We visited Ichiban Seafood Buffet in Springfield, PA on January 1st, 2026, to celebrate the New…read moreYear, and it turned out to be a great way to start 2026 with family and good food. The restaurant was busy due to the holiday, but the staff managed everything well and kept the buffet running smoothly. The buffet offered a wide variety of options, especially for seafood lovers. We really enjoyed the crab legs, which were refilled frequently and tasted fresh. The shrimp dishes--including fried shrimp and garlic shrimp--were flavorful and well cooked. There was also a good selection of fish, mussels, clams, and seafood stir-fry, which made the seafood section the highlight of the meal. In addition to seafood, Ichiban had plenty of Asian and American-style dishes. The hibachi grill was popular, allowing you to choose fresh ingredients like chicken, beef, shrimp, and vegetables cooked right in front of you. Sushi lovers will appreciate the sushi and sashimi selection, which included rolls, nigiri, and fresh fish options. The Chinese classics such as General Tso's chicken, lo mein, fried rice, and dumplings were tasty and comforting. Dessert options included cakes, cookies, fruit, and ice cream, which were perfect for ending the meal. Overall, the food quality, variety, and festive atmosphere made our New Year's Day visit enjoyable. Ichiban Seafood Buffet is a solid choice if you're looking for variety, generous portions, and a satisfying buffet experience. We would definitely visit again, especially for special occasions.

I brought my daughter here because she really likes the fact that Buffetts allow her to have so many different items to choose from. If you want to be a pro, get your hibachi plate filled up with your goodies then hand it over to the man to cook, when he's all done and gives it back to you take it over to your table and leave it there (it's 1000 and needs to cool) go grab your buffet favorites and then return to your table, have you buffet food then your perfectly hot but not melt you face hibachi plate. They are really good at accommodating larger groups, the sports teams I coach usually stop in here at the end of the Season.

I chose medium and it wasn't too spicy at all. My son had beef and broccoli and my husband the chicken and broccoli. It was tasty after a long day of traveling. If we are ever in the area again, I'd order from this location again. We also had the steamed dumplings and house egg rolls which were also delicious. It arrived piping hot which was a bonus as you never know from Grubhub.

Decent takeout with interesting sauces. We tried this…read morerecently since it was on the way back from shopping. We sampled the following: Steamed pork dumplings - pretty standard with a good amount of meat. Szechuan dumplings - flat dumplings with a peanut sauce, mildly spicy. My wife really liked this. We combined the rest of the other dumplings with this sauce and it went well together. Moo shu chicken - Again, your standard takeout with a good amount of sauce. Chow fun shrimp noodles - good amount of medium size shrimp with tasty noodles and sauce. Singapore Mei Fun - It was OK, a little greasy. Shrimp, Chicken, Pork and Vegetables. You can specify the heat if you order online. Walnut Shrimp - Good size shrimp with walnuts and broccoli with sauce. Tasty. I walked into the wrong restaurant when I got here, there's a sandwich and beer shop next door. I thought the menu looked off! But at least I found yet another place for takeout. Return: Maybe. That Szechuan dumpling sauce was good.
