This cute Thai/Japanese spot looks small on the outside but has lots of seating! They serve some delicious food! We got the Miso soup (very flavorful and comforting), Drunken noodles, and Bangkok Fried Rice. Everything was delicious! Also got the classic Thai Iced Tea (not too sweet, just the way I like) and tried their Fried Banana with Dulce de Leche (forgot to take a picture of this!). The Fried bananas were bomb! I will definitely be getting that again! Service was amazing, the staff answered our questions regarding the menu. Definitely should try this spot! read more

First off, like other reviewers, I was nervous at a multi Asian restaurant. Came for Thai food so that's what I had. The tom yum soup was very good. Spice level at your request and it was good. Not too sour and not too salty. Flavor was balanced. The pad Thai was also good. Small deduction for the protein was drier than normal but huge portion to dine in. Service is a perfect balance of attentiveness. Got my order in quick and food came out quick. The restaurant was clean and no weird smell. No sticky floors or tables. They have a large take out business but that does not affect the service nor the quality of dining in. Come give it a try read more

Hadn't been to Heng's in a few years - and again it's good but not mind blowing. Thom Ka soup is always good and my friends enjoyed the Pad Thai. I had a salmon dish - very good. Service was a bit aloof. One guy clearly does not love his job. we tried to be smiley and friendly but he never warmed up to us. Meanwhile - the only decent Thai food in this area. read more

Food is fresh . Service is absolutely nice friendly and helpful with question about food. We like the inside , clean and comfortable There can be a big line with people waiting to be seated, no one rush you . No one bothers you every second, you can enjoy with your wife a wonderful time read more

Came here for a light dinner shortly after arriving in the area. It wasn't very busy, perhaps because it was Halloween, so we were seated immediately and perused the menu. I'm always a little leery of Asian restaurants that span multiple cuisines, but rarely have I actually been disappointed. We ended up with just a few dishes today: Yellowtail maki - nice, large chunks of fish, not the small shreds that we sometimes get. The fish wasn't terribly flavorful but it was a clean taste. Chicken pad thai - pretty generous-sized dish that was just right for the three of us. This was okay, but was just a little too greasy for our taste. Kanom bueng with shrimp - this is a filled crepe similar to what we've gotten in Vietnamese restaurants. This was pretty good, but again was cooked with just a tad too much oil. It was a little difficult to eat because it fell apart very easily. Service was friendly and prices were reasonable. Overall not a bad experience, but there's certainly some room for improvement. read more

This is an adorable restaurant in Springfield located in the shopping complex with Outback on Baltimore Pike. It's definitely a lovely spot to dine. The food is as delightful as the ambiance. Super fresh, healthy and large portions. They offer Thai and Japanese choices. What I Ordered: (It was a shrimp kinda day lol) Shrimp Tempura - Decent sushi roll. (4/5) Shrimp in Shell - The name says it all lol. Very nice crunch to the shell wrapped around the shrimp. (5/5) Thai Iced Coffee - (4/5) Bangkok Fried Rice - Pineapple fried rice with shrimp, egg, mixed vegetables and cashew nuts. (5/5) Tango Shrimp - Shrimp, onion and bell peppers in a savory garlic sauce. Level 2 heat (5/5) The service was A1 as well. I will definitely return and I definitely recommend you try it if you're in the mood for authentic Thai cuisine. I promise they have more than shrimp dishes lol. Cheers! read more

Our most favourite restaurant! Everything they serve is special! And beautifully served. I love their duck and my lady loves their avocado/salmon salad. Start with gyoza or shrimp. Finish with fried banana and you will go home happy! read more

A really great place with food for a variety of tastes. Both traditional Thai dishes and innovative specialties are well prepared and fresh. In my group of friends there are those who like wildly spicy food and those who prefer a more delicate, mild flavor , and both are satisfied. Don't ask for 4 or 5 star unless you mean it. The meat salads are wonderful. The soups and curries are delicious. I've never had the sushi so I can't speak to that. It is a lovely place for eat in, but we are often lazy and eat at home. read more

