    Mango sticky rice
    Lee L.

Food is good for 4 stars, but I'm bumping up to 5 for the lovely customer service and attitude. We across the country to watch stage production that our kid helped to produce. Before the show we had just enough time to find a place to eat near our hotel in Media. We hadn't had Thai food for a while so we picked this place. We arrived in the early evening and the restaurant was mostly empty, which can be a bad sign but we saw a small array of food delivery bags waiting for their couriers. We decided to go ahead and give it a try. We were greeted warmly and water arrived at our table shortly after we were seated. After a few minutes, our server (who we think is also one of the owners) came to take our order. She was a funny woman who sort of treated us like her children, assuring that we surely could handle the level of spice in the dishes if she didn't have a problem with it. We placed our order, with her giving us her verbal approval of our selections. It gave us a peculiar sense of validation - it seems like we didn't make any Thai food faux pas, such as requesting a side of fries with our curry. Papaya salad - we always hesitate when we see this on the menu, because while we really like papaya salad we've been disappointed at some restaurants. We were quite happy with this rendition. It was a generous portion of crisp shredded papaya with several large shrimp flavored with a lime dressing and topped with crushed peanuts. Very delicious Thai eggplant - served with bell pepper, carrot, and onions in a garlic sauce. Pretty good. Green curry with chicken - the star of meal tonight. The curry flavor was excellent and there was a good amount chicken and fresh vegetables. I was tempted to ask for another scoop of rice to finish off every last bit of the sauce. Mango sticky rice dessert - I've seen this on menus before but had never tried it. The rice was just lightly sweetened and there was generous amount of diced mango on top. The mango wasn't quite as sweet as it might be during the peak of the season, but this was still an excellent way to end the meal. As mentioned above, the service was really nice. When an older gentleman brought out the curry (we think he was both the cook and another owner), he told us that this was his favorite dish and he ate it every day, and he really hoped that we liked it. It was so charming, so genuine - and indeed, it was an excellent dish.

Basil Duck and Panang Curry with Chicken

Wife and I got there on a chilly Saturday, early evening. Best duck on State Rd! Wonderfully crispy and light skin yet the meat itself was nice and tender. Panang curry with chicken was also really good. If I have to nitpick, I'd say a tad too heavy on the coconut milk but it didn't taste bad by any means, just not what I'm used to. We also got spring rolls, which was a little heavy on the black pepper (not sure if it's the oil or the spring rolls themselves) The decor is a little strong and outdated but the great food more than makes up for it! Service was great, best Thai place in the area.

    Beef pad see ew

My daughter and I stopped for dinner while visiting a nearby college. We really enjoyed the food! We ordered the tom kha soup, pad see ew with beef, and chicken satay. The staff are kind and courteous. I eat Thai food pretty regularly and this was very satisfying. The tom kha soup was a little creamier than I personally prefer but it wasn't so heavy that I didn't want to finish it. Don't miss the chicken satay especially if you're dining in. They come out hot and juicy. The dining tables are clean and neat. I would definitely return if we visit the area again.

    Veggie & Tofu Panang curry

Amazing food! Had the veggie and Tofu Panang and Massaman curry. Great service. Loved the mango with sticky rice! Kudos to the chef! Will go back for sure. The ambiance is as if you are sitting in a local thai restaurant.

    Tofu Drunken Noodle

Best Thai food I've ever had!!!! Came here for my moms birthday and the food was incredible! We started with the veggie gyozas, fried tofu, and veggie spring rolls which were all great. Then we had drunken noodles, panang curry, and chicken pad Thai. All of the reviews said the pad Thai was the best but honestly was my least favorite out of the three dishes we had! Still great the other entrees were just incredible! All of the dishes had a great level of spice. It was also super affordable and our waiter was super attentative and kind! Will definitely be back here!

    Green Curry - chicken

Came because of the good reviews on Yelp and it was as delicious. I got the Tom Kha soup to start and my dad got the creamy Tom Yum. Both were so good. We both loved the crab rangoons. I got the green curry with chicken and my dad got green curry with seafood. The seafood looked really good and a variety of items (scallops, squid, mussels, etc). The Thai iced tea was perfect- not too sweet. I highly recommend!

A new Thai restaurant. The beef salad is terrific and we live the basil chicken. We'll have to try some other things as time goes on.

All the dishes had enough to take home for a second meal. It is all made from scratch and to your desired temperature, regarding spice. The actual restaurant is...quaint. it's small and clean. I don't think it would hold more than 30 ppl. The bathroom is a single and the door didn't lock for me. I just peed and prayed. Lol. Service was OK. Considering we were the only ones in the restaurant, the server seemed like he didn't want to be bothered. Food came out quickly tho. The lemon marscapone cake looked delicious, so I got one to go. Since then, I've been too many times. Food is consistently fresh, quick and delicious! Service is always mid. Try the Thai tea and mango rice... oh and the basil rice. Listen, I could go on, everything is good.

It is a little on the sweet side so some lemon/lime juice is needed for some balance in flavors. I enjoy their chicken curry puffs for appetizers as well. Then again, you can't really go wrong with anything here. The portions are great for the quality you're receiving. They are very generous, aside from being delicious. The restaurant is definitely a hidden gem. Located near Rita's. It's in a very small parking lot. Easy to miss but hard to forget. This was my first visit to this restaurant, so I ordered my go to favorites. Drunken noodles with chicken, and Thai basil fried rice with chicken. I ordered extra chicken with the noodles as I had read another review saying that the dish was "vegetable heavy"...which I didn't find to be the case. I do think I may have been disappointed had I not doubled the chicken, but that's only because the overall portion was big, and there may not have been enough chicken to "balance" the other elements of the dish. My only criticism is this... (And it's significant) I ordered medium spice level, as I like a little "kick"...and these dishes were so hot that they were nearly unbearable to eat! Painful going in...and likely to be painful going out!! I have NEVER had a Thai dish prepared any hotter. EVER! My eyes were watering so much so that I couldn't see, my lips and throat were burning...and I was dripping sweat. To be honest, I kinda wondered if the cook was about to quit... and this was going to be his way of sticking it to the owner! ;) I can't imagine what a "spicy" choice in preparation would have tasted like. Well truthfully...it's likely I wouldn't have been able to taste anything! I'm anything but a wimp when it comes to spicy food. (I travel with packets of hot pepper blend for crying out loud). But the way this was prepared to a "MEDIUM" spice level...was OBSCENELY hot! And it took away of the enjoyment of eating what I'm sure is otherwise really good Thai food. I won't hesitate to return...after I heal...but I will definitely be making some changes to my "heat level" request! Don't say I didn't warn ya!
