This place is right by my house and I drive by all the time so I stopped in today. What a huge disappointment! Crab Rangoon is ok, not great. Vegetable lo mein has absolutely zero taste!! Tastes like boiled spaghetti with a shred or two of slivered carrot. I ordered the Mongolian beef to be a bit light on spice. What I got instead was Mongolian beef that looked a little gray, was slightly slimy and had tasted like stale air. Total waste of money and I should have kept driving by. read more

I went last week and ordered General Tso's Chicken and Chicken fried rice for pick-up. Due to COVID-19, they have a table blocking the front door, so you have to wait outside to pick up your order. The dishes I ordered tasted great. The General Tso's Chicken was cooked to perfection. The chicken was warm and there was just the right amount of sauce layering the chicken. The fried rice was great too. Often times fried rice can be dry, but Super Wok cooks it in a way so the rice is slightly moist. They give you a lot of chicken and vegetables in the dish, so I was pleased. read more

I've never dined in so I can't comment on that experience but we do drive from Willistown to Media for take out! That's like 25 minutes (each way) for Chinese food! This place is the BEST around!! The pork fried dumplings are a fave, along with "chicken on a stick!" Granted, we've ordered most the menu and you can't go wrong with anything! The flavors are perfect and always hit the spot. The portions are generous and filling and the price is perfect and they've never gotten an order wrong! Put this on your list, for sure!!! And be prepared to share because there's plenty. Just decided to try a new place through Grubhub. Well, new to me at least. Really glad I found this place. It's one of those places where you can tell they take some pride in taste. I sampled the shrimp roll, Dragon and Phoenix, and veggie fried rice. Everything had excellent flavor and texture. Really sub-par. Cold, greasy and tastes like a factory churned it out. The rice is so unnaturally coloured and flavoured as to be inedible. It's Monday night so our usual Chinese take out is closed. We thought we would try Super Wok based on the reviews. Big mistake. The bean curd family style was fried to almost the point of incineration. It's look and taste resembled exceedingly dried out, deep fried kitchen sponge. My husband had the boneless rib combo. The boneless pork ribs were on Par with dried out jerky. Sadly, after attempting to eat what was purchased we tossed it into the trash. A definite waste of $25. read more

The only thing I am impressed by is the crispiness of the fried food, but everything tasted like the bastard child of shrimp, pork, beef, and chicken, which means they use the same OLD grease to fry everything, especially the fishyness in the pork fried rice. The broth in the soup is very bland. The delivery guy... excuse me... the delivery child (no more than 6) didn't have my credit card slip for me to sign, despite seeing the charge on my card... December 7th 2018 When I first came to South Philly I asked the locals about a Chinese restaurant and I tried their chicken, ribs and beef and all three taste the same. To say the least, very disappointing. I've had Dim Sum in Center City and now I'm in Media. Another place owned by a Chinese couple, soul food fried fish, yams, greens and cornbread helped me gain 25 lbs. Along with the Philly hoagies. I've eaten a lot of Chinese food and I must say I was impressed with the Lemon Chicken with added chicken. Not to lemony and the consistency of the lemon sauce had a soft but dense texture. I loved dipping the chicken in the lemon sauce and pouring the sauce over the chicken in the container with the cabbage. Never had this before. I've gone to Chinatown in San Francisco and Los Angeles and did not expect to find a meal this good in Media. Well done! I also bought a large Chicken Fried Rice and the taste and scent favor the high intensity of heat a wok distributes differently than pan or skillet. The onions, peas, carrots and turmeric has a nice balance. The chicken breast is succulent. They must know how to treat the chicken before adding it to the stir fry. Great job! Additionally the large BBQ Spare Ribs are delicious. Not too sweet. The BBQ has a faint smoke taste and aroma. The meat is of high quality. I don't know. Best thing about this order, the egg roll or duck sauce packet. Simply put! There is no flavor to anything else I ordered and doesn't feel at all like authentic local American Chinese food. Chicken and broccoli D-, beef lo mein D-, wonton soup E. The wonton is a staple and usually hard to screw up but when you use crap ingredients, you'll screw it up. Can't even say it is broth, the flavor is off even with soy sauce to tryin help. The wonton, like a pierogi. not appetizing at all. Lo mein, straight spaghetti noodles and some beef. veggies are none existent. awful. Chicken and broccoli, it just lacked any flavor. you knew you were eating a piece of broccoli but it tastes like the potato and or chicken. nothing in this order was worth the money or the gas it took to pick it up. I had lunch here a few days ago. I ordered one of the lunch specials: shrimp in garlic sauce with rice and egg roll. I also ordered some fresh watermelon. The garlic sauce was excellent but the shrimp had a very awful chemical taste. They forgot my watermelon but were very quick to bring it and it was a hardy serving. I gave the egg roll to my friend who said it was excellent. I'd go again for that garlic sauce but pass on the shrimp. Pretty good fast food. There are only 2 tables. It's more of a take out restaurant than a sit down. There was no air conditioning the day I was there. The front door was propped open. read more

I've been searching for good Chinese food in the Delaware county area for months. SuperWok is exactly what I've been looking for. Good food, reasonably priced and quick delivery. They deliver pretty far as I'm 20 minutes away from the restaurant (highway time). I'll order from them every time. Negatives: I ordered take out from this place tonight and it took over an hour to get to me. I was worried they didn't get the address right because the woman on the phone was hardly paying attention and was yelling at her child in the background (VERY loudly) while speaking with me on the phone. Once my food finally got here, it was a tad over-salted for my taste. Positives: the delivery man was very friendly. I ordered chicken and broccoli (large) and it was a TON of food for the price I paid. I'll have leftovers for days. Aside from the dish being slightly over-salted, it was piping hot when it finally got to me (over an hour after I ordered), so I knew it was fresh. First of all noticed the open kitchen and how clean it was. You can watch the whole process. Food was excellent. The general tsos was spicy and hot. The best garlic sauce I have ever had anywhere. I saw ribs cooking on the grill (not deep fried like other places) and noticed they made the soups fresh when they were ordered. No soup was premade. All in all a great meal. Not sure why this place got such good reviews. Maybe I'm too picky because I'm chinese but even I love a good take out and this was not it. Had the beef mei fun, chicken with broccoli, dumplings, and hot sour soup. Everything was too salty, dumplings were literally too gummy and I was overloaded by the sheer greasiness of it all. The nice thing about the place is that you can order either a small or large size version of mostly whatever on the menu so you don't feel like you have to commit to any one dish. Ordered off Grubhub. Food was great. Quick delivery (10 minutes short of Grubhub's estimation). Order was correct and tastey. Food actually had flavor without being excessively salty. Everything was labeled and the delivery guy was really nice and found the place no problem. Definitely my new chinese takeout/delivery place. I dont know why there are bad reviews about this place. It's the best chinese takeout/delivery place in the area. Trust me, I tried a bunch of em. It's by far not the closest one, I'm glad they actually deliver to my apartment. Very meh. My partner raved about it and i felt it was good, just not great. Pork with chinese vegetables had very little pork and tons of vegetables. Same with the pork fried rice, it was lacking meat. Scallion pancake was meh and the pork dumplings were dry and undercooked.
