No, just no. Paid 13.77 for lunch portions and awful quality food. Pork fried rice in the combo was mushy and had 2 pieces of pork. Also, the rice was yellow? general tso chicken was mushy like the rice.. this place has been in business a while, I don't know how they do it with this food. read more

Great Wall Chinese Restaurant - Mushy rice, general tso chicken - Chinese Near Me - Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania

Paid $60 plus tip for our food. When it arrived and we started eating, everything had a funky taste. Either tasted like cardboard or burnt. Dumplings had a weird taste as well as the rice and general tso chicken. read more

Have been going here for over 7 years. Have always loved it, but this time something was different. The food was not as fresh and was all overcooked. They had the best Chinese in the area. The staff were all different too. I'm thinking they changed ownership, shame. read more

Walked in there with a really strong oil smell. The shrimp fried rice was bland. The fried chicken was overcooked, dried and tasteless. It seems like it was preboiled before frying. I will not be coming back. Everything was just bland and for the first time, I just threw everything out. read more

great food consistent quality and a nice menu with lots of dishes. They have an inexpensive lunch menu from 12 to 3. Delivery is quick and I've never had a single issue with them. they are strictly take out or delivery only. Try them and you will be happy you did. read more

Live in the neighborhood so this is my backyard go to Chinese. Seems consistent, I order when I get there and watch them make it. Definitely not fresh ingredients but freshly cooked and tasty. Love their hot and sour soup! Lunch specials are budget priced and a value. Seems consistent and quick. I'm going to try other lunch entrees and see if there's more depth and subtlety in their sauces. read more

Always dependable and good quite good. Owners are helpful and accommodating. Go there at least once a week. Favorite for me is General Pso's chicken and my wife Likes Shrimp with lobster sauce. Several other dishes are quite good too. read more

Great takeout American Chinese place. Their quality, while not sang kee, is better than most. Food is consistently good. They always have it ready in 10-15 min. Excellent beef broccoli, mu shu, and moo goo gai pan. I wish they had chow fun on their menu, but other than that, no complaints! We are thankful for such a great go-to place within a few minutes of our house for those days you don't feel like cooking. Maybe eventually they'll have a Chinese menu? One can dream! read more

Really spicy Singapore Mei Fun. But good, with curry powder and red pepper. General Tso's Tofu had crisp broccoli and was rather sweet. Steamed dumplings were plump, juicy and went fast. We'd definitely go back if in the area. read more

Ordered chicken chow mein and came with chicken and onions only. No other vegetables. All of the items ordered had no flavor at all. A total rip off and needs to be closed or hire an authentic chef! read more

Great Wall Chinese Restaurant - Chicken Chow Mein - Chinese Near Me - Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania

Its ok! Not the greatest chinese food but not the worst either. Its good on a whim. I think im going too stick to Hong Kong in Glenolden

There's a lot to be said about a Chinese take out restaurant that offers consistently good food - Great Wall is one of those restaurants. My family and I have been coming here for years and more recently, I made the trek all the way from Folsom to Great Wall just because I like it that much. The food is reasonably priced (plus includes a list of $5 lunch specials), is presented in generous portions, and is packed with all the good stuff (unlike some other places that give you 90% veggies/rice/other fillers and 10% questionable meats). My favorite here is the shrimp lo mein and the moo shu pork (holy good plum sauce). The owners here are fantastic and courteous. Keep up the good work! read more

My typical go to Chinese take out place. Food is always good and there never any problems with staff, speed of service etc. Love their crab Rangoon read more

Usually go here because my order is always ready in 10 minutes. So basically I can place the order and jump in the car and my food is ready to go. The food is OK but it's the price and speed of service that wins me over. I usually go with the Sweet & Sour Chicken w/ Pork Fried Rice. I like the sweet and sour because I can dip the chicken in the sauce (Chicken comes plain). Chinese Pizza (Scallion pancakes) are also a must. Lunch Specials everyday from 11 AM - 3 PM for $4.95 read more

I ordered from this place requesting $2 of extra shrimp which I ended up finding out was just 2 extra shrimp but I didn't even get those extra shrimp so when I called back the lady became so combative with me that I couldn't speak after a while I had to keep repeating "why are you yelling" good food horrible customer service read more

This became my new favorite Chinese place quickly after I first not only discovered they made steamed dumplings, but that they were also delicious. I've found it so hard to find a Chinese place near me that actually has dumplings. It's been nice to get done work and easily pick up some food! I've tried many other items on the menu and I'm never disappointed. read more

The best Chinese food in the area. I am very selective and in 16 years have never been disappointed with their fresh food, huge portions and friendly service! read more

Making this our go-to for good, fast, too-busy-to-fix-dinner weeknights! Cheerful family-owned takeout solution with easy online or phone ordering. Get adventurous, try their specialties and pass the staple pork-fried rice and egg rolls along to the kiddies. read more

Just make sure if you want brown rice that you check to make sure it's really brown rice and not white rice cooked in something to make it look brown. Irritating to get all the home and find out that these people can't just be up front and say that they don't have brown rice. There's no reason to pawn off crap for gold. The food is decent. read more

Got two takeout combination meals from Great Wall today. One was egg foo young, the other chicken and broccoli. The chicken and broccoli was fine, the vegetable was nicely cooked and this was overall an average meal. The egg foo young was bland, the sauce was poor. Both dishes came with fried rice, which was totally flavorless; it was not seasoned at all. The egg rolls were pre-packaged and had little flavor. This was our first time and last time at this establishment. read more

I have been coming here for years! The food is as good as it can be for a Chinese take out restaurant. Don't expect anything more than that. Very friendly staff. I tend to order the same menu item all the time as I am hooked on it. Boneless spare rib tips with pork fried rice! Get some hot sauce on the side to "kick it up a notch". read more

Came here once before and I enjoyed their shrimp & broccoli. Decided to return today for their lunch special. Was highly disappointed. Noticed one of the cooks in the back sneezing and blowing/picking at her nose. I watched to see if she would wash her hands and she did not. She proceeded to keep working. I told her she needed to wash her hands. She did so, but the fact that I had to tell her to do so, caused them to lose a customer. The shrimps were also not fresh at all this time around. Very mushy. So disappointed because I really enjoyed my first experience. Unfortunately, I won't return. read more

Average Chinese. I've tried a lot of restaurants in the area and I don't normally go to this one. I may give it another shot but there are other places that work around here. read more

i dont understand all the 5 star ratings ..... i went here over the summer and it wasnt anything to write home about. very average, and a little unnerving that the place had no air conditioning and it was one of those over 100 degree days in july. people sweating in or around my food ? no thanks. honestly, if you're looking for baller chinese food, hit up asuka on west chester pike on the outskirts of west chester. best chinese/japanese EVER -- check them out on yelp, not one bad review. their food is bomb. read more
