I love this place. It's a small shop with amazing doughnuts, so soft and not too sweet. We got the crème brûlée and tiramisu, and both were so good. The service was great. Oh! I thought these donuts were delectable! I couldn't choose just one, so I opted for a variety of four filled donuts: pistachio, creme brulee, coffee, and sweet corn. The fillings were delicious! The creme brulee donut had a hard, sticky, glossy coating of sugar which was very nice to look at, but got stuck in my teeth. The sweet corn was unique, but I think the pistachio might have been my favorite. These sweet treats were a fun way to start my Saturday morning. I also got an iced creamy coffee - which was DECADENT and fluffy. I'm not exactly sure what it was - the menu just says "creamy coffee" - but it was delightful. I shudder to think of the amount of calories I consumed. I really enjoyed my impromptu visit to Donut House. Their menu says "espresso coming soon," and they have some fun Korean corndogs, in addition to their donuts. If you're in the area, give this place a visit! I was looking for a small cafe to do some work and found this hole in the wall! They have a few tables to sit at and the girl taking my order was super nice and patient with other guests as well. I had a peach cream donut and it was so good! I've been complaining that the donuts in PA are always so cakey and dense but the donut here was light & airy and the cream filling had actual peaches in it while not being super sweet! The filling to donut ratio was perfect! I also ordered a matcha latte and it's one of the best I've had in the area. I loved it so much that I bought a half dozen to go! read more

I can only say that I wish I lived closer! I would get them for every fancy party. Everyone tried one- cream filled is like a whipped cream, crème brûlée is similar except a lovely crunchy top , we tried the pumpkin cream, very nice, and a Peach cream, Tasty. Probably next time I would get 4 crème brûlée... you would never know from the outside how fancy these treats are- super fresh and Korean bakery style. They put Paris baguette to shame. The signage outside is so basic. They also make nice bubble kinds maybe without the bubbles? Matcha and oat milk kind of thing. I like how the donuts had a coat of sugar on them. The chocolate plain ended up being my favorite one though. I was excited for them, but sadly the filled donuts were not it. I wish the filling was creamier and fluffier. Ex- the lemon donut filling was sour and liquidy. If I'm having a sweet treat i want it to be sweet and fluffy! The donut hole donuts were chewy. I was skeptical at how these donuts would live up to their price tags when after tax 3 donuts were $15, but they are definitely worth it! Donuts were all very high quality. The chocolate cream was like chocolate mousse, and the chocolate "glaze" wasn't glaze, it was like homemade fudge fondant! Strawberries were very fresh and juicy; their cream companion was a homemade whipped cream. Board said the cream fillings are chantilly cream, which is basically a whipped cream but it was firmer to hold shape and stay contained inside the donuts. Donuts themselves were all beautifully made, fresh, and tasted great! These were nothing like the taste of DnD or bakeries or any trendy donut spots. Really, don't expect typical saccharine donut flavors here. It was far more like French pastries, with less sugar than any US donut shop, but definitely more sugar than The Continent uses. It's like a hybrid Franglais donut baby! However splurgy these treats may be, with cream, butter and sugar, I still felt like my stomach had real whole food in it after eating, as opposed to synthesized processed junk. read more

This place is ok and worth a try. The 'brioche' donuts are rich and have a generous custard filling. Choices include chocolate, milk cream, creme brulee, banana pudding, and strawberry. The creme brulee is delicious and have a thin shiny sheen of solidified, crystallized white sugar around it. Brown sugar would have been better. Would like to try banana but they have been out every time. Can't eat too many of these in one setting as they are very filling. Half dozen will set you back $26. They also offer the lighter mochi donuts, which I have not tried yet. Have tried mochi donuts before elsewhere, and it is not my thing, but I can see how they would be very appealing to some. Also offer coffee and dairy and non-dairy milk drinks/teas. Didn't see boba. Also offer Korean style crusted corndogs, which I have to try another time. Can order for delivery or pickup. Pickup was quick as there was noone else in the store. One time, had to wait a bit, though I was the only other customer in the store, as the sole person working was in the back making the other guy's drink. read more

Okay, so I don't write many reviews, bur wow am I impressed. I went into Donut House on a whim since I was about to head into Dim Sum Mania next door. They were about to close I figured, why not see what they have. Don't be fooled by the unassuming locale, these are hands down some of the best gourmet donuts I've had. The staff was kind enough to give us a couple of extra on top of the 6 we had already ordered. The strawberry cheesecake is sublime, and the brioche cinnamon sugar donuts are divine. These taste great even after a couple of days, they haven't gone stale just yet. Do yourself a favor and try them all. They are soft, air, with a slight chewy texture. These aren't over sweet and there is no greasy film left over. This will now be my go to donut shop. read more

Cute new donut shop. We tried the brioche donuts. The tiramisu donut was so good. The strawberry was nicely tart, and the matcha was alright. The blueberry was disappointing because there was no filling, only icing on top which wasn't that good. I was craving malasadas and the only place nearby with similar donuts was here. Texture-wise, these donuts are perfect and hit the spot, however the fillings were definitely lacking and had a strange texture to them (chunky). The creme brulee topping had a bitter aftertaste that was definitely off-putting, and although I'm a huge Nutella fan, the nutella filled donut felt like too much Nutella. I would absolutely love to come back here as the brioche donuts are basically malasadas but I would love if they were able to improve the quality and texture of the fillings. Haven't made a review in a few years- but this place made me come out of retirement. Definitely a bit pricey but for a treat, it is worth it. The donuts are light and flavorful. Very good flavor combinations and some unique donuts. The Crème Brûlée donut was very good and the strawberry jam donut was fresh. They were sold out of the Mochi Donuts by the time we got there. Will definitely add into the rotation. read more

Grabbed three doughnuts for the kids this morning. First, they're expensive. Know that going in. It is $10 for 3. Flavor is good. They're made from brioche dough so they're very airy and buttery. Not heavy. Overall, very good. Price is too high to make it a normal stop spot though. read more
