After sampling, this is what we have left. They're soooo good!

Somehow stumbled upon Mochiatsu in Media when I got detoured on the way home from Philadelphia Int'l. Airport. (Was driving back to Chester County.) I love mochi and donuts but never had this combination before. These mochi donuts are so good! They're like bubble waffles but in a donut ring They're mildly sweet and spongey texture like mochi but delicately crisp fried on the outside. The different favors are the icings that are only on the top so you can appreciate the mochi experience, donut crispiness, and the sweet flavor of your chosen icing. It's all in the right proportions too. The bubble donut shape makes it easy to share. You just pull apart the donut bubbles. No mess and lots of yummy goodness. The person waiting on us was very friendly and patient with us trying to figure out which flavors to go with. Honestly, any flavor there is a good flavor. Some of them even come with an iced cookie stick similar to a Pocky. The place is a small donut shop with a few round deuce tables you can sit at. We just did a take out order and brought our donuts home. These flavors are delish: Oreo, Mango, Matcha, Raspberry, Taro, Salted Caramel. We bought 1/2 dozen for $16.99. A bit pricey but so worth it. Our family of 5 ate pulled apart these donuts. They're filling and we didn't even finish them yet. Mochi donuts are not like regular donuts. Try them. You will LOVE it!!

Last night I was craving dessert but was also tired of the same thing (ie: cookies, ice cream) Definitely needed to try something new & with all the times I've driven by this place I was like "ok, I have to check this out." Originally, I went on the website to see all what was featured & the photos themselves looked too good to be true ( or so, I thought.) I had only decided on the Banana Milk Tea (not pictured) before actually heading to the store & figured I'll just pick the food at random when I arrive. Upon entering, I was greeted & said I'd need a minute as the menu was of decent size. The cashier had mentioned to me that all of Mochiatsu Franchises are different so the ONLINE MENU's WILL VARY. I did see online that there was a "Nutella Croffle" which I absolutely love Nutella but this particular franchise location did not carry that flavor. **Be sure to check your franchises location for their own menu** Anyway, I decided on a Strawberry Croffle & 2 donuts. Figures, I can't remember which 2 flavor donuts I picked but, OMG now this was some dessert! So glad I didn't end up at Wawa for some ice cream like I normally would have. These were freshly made, flaky & soft. The Croffle was sticky & a little harder to pull apart than the donuts (it's supposed to be) but man these were such a good ending to my night. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside of Mochiatsu is cute & I'd say it's a relaxing atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]If I didn't go later at night I'd of stayed to have my tea & get some work done on the computer.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'd of pictured the Banana Milk Tea but it was so good I chugged it on my way home. Needless to say, I'll be back & if you haven't gone yet I'd definitely give this place a try!

Glad we decided to take this tasty detour from our everyday donuts. Chewy, light (yet filling), and not overly sweet. They're pricey ($2.99 each, slightly cheaper by the half and full dozen), but fun for a special, visually appealing treat. Interesting flavor options (we tried Taro, Churros, Pumpkin Spice. Strawberry, Tiramisu, and Oreo), each expertly crafted. Pair the donuts with a bubble tea (LOVED the Matcha) and take it all to-go. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are a few chairs and small tables, but the ambiance is more takeout counter than cozy cafe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Mochi donuts are my absolute favorite types. They're nice and chewy and cloudy (does that make sense?). Went this past weekend and grabbed half a dozen with a few bubble teas. Now, if you ask for my favorite, I don't have just one. I love the black sesame, the ube, matcha, and taro. I recommend just grabbing a half dozen or full and taking bites of each one. My mother in law came the next day and had some for the first time and fell in love. She kept coming back to the box and grabbing more "balls". Bubble teas/fruit teas - I would totally skip. They were SO SWEET. It's probably because they're made with powders and syrups and not fresh fruit. I can't wait to come back to get more donuts and try their hot dogs next time.

Got referred to this spot by my aunt who came for an elite event. So glad I came and tried it out! It's the cutest spot with seating. The service was good. I always say if the brown sugar or taro bubble tea is good, then everything will be! We got 6 mochi donuts to try different ones and they were delicious! My only issue I had with them were that some of them tasted the same to me. The coffee and Oreo donuts were the most distinct from the others. The ones that tasted in the same realm were the strawberry, funnel cake, raspberry and banana. Overall I was very pleased with everything! But I'll be back to update my review when I try the Korean Corn Dog!

I've stopped into this location before to pick up donuts and it is so cute inside and the staff is supper friendly. Today I ordered delivery from there on DoorDash! Of course I got a few donuts (Raspberry, Churro, and Strawberry with Fruity Pebbles), but I was most excited to try the Strawberry Choffle - a sweet croissant waffle topped with whipped cream and fresh strawberries! It was sooo so good!! I also love their flavored teas so I had to get a Lychee Green Tea. This is a great place to grab a fun treat!

