Horrible take out ! If there was a zero star to give I would have given that to this establishment. We ordered $70 worth of a take out food. It came fairly quickly and we opened the containers looking forward for a tasty meal. Everything was either undercooked or raw !!! The veggie dumplings were pieces of uncooked dough that we couldn't eat at all. The rice with chicken had pieces of undercooked chicken in it and the ribs were hard and chewy! This place is horrible. I'm not above cheap Chinese food however this place takes it to a new low. I got the meat egg rolls. Now I know why most of the time the meat is pink (it's a spice they use to cover up old meat - that was disclosed to me by a chinese friend in the business). But this place had so much on it that was all I could taste. The chicken in our sesame chicken was pink as well under the sauce. The veggie egg fu young was extremely oily. My search for decent Chinese near where I often work in West Chester continues. Decided to try this place because they left advertising flyers in the neighborhood. The prices, by the way, are cheap for lunch but go up for dinner, so dinner price was about average for Chinese food - not cheap. Ordered an appetizer and cashew chicken with egg roll and fried rice. The egg roll was pretty good, but from there it was mostly downhill. The appetizer was dry and one of the four pieces was burnt and inedible. Moving on to the cashew chicken, when I've ordered this other places the chicken meat is usually cubed up and cooked with the cashews and some vegetables in a sauce so the chicken absorbs the cashew flavor. China King's version of this dish instead has these breaded and pre-fried wads of chicken heated up with some vegetables, cashews and a little thin sauce - quite skimpy on the sauce so everything sitting on top was dry. Breading the chicken keeps it from absorbing the taste of anything but breading and I also wondered if the chicken had been frozen before it was pre-cooked, because it tasted pretty bland and blah. The vegetables were good and I liked that they used a variety of vegetables instead of just a pile of broccoli, but the chicken ruined the dish. The fried rice...well I'm not really sure how you mess up fried rice, but again this was about the most bland fried rice I ever ate and an odd color also (sort of a bright orange yellow). I am not a fan of spicy hot Szechuan or weird flavor combinations or anything, I just want regular old Chinese that tastes like Chinese and not like burned crust or wads of leftover frozen chicken fingers. Probably won't order from here again as it's well below the flavor quality of even a Panda Express mall food outlet. read more

Prices are very cheap. Food is pretty decent. I've had no problems with it. It's not the best chinese food but you get what you pay for i guess. I've ordered here a few times. Will probably be ordering again in the future. Good place to order from when on a budget. They take an hour or more to delver the food even though they are down the street from me. Spent $17 and when my food arrived an hour later I dug into my kung pao chicken. I can't even describe how disappointing it was. Threw that out. Moved to my fried rice which takes like something out of a box or frozen maybe, can't even call it fried rice. Finally the egg drop wonton was like eating salty jello. Went for lunch with a friend and were immediately concerned when the non-Chinese owner greeted us. I wondered if this was really going to be Chinese. Our fears were allayed by the Chinese cook who took our orders. The lunch special are under $6 and include egg roll or soup. My Kung Pao chicken was small pieces of chicken breaded and fried to a crisp. Not much flavor. The vegetables and rice were OK. My friend's chicken and broccoli was a bit better. The dining room is dingy and did not seem very clean. We didn't get sick, if that is faint praise. An exterminator came by our table with his bug killer, so I guess that is good too. This is definitely a "get what you pay for" place. Even the Chinese mustard and soy sauce packets were of low quality. I don't think we will be going back. This food reminds me of the Chinese food places back in Los Angeles where I'm from. It's family style food that is plentiful. There are some things that are misses, like the Egg Drop Soup, but the food is always fresh (to the point of searing hot at times) and for the price, it's reasonable. Their lo main is good and their egg foo young is pretty spot on with good brown sauce. read more

They are always willing to go the extra mile if we need to place a "special" order and make just about anything we ask for. The worst Chinese food in West Chester. This is a spot that solicits the apartment complex we live in. It's incredibly cheap but remember you pay for what you get! The food is greasy and dry. Most of it is just fried and has little taste. I have ordered from it previously... Get ready to wait. At least an hour. The order that made me vow to never return was when after two hours they still hadn't come and I had to put in my second call. What's worse is we literally live in walking distance. I had already paid online and they gave me another number to call to cancel. Not only did I never get the food I never got my refund!! I tried to follow up but never got a response.
