1 Star Very…read moredisappointing and concerning experience. I went to Rayaki Ramen in Media tonight expecting to enjoy dinner, but while eating my meal, I discovered what appeared to be a roach in my food. What made the experience even more concerning was that I also witnessed what appeared to be Raid/roach spray being used around the kitchen area while customers were actively eating in the restaurant. Finding an insect in my food is extremely disturbing, and seeing pest-control spray being used in an area near food preparation while customers were dining raised serious concerns about sanitation and food-safety practices. I hope management takes this complaint seriously, investigates what happened, and addresses these concerns immediately. Customers should be able to enjoy their meals without having to worry about pests or questionable sanitation practices.

There is such a wide variety of foods!! I usually only eat 2 plates at buffets, and I am done. I had 6!! Omg! I couldn't stop going back for more! That's the most I've ever eaten! Next time, I want to try more things, because there were so many options! There were very few things I wasn't a fan off, but it's up to preference. I cleared almost everything on all of my plates. I cant wait to go again!! You know it's good food when you're in the middle of eating it, and are you are already planning the next time you're coming back. I missed it before I even finished eating it. They have the options of hotpot, buffet, and ramen! You can do more than one too! 100/10! Exceeded my expectations! It's so clean there, and has good/fast service. They were very good with taking the plates and not letting it pile up, and were very quick with getting drinks.

Portions are huge, even their mini portions, and prices are mostly fair in my opinion. The food tastes amazing! The interior is clean and spacious, and our service was really good as well. I will be back for sure.

The ones we had in Hawaii had a spicy kick at the end. These were comparably good. One flavor all around. No spicy after kick. The Kalua Pork and Cabbage was spicier than what we had at Hawaii. It actually tasted better. They added ginger and it was spicy. I liked the Taiwanese cabbage better than what we had in Hawaii, which was regular cabbage. The ribeye steak ramen was good as well. It makes me want to try the rib eye entree. I like the black pepper flavor. I took the steak out as soon as it served, so it would not cook anymore in the broth. I was impressed that they made it medium rare. The chicken broth was not too salty, which it can be in other places, so I was pleased that it wasn't. The menma bamboo was crunchy. Many places have it too soft. The black seaweed/wood ear like topping was also crunchy. The wavy ramen noodles were perfectly QQ or all dente. There were two doors to open at the entrance. Handicap accessible. No steps. Two gender neutral restrooms. Spacious. Handicap accessible. We found street parking right out front. We came at 7 PM on a Monday after the dinner rush. Our server was very attentive. He also answered all my questions. I asked it they were Pulehu Ribs. When he did not know, he went to ask his colleague. I would come back for the same dishes, get a bigger order of the short ribs, and try the garlic shrimp. Definitely a new staple for us. Before going to Hawaii, we never had Hawaiian food before. I visited on a Wednesday night around 7:30ish and the place only had a few parties. I was immediately seated and place an order. I opted for a sushi roll and a boba drink. I wasn't super hungry, so I didn't want to order too much or anything too big. I ended up with the Zesty Roll, which I really enjoyed. I really enjoyed the dining experience. I didn't really find anything wrong. Coming from California, the prices in my opinion was really reasonable. The menu was kind of diverse, so... if ramen isn't your thing, there's definitely other things you can eat. Sushi. Rice plates. Skewers. Appetizers. Etc. Overall, had a great experience. The restaurant itself is pretty cool. Lots of anime-themed stuff. One thing that I didn't know about, was that they have a dessert bar for dine-in customers. Some jello, some fruits, and some small-sized baked goods for desserts. Easily 4 stars out of 5. Going to go ahead and round up to 5. I would recommend this restaurant to others. Overall solid experience. Some would debate good, but not great, and I would agree.

The different favors are the icings that are only on the top so you can appreciate the mochi experience, donut crispiness, and the sweet flavor of your chosen icing. It's all in the right proportions too. The bubble donut shape makes it easy to share. You just pull apart the donut bubbles. No mess and lots of yummy goodness. The person waiting on us was very friendly and patient with us trying to figure out which flavors to go with. Honestly, any flavor there is a good flavor. Some of them even come with an iced cookie stick similar to a Pocky. The place is a small donut shop with a few round deuce tables you can sit at. We just did a take out order and brought our donuts home. These flavors are delish: Oreo, Mango, Matcha, Raspberry, Taro, Salted Caramel. We bought 1/2 dozen for $16.99. A bit pricey but so worth it. Our family of 5 ate pulled apart these donuts. They're filling and we didn't even finish them yet. Mochi donuts are not like regular donuts. Try them. You will LOVE it!!

The edamame was standard, and the takoyaki and pan-fried dumplings didn't taste homemade. Rather they both reminded me of what you would pick up at the frozen section at the food market. Nevertheless, they were passable. After all, we were here for the ramen. I opted in for their Terakawa special. The broth was flavourful, and the chashu was the most tender and juicy chashu I've ever had. As for the girlfriend, she opted in for their spicy ramen which was also spectacular. I absolutely loved her wavy noodles. I would have loved to have swapped out my straight noodles for her wavy noodles. They have a nice bounce and slightly chewy texture. Their marinated eggs were to die for. We put in a few extra orders for these. Overall, a great experience. The staff seemed to be right on the ball, and this small and cozy restaurant definitely makes you feel transported to Japan.