The padthai was not good--too sweet, bangkok fried rice is pretty good, 7th haven is okay but not the best. Has big portions. Only one server. read more

We were a party of 7. Showed up at 4:30 without reservations. Everyone enjoyed their meals. One of our party was vegan. They made the broccoli with garlic dish vegan. My grandson enjoyed the chicken satay. I had panang curry. Delicious. Levels of spice were customized. Service was fine, friendly. read more

Heng's Thai is a favorite when we have a small get-together and do carry-out; we usually order: +Massaman Curry - peanut red curry with coconut milk, potatoes, onions, and bell peppers; we have opted for pork, but you can choose chicken, beef, shrimp, duck, or veggie & tofu; this thick, creamy curry is so delicious and savory! It's probably one of the best massaman curries we've had - YUM! +Thai Fried Rice - you can choose chicken, pork, beef, shrimp, or veggie & tofu; the veggie & tofu option is delicious, with crisply blanched veggies; the rice is flavorful and has a great stir-fried taste! +Lobster Roll - lobster tempura with cucumbers, lettuce, and spicy mayo +Spicy Tuna Roll +Spicy Sea Scallop Roll +Spicy Salmon Roll +Lady in Red Roll - with chopped tuna, cucumbers, avocado, and topped with tuna The Thai dishes are delicious, and the rolls here are fresh - the amount of fish and veggies used are generous! Great small business to support! +Massaman Curry! +Thai Fried Rice - veggie & tofu option +good rolls read more

Was pleasantly surprised. Came here for lunch with my friend as she recommended it and it was close to us. We ordered some thai dumplings as an appetizer, I had the pad thai (spicy), and she ordered a few sushi rolls. My pad thai was so delicious and so large. I ordered it spicy and boy did it come spicy! So glad, because most places wouldn't make it right. The dumplings were different. It had peanuts and a bit on the sweeter side. It was ok, but I don't see myself ordering it again. The skin itself was a bit too soft for my liking. The sushi was actually pretty good and tasted fresh. Service - was on the slow side, but I think it's because of lack of employees. There was only one server that was seating, cleaning, taking phones, etc. Thats ok though. I get that in this economy, it's tough. I will surely be back to order/try more items. read more

I was in the area for business and decided to pickup some takeout. I was in the mood for Thai and gave this place a try. I had the drunken noodles with chicken, level 2 spice. The levels go from 1-5, with 5 being the spiciest. The gentleman explained level 2 is good. The noodles were delicious with the perfect amount of spice. I also had an egg roll that came with a sweet Thai sauce. It was very good and it wasn't fried too greasy. I'd recommend! read more

Super cute restaurant... Flavorful fresh thai food.. coconut milk soup and ginger chicken. I was so impressed with the size of the dish that I received it was no lunch size... I ended up taking the leftovers back to my hotel and ask for extra rice and had dinner. They also had Japanese dishes and Sushi which I did appear over to other people's tables and their food looked just as delicious. read more

Sunday. Front door partially blocking entry. People step around it because we don't see anybody working. And yet there are about eight of 20 tables with people dining at them. I grabbed a menu and sat myself after waiting for someone to see me. In the next 5 minutes 3 others did the same. I get my food and the Phone is ringing off the hook disturbing my dining experience. A couple who left mentioned the same. Sadly this is not a new thing. It's happened to me a few times in the last two or three years. Its become normal and not due to Covid. There are approx 20 tables and usually only 2 People on who are expected to serve people who are dining in, serve the takeout crowd, clean up and answer the phone. Finally, I had to find someone to pay my check. No one checked on me while I was eating my meal. Owner : You need more than 2 people working this restaurant read more

Delicious Thai food! The portion sizes are generous and the entrees are packed with flavor. I ordered the Penang Curry which was the most creamy and flavorful curry I've had in a while! Lots of veggies and meat in there. Pairs perfectly with rice. Their sushi options are pretty decent as well. I'm always skeptical when an Asian restaurant coincidentally adds in a sushi bar but it was pretty good quality. -1 star for the prices. It looks like the prices on the website are outdated. Some menu items went from $16 to $20 for an entree, which is pretty steep for Thai food. The interior is clean and nicely decorated. The layout is a mix of booth/table seating which keeps the environment quite cozy. Overall a really great option for lunch or dinner if you're in the mood for Thai food! read more

