Went there tonight for a box dinner. Anyone who is familiar with this restaurant knows what they mean by a box dinner. The shrimp was hard to find in the breading the general sales chicken was so dry I had to take bites of rice just to get it down the sauce was so thick. I love sushi. The California roll pieces of sushi were unrecognizable. And I couldn't find the wasabi! Guess where it was? Under my general sales chicken! My first time ordering from here. I ordered a couple hibachi combos the other day online. I called to make sure they got the order & wanted to know how long it would take. The lady on the other end said 10 mins. WOW! 10 mins for my order? I was surprised. I got to the restaurant & receipt orders for pickup was hung on an easel. I picked my receipt & went to pay. Smooth & easy. Everything was packed nicely & neat. I ordered hibachi chicken, filet mignon, salmon, shrimp, scallops & fried rice. This is only my opinion. I believe they have all of the hibachi food pre-cooked. There is no way they can cook 4 hibachi combos in 10 mins. Everything was dry, overcooked & salty. The filet mignon was not all that great. Tasted like the food had been sitting under the heating lamp all day. The rice was not all the way cooked. I had a good amount of crunchy uncooked grains. I really wanted to like or even love this place cause it's local. My family was not pleased. I will give this place another try another time. Out of all the places in delco, this places without a doubt had the best sushi/sashimi. The tuna and salmon they use doesn't have an excessive amount of water in it which makes it sooo much more flavorful! I can't go anywhere else for sushi now that I've had this place. As a city-to-'burbs transplant I had pretty much given up on being able to ever get edible sushi without driving back to a more urban area. Yesterday, out of a severe sushi craving, I stumbled upon Panda Asian Fusion. My expectations were low, but I was totally pleasantly surprised!!! For starters - the green salads were good because the Japanese ginger dressing was on-point. The fried pork gyoza was really scrummy and I was pleased that they came in increments of 6, not 5 (easier for sharing). I'll definitely be trying more of their gyoza and shumai in the future. The spicy tuna sushi had crunchy bits in it (breadcrumbs?), which I liked. The Philly roll was exactly what it should be. They happily cut all my pieces into 8 as opposed to 6. The sushi came in increments of 2 (versus 1 - hallelujah) and was absolutely normal. I will definitely be returning to PAF and am thrilled that I have access to decent sushi! read more

Wow! I was skeptical after mixed reviews but glad we took the chance. Both the wonton and chicken noodle soups were good. I usually hate the gunky breading on take out fried shrimp. This one was just heavy enough for a hardy dipping of spicy mayo. The fried dumplings also passed the test. I'm looking forward for a dine-in, deeper dive into the menu. This place has really great lunch deals so I decided to try them out. I called in for pickup and I'm under 10 minutes I was there and my order was ready for me. I like the atmosphere. When we walked in it was peaceful and inviting. We were greeted and seated in a GREAT table right away. Plenty of room, with three large men still comfortable. We came here for one reason - Sushi. The selection was very nice. Presentation a step above what I expected in the location and the food all tasted very much like it was fresh. We actually all ordered a variety of meals, myself a Box Lunch that was actually done with about as perfect of a tempura as I've had in sometime. Dipping sauces were flavorful, without being overpowering. And the specialty rolls (I orders some sushi separate for the table to share) nice to look at and VERY good. The Mango was succulent and sweet, mixing very well with everything. Service was spot on. Attentive, without being intrusive. Made sure drinks were full, that there was plenty of wasabi and ginger, and that everyone had the utensils they desired. And the desserts.... I believe the sign in the front said best Asian in town and I'd have to assume that may not be too far from the truth. It's not the best food I've had but I mostly enjoyed everything. When going to a hibachi we typically prefer the spots that cook the food in front of you but this location was more convenient so we settled. They serve Japanese, Thai, Chinese food (along with the hibachi options) and have the menu's organized under these titles. We skipped the Chinese because the options were similar to what you can get from a typical corner store. The hibachi was what one would expect, but they don't give you the dipping sauces as traditional ones do. Also, as usual the hibachi came with soup & salad but no one at my table was a fan of the dressing they used here. We also tried the spring rolls and house wonton soup which were just okay, nothing special. Wonton broth was lacking in flavor. The major standout here was the sushi. It is prepared fresh at the sushi bar and all the rolls we tried (spicy tuna, sexy girl and sunshine) were very delicious and the price was pretty good for sushi quality. Also, what I find to be a major selling point is that this spot is BYOB (and there's a wine & spirits not too far). Major win! read more

