly odd flavor. They finished with tempura fried ice creams (one vanilla, one chocolate) and I had a green tea ice cream. No issues there. Service was satisfactory. The fish is of top quality and their portions are very large. We got the sushi/ sashimi platter for about 30 bucks and it was enough for two people. And as a dessert, which Japanese restaurants usually throw in .... an orange, which is always kind of orange in color with no taste. Service was fast and mostly the rolls tasted like rolls you could get from anywhere else. I would give these a 3.5/5, pretty solid and a good close place to get a quick bite. I decided to order them again through third party for pick up again but I got more. I thought I could trust their sashimi based on my first experience. The staff are super nice and the order was prepared in a timely manner. Waiting for your food is brief if you can ahead and if you get there early the dining area is nice. When I opened the containers I thought the pieces of fish looked incredibly fresh! They passed the sniff test. I did not have the same experience taste wise... the tuna rolls had a slight fishiness to them which I agreed with but most places do. Yellowtail rolls were just like last time. The salad with ginger dressing was fine. The sashimi was ok, a bit small and expensive for what they're giving you. I would give this all a slightly lower rating of 3/5 compared to my first experience. What is the real low blow is my food buddy unfortunately ate a disgusting piece. One of the salmon sushi pieces tasted rotten. The other one did not. If you unfortunately know what mold tastes like then you can see my unpleasant review. It was a surprise because the single salmon sushi (in the middle of the combination tray in between the white tuna and the tuna nigiri) looked ok. But it had an odd odor and poor taste. I had adequately placed hopes on this place's sushi and sashimi based on my first visit and the photos from other customers. Seriously look the sashimi and nigiri sushi plating looks good. It's just one bad piece of salmon sushi that ruined the meal unfortunately.