A nice spot to grab a sweet treat that won't leave you feeling heavy. Both the inside and outside of the store are simple. The window seating is cute. However, the pink and white chairs need to be cleaned/replaced (that's my only criticism). The food options are anything but simple. This was my first visit. I got a classic strawberry flavor mochi donut for my son, a dragonfruit for later and I ate an Oreo Croffle while there. The donuts are on display waiting to be picked and I waited maybe a minute for my fresh Croffle. After sitting down and biting into my Croffle I said out loud "Oh this is good"! It was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, with a hint of sweetness. The whipped topping was light, it added that creamy layer you need with a crunchy treat. And don't worry it looks like a lot of whipped cream but it's the perfect amount (and I'm not a big fan of whipped cream). I tried a piece of my son's mochi donut, it was good. The crisper shell hid a pillow soft inside. I wasn't very try fond of the glaze but it wasn't bad. I think the Croffle made me bias. To close this out if you want a nice treat without falling asleep on the couch afterwards try them out. They've got bubble teas, Korean Rice Dogs and other foods to try.

I briefly stopped in to pick up some donuts and bubble tea. I was helped right away. I was impressed by the flavor varieties. I also like that I could potentially hang out here and share a snack with someone.

What?!? I don't have to drive into the city whenever my family craves these things?!?! That's a win in itself. HAHA, but in all seriousness, these doughnuts were delicious. Nice and chewy and not overly sweet. They even still taste great the day after. Drinks - ehhh, I wouldn't get again. No fresh fruit was used and just too much syrup.

The staff is so kind and the food was delicious! The corn dogs are so good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The establishment was clean and well kept![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We got the strawberry green tea with boba and it was so refreshing!!

Donut menu, but they sometimes have others not listed!

Mochiatsu is a fun addition to the variety of Media's food scene. It's a limited menu of mochi donuts (delightfully chewy and so many flavors), Korean hot dogs (think corn dogs, but a rice based batter instead) and bubble teas. What they do, they do well! If you're ordering hot dogs, be prepared for a wait, these are made to order.

I ordered the Satchmo, a buffalo chicken, Italian hoagie, ham hoagie, 4 chicken tenders and fries which came to a grand total of $85. Phew. This was my first time here, but I've heard the food and cheese steaks were great so I was ok with things at this point. I placed my order for pickup and was told it would be 20 minutes. I came in around the 20ish minute mark and waited for 25 more minutes. There was only 1 other person waiting with me. I did see 3-4 other people come in pickup and leave while I waited, but it wasn't busy by standards. While waiting is when I when I observed how unorganized and dis shoveled the staff were. The lady upfront was kind, attentive, and seemed to be running the show putting orders together. But, when she asked for help she didn't get any. She asked another staff member to help bag a specific sandwich for an order, several times, and it went in the guys ear and right out the other. I could also hear them scrambling in the back working on my order, and complaining about how many Italian hoagie orders came in right at the same time. Maybe they were behind, maybe they accidentally let mine go with a different order? This is all speculation but they were definitely overwhelmed and it shouldn't have taken that long for my order. The cheese steaks were good, and the Italian hoagie was very hearty! They do not skimp on meat, but the hoagie bread was so hard most of it was thrown away. I don't care for shredded gums. Overall, not a good first time experience. Minus a star for the price, minus a star for the delayed pickup time, and minus 1/2 for the rock hard Italian hoagie bread. The steaks were good but everything else outweighed the food quality.

The person at the counter who took our order was actually not very nice. We had questions about the menu but she sat there and stared at us instead of answering. That's fine. My husband and I enjoy awkward and slightly rude interactions. Not everyone is having a good day. My husband ordered the number 3 which was the double steak burger California with cheese fries. He pulled off most of the onions but thought the burger was actually pretty good. He said he'd return. I ordered the grilled chicken club sandwich with French fries. I really liked the shape of the fries. They were like shoe string fries but softer. Unfortunately both my fries and my sandwich was overly salty. I tried knocking off the salt on the fries and adding ketchup on the sandwich but couldn't overcome all the salt. We shared a turtle concrete. It was just okay. It got soupy very quick. I think because it's custard...maybe. overall, we both agreed on a 2 for this place given the setbacks but we'd come back for something quick if we're in the mood.

The Korean burger and sandwich were nice new flavors, both very flavorful and unique! I hope they're not too strong or different for some folks though and really hope they're here to stay. I've had some amazing American style burgers and sandwiches in Korea, better than most chains in the US, but this is the first time I've seen Korean burgers here haha. I will say they aren't my most favoritest shake shack burgers, but are pretty freaking close like if they could somehow mash them up with a good ol shroom burger, that would be the absolute ultimate mind bending burger I'd have ever had in my life xD My only slightest of concerns would be if you're ordering to go, please order 20-30 min prior to arrival via the Shake Shack website or app. The friendly staff were kind enough to inform me that the order had only been received on their screen about 15 after my arrival since they saw me waiting for a while. After that it took about 10-15 min to complete. I had placed the order on my phone just as I'd arrived at the location to see how long it takes. Upon a quick search, it looks like they send your mobile order to the kitchen 15 minutes before the pickup time shown to you in the app/website, which is to give you time to get there and to ensure the order is freshly made. Makes sense! Though I wish it was made clear online since most fast food places send the order right away or when you arrive. Note to future self: place order before leaving the house!