We went on a Saturday afternoon at 2pm. Just in time for the lunch specials that run Monday thru Saturday 11am - 3pm. They sat us immediately and took our drink orders. Asian Fusion offers Pepsi products and delicious Thai Iced Tea. Their menu consisted of a mix of Japanese and Chinese-American foods. We each decided to get the Three Sushi Roll lunch special with choice of Salad or Miso soup. With many rolls to choose from it was not an easy decision but I went with the Philadelphia Roll, the Boston Roll, and the Tempura Shrimp roll. I also decided on the Miso soup. The soup and drinks came immediately. The soup was hot, and had lots of tofu and mustard green leaves. It was delicious. We each placed our order for our sushi and for those who aren't familiar with Sushi ordering, the process can be lengthy. But they managed to bring out 13 rolls of sushi in about 20 minutes. All of the sushi rolls were delectable. Especially the Mango sushi roll. I highly suggest you try it. It was absolutely spectacular. Packed full with spicy crab in the center and fresh juicy strips of mango on top. I've had mango sushi before at other establishments but this was top of the line sushi. I could of eaten an entire roll of it myself but alas, we ordered it for the four of us to share. Still two pieces each was very tasty. I was quite impressed with the service as well. Our waiter was knowledgeable of the menu and very attentive yet not overly so. I am so pleased to have found a gourmet sushi place out in Delaware County (Norwood) where the price is good. And we have found our spot! Their desserts are incredible. My boys each ordered different desserts. One was the Chocolate Mousse Pyramid. It was so creamy, and my son loved the molten caramel center. My other son ordered the Exotic Bomba, that was mango and passion fruit sorbet in a white chocolate shell. It was so delicious, that I regretted immediately not ordering one for myself. This is my go to place for a good, quick meal. Never noticed it until a friend told me they ate here and loved it. They have a great selection and the staff is always pleasant and efficient. I go here a lot with vegetarians and they have plenty of veggie dishes. The AAC roll (non sushi) and General Tao's Tofu are some of their favorites. I like that we can get Thai or Chinese and it is always good. Food is always fresh. Love their ginger salad dressing. I don't eat Sushi but people rave about it and I have seen tables eat huge amounts/platters of sushi while there. When they first opened I use to eat there often. Not sure what happened but they surly declined. The last 2 times I ate there I got food poisoning. The first time I thought it was just me feeling sick. But after the second time feeling sick after eating there I knew why. I was down for 3 days! Also, the wait staff are super rude! Food is great. People are friendly. What I don't understand from other reviewers are if you get all you can eat sushi (buffet) who can bring their food out when they leave from a buffet? Other places charge 20% or 2 dollars a piece for un eatten sushi.. weird that people would give them bad reviews for enforcing policy. How do people expect people to run a business if they don't enforce policies? As for Chris C's review, a friend and I decided to try the all you can eat sushi there. It was wonderful then we heard someone being upset. It turned out to be Chris C. arguing cause there was something wrong with his bill. We sorta heard what happened but didn't. He originally left and came back 15 mins later being really angry with his pregnant wife and child. I would be angry too if someone messed up my bill as well but at the end the manager / waiter said if the money didn't go back to the credit they would refund in full since the restro will be there........ Chris was the one that was really loud causing all the customers to pause and just watch him be loud for a good 5 mins before got loud with him since he was making customers like myself uncomfortable. A lot of times when you think about lunch, you think I want something good, not the same old... When that comes to mind this is one of the spots I come to. I LOVE their bento boxes, I get the salmon teriyaki that comes over onions also served with white rice, 3pcs of California roll and Shumai. You get your choice of Miso soup or salad, both are good but their Miso soup is the best I've had. When I'm just in the mood for sushi I'll get the combo of two or three which also comes with your choice, like I said the soup is awesome so I go for that. The good is extremely fresh and delicious, always hits the spot. I've never dined-in so I can't comment on service other than pick up, which is always very courteous and efficient, when you call in your order they give you a pick up number and confirm your order upon pick up. I have used the restroom which is clean. The restaurant in itself is clean an nice ambiance as well. Oh they also have Chinese lunch boxes, I have never ventured outside of the bento box and sushi but coworkers state it is very good as well. Ok, so the food was pretty good, the service was good as well, but when it came time to pay, well that's another story. My wife and I received a bill for $42 and change. I gave the server my cc and waited about 10 minutes for her to return. The manager came over to the table with three cc slips in hand and I knew we were in trouble. He tells me that they forgot to add the beverages to the bill (which should have put it at $48). I spent about 8 years working in restaurants and I know that if any change has to be made to the bill after the customer has received and handed it back, you are required to inform the customer before charging it. Not this guy. Here's where it turns into as confusing a mess as I've ever experienced. So he charges the $42, realizes that things were missing from the bill, CREDITS $48 back to my card for some reason, and then runs a charge through for $55. So bill comes, $42 - charges $42. Decides it should have been $48. CREDITS $48. Charges $55. I'll let that sink in for a minute. So when I question why he didn't either: A - Do a 2nd charge for $6.00 to bring it to $48 B - Credit back the exact amount he had charged by mistake C - Inform me of any of this before running charge after charge on my card the manager has the nerve to get an attitude with me as if we did something wrong. He kept repeating the same nonsense explanation and copping an attitude with us. I checked my bank tonight, there are charges showing for $42, $55, and no sign of a credit. I now have to file a dispute with my CC company while my money is tied up because of their failure. I understand that mistakes happen, but this gave me the feeling that he was attempting to confuse us and muddle the waters so much so that we wouldn't notice that he was trying to rip us off.