What I enjoyed each visit is the peacefulness and serenity of this restaurant. The food is always light and delicious. The employees are polite and friendly but never overpowering. They don't come up and ask how you are or if you're "all right" which is so annoying to me if I am in conversation or just enjoying my food! read more

Horrible. I came in as a single White female, and they did not want to seat me. It was plainly obvious. I had just driven 400 miles and was too tired to go somewhere else. After catering to couples and take-out orders, I was finally seated. Neither worker ever greeted me, asked me if I was ready, offered me a drink, or presented my check. I had to flag them down for everything. When I left, there were three customers up front. Not sure why. I found the food mediocre, at best. I clearly stated to the cashier that I planned on leaving 20% but because I had been treated so disrespectfully, I changed my mind. He just laughed. Weird. I haven't had an experience like that in YEARS. DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

We had the pleasure of eating here . The food, service and staff were all excellent. The place was very clean. They had many great options and the portions were generous. You can select your spice level 2 was fairly spicy. 3 was good if you like it hotter. 4 and 5 if you're a pepper head! My wife had the Drunken noodles and i had the 7th heaven, both were amazing very fresh and not overcooked. We also shared an edamame. appetizer also excellent. i believe they also a BYOB restaurant if you care to induldge, The prices were very good. $39 plus tip . We went there yesterday to have dinner. It was interesting as it felt like the owner and sushi chef was a Chinese, and they were serving Thai, Japanese and Chinese food. We ordered Thai soup with tofu and for the entrees we ordered tofu in garlic and basil and tofu in Penang curry. The Penang curry was so so, but the basil tofu was killer. They served us with generous portions of brown rice. The staff members were attentive but very busy. It felt like it was a well run place. I might be back some day to fill my cravings again. read more

It's not what it used to be in 2000's to my palate. I ordered the lobster roll with panang red curry and tom yum soup. The lobster rolls lack flavor, and the soup and curry lack punch and zest. It is good but not bomb. Customer service is friendly and interior is calm. read more

I am a fan of good Thai food. By no means do I consider myself a connoisseur. Just able to know what I like and don't like. After my recent experience with a meal from Heng's Thai, I can honestly say there was nothing I did not like. I had green curry with chicken at level 3 heat. OOOH SO GOOD. we came on Valentine's Day and didn't have a reservation. The host/server waited and worked us in within an hour. It was so COVID safe with how the tables were spread out and all other precautions taken. I felt comfortable dining with my partner. I started with the miso soup which was hearty, literally the best miso soup I've had. My partner started with a Philly roll which they loved. My partner's main order was the chicken pad Thai. A big portion and they loved it. I ordered 3 sushi rolls: Philly, and the 2 spicy crunchy. Everything was so delicious. The staff was attentive. I cannot wait to come back! read more

Taste fresh and delicious. Service was great too! Will be back for sure.

Ordered take out from there several nights ago. Ordered for five. One Shrimp Pad Thai, One Vegetable and Tofu Pad Thai, the Seven and Seven Special, the Pad Si -eew with chicken, the Nuts to You dish, Steamed Dumplings, an Egg Roll and a chicken Satay. I didn't get feedback from everyone but they seemed pleased. I was happy with the Tofu Pad Thai but couldn't finish it after the massive egg roll which was 3 to 4 times the size of a normal one! Definitely go to place from now on. One thing I noticed is there doesn't seem to be a lot of seating so make reservations or get there early. read more

A staple in our family. Love the drunken noodles, the pad Thai, the sushi sashimi platter... mmmmmmmmmmm

I agree with one of the below reviews that while this is not THE best Thai I've ever had, it's the best I've found in the area. One thing that has been disappointing as of late is that the quality of the Pad Thai I've received has fluctuated on recent orders, but when it's good, it's very flavorful. Overall, it's my go-to spot. :-) read more
