This is our go-to takeout place! Prices are reasonable, and it always satisfies my cravings. Service is always very quick and no-frills. We typically order combo dinners (comes with rice and spring roll) and a large wonton soup to share. Our favorite entrees are the general tso chicken and the chicken chow mein. They give out tons of fried wonton strips with the wonton soup. Ambiance is a typical takeout counter- not really an eat-in type of place. Ordering through the website was a little confusing the first time because the only was to indicate that I was scheduling takeout for a later time was through the comment box. The confirmation will still say your order will be ready at XYZ time, even if it's different from the pickup time you specified in the comments. Customer service sucks!! Not sure if it's just towards African Americans but the 2 times I've been in there she's been really nasty! Great take out, reasonably priced for the location in a highly desirable and walkable town. They also have Japanese food at the very end of the online menu, and it's decent! They use prime steak for their beef offerings. And give you the option to comment on your choices if you have dietary needs or allergies. We use this and they have always met our requests. So far no mistakes either, after 6+ orders. Portions are larger than the more fancy eat in Chinese/Japanese/Dim sum restaurants in town. read more

I knew I shouldn't have ordered out during self-isolation, but I never expected to find a dead fly in the soy sauce for my dumplings - especially when I was on my last dumpling. Absolutely disgusted. I had some issues with the food here since the new owners took over. I gave it another shot and was really pleased. I had the large wonton soup that was absolutely delicious with plenty of won tons. The combo plate with beef and string beans was even better. The sauce was excellent. Veggies were plentiful and crisp. The beef was meaty and not all fat.. could use a bit more beef in the portion but, still very good. The pork fried rice seemed a bit dry but, after the sauce was added, delish. I loved the egg roll. It wasn't too greasy and was filled with veggies. All in all I was very satisfied. Condiments were lacking in my order. Only one little packet of soy sauce was provided. As far as takeout/delivery Chinese goes, this place is by far the best in the area. I generally don't like fried rice (usually bland with nubs of overlooked pork) but theirs is to die for. This is easily the worst of the Chinese food restaurant in Media Pa. Not only is their food inferior to super wok and jing fong but they also have the worst service of them all. I waited over an hour IN THE STORE after I was told my order would be ready. I watched as people who came in after me continued to leave before me. Whenever I asked about my order I was told "5 minutes" (which wasn't the case any of the times so I stopped asking). The lady behind the counter is the definition of a bitch and I would never hire her in a store of my own. If you really want a shitty meal that's not worth the money go eat mud off the street it will definitely save you money, time, pure anger that is present when ordering from Yangtze Inn. Disappointment. My husband and I ordered shrimp fried rice and orange chicken and shrimp chow fun (rice noodles) minus the fun. Literally no flavor..I had to add salt to my dish and was looking in the fridge to see if I had some stir fry sauce. My husbands chicken was mostly breading. This was a sad dinner. Ok place for quick, Chinese takout. We were first timers here and weren't exactly sure about the location. It's basically a takeout spot. Fried dumplings were good. Our test dishes for a new place are Kung Pao chicken, the Chinese-American General Tso's chicken, and pork lo mein. Of the three, the lomein was the best although it could have used a bit more veg. The Tso's was good but a little too sweet, but had a nice spicy bite with a good batter to meat ratio. The Kung Pao was ok, could have been spicier, and had larger chunks of veg than what we are used to. The order came with the requisite fried noodles, tea bags, and fortune cookies plus a container of what was some cabbage product - kim chee maybe- I didn't try it. Great quality food, friendly staff, reasonable prices, and a 3 minute walk from my house. The food is your standard Chinese take out menu, but the quality is very good; I always order chicken and garlic sauce at a new restaurant, and this is the first that didn't send me into a diabetic shock. The veggies were julienned to maximize crunchiness while being cooked thoroughly, which is a great change from the soggy overly blanched sad broccoli I'm used to. My husband raved about the won ton soup; the noodles were very soft and the pork meatballs inside were very fresh and flavorful. The general chicken lacked a spicy punch and the pieces were way too large in comparison to the rice side. The taste was good, though. I like more crusty surface area personally. The duck entree was awful. It was riddled with tiny bones to the point we had to toss it away to reduce the chocking hazard. The crab Rangoon app was fair. The taste was fine, but the dough was overbearing compared to the actual middle Rangoon. Never again...I have heard over the years that this place was really good but then I just read that they changed hands. I decided to go and I got vegetable dumplings I took one bite they were absolutely inedible I don't know what was in them it look like fuzz with some specs of vegetables. They apparently sell sushi now also so I decided to try a cucumber avocado roll even that was really bad I ate three pieces and did not finish it. I did buy my son shrimp fried rice and I was so hungry that I ate his rice because I could not eat my own platter. I can say that the shrimp fried rice was not too bad. This is a cheap, fast Chinese food place and it's good for exactly that kind of food. I had the shrimp lo mein, the veggie egg roll, and a mocha coffee. The egg rolls are honestly a little more oily than I expected but it was still good. The shrimp lo mein was good. The coffee was well-refrigerated and tasted good. This place is my favorite in Media for Chinese. I usually stick to chicken and broccoli (I know I'm SO adventurous!) but the boyfriend likes the szecheun beef or general tsos. The won ton soup is also pretty good. They have the typical Chinese "combination platter" (white/fried rice, egg roll, entree) part of the menu which I like, but be prepared for tons of food. If I feel like eating a little healthier, I order my meal steamed (comes with white rice and side dipping sauce). However they lack customer service, for example they forgot items on our order and wanted to argue about how it was our fault that OUR food didn't arrive complaining about how she heard the order wrong.
