We always order from here when I'm on-call at Crozer. The food is consistently good, always fresh & hot and arrives relatively quickly. I love their sticky white rice because it's steamed perfectly. The vegetables in all the entrees are crisp and fresh and the egg & spring rolls are never overly oily. I Only tried the Singapore mei fun. I have had Singapore mei fun from several Chinese food places around delco and center city. This has become how i gauge the quality of the food. It has all types of meat and thin noodles and can easily be overcooked. I have to say that the taste was excellent! and exceeded other many other places. I am giving it 3 stars because i was left wanting more. The portion size is 25% smaller than other places that i have purchased from i felt this was shrinkflation at its best. Same price as most places, but portion was significantly less. I wish they had a dinner size portion even if it cost slightly more! I have attached photos of the normal size containers i receive when ordering Singapore mei fun compared to Great Wall. If the portion size was better this place would hit the mark. I work next-door, Through the ringer laundromat three years ago prior to the new management. I didn't like the food no longer last week I went into Great Wall Chinese restaurant and I gotten a shrimp eggroll. I never tasted anything so fresh. I am so impressed with the new owners we have taken over Great wall. So me and my husband tried the restaurant last night to my surprise. Everything was delicious chicken wings golden brown. This is one of those places I'd give 3.5 stars to. I liked everything I ate. Some of it fell short of the "I'm a fan" experience for me. But still better quality than a lot of Delco Chinese takeout joints. I was in an appetizer mood. Steamed dumplings had just enough flavor. Could have used a little more meat and less dumpling but that's a personal taste. Fried scallops had a nice sweetness and it's a quality deal with the fried rice. I even enjoyed a taste of the cheesesteak egg roll which was solid. The place is solid. Better dumplings might have gotten it the 4th star from me. But it's good enough. read more

The pork fried rice is way off, just orange looking rice not fried , has peas not bamboo shoots , onions, and sprouts like normal . The sesame chicken had an odd texture outsideand purple chicken inside . The broccoli was slightly raw not cooked , not sauced and only 2 pieces, Just over not good. read more

It has been a long minute since I had any good satisfying Chinese food. I am glad I ordered here. It was my first time so I went for hot & sour soup, house special fried rice, Szechuan beef, Hunan double delight, mo po tofu & shrimp honey walnut. Everything was great! All of the portions were generous. I have a family of four adults & it will probably take us 2-3 times to finish it all. The estimated delivery time was 60-70 mins but it came in less than 30 mins. Food was piping hot. I am trying my best to support local businesses. Great Wall has my vote! Will be ordering again when I have that craving for Chinese food ;) read more

I drove to the restaurant and ordered the Chicken and broccoli combo. I asked for white rice and a shrimp eggroll because I don't eat pork. When I got home and opened my meal, it was a shrimp meal with pork fried rice. I called the restaurant to inform them of the mistake and all they said was sorry and if I wanted a refund I would have to drive back to the restaurant and give them back the meal I received. So you made a mistake and I pay for it by having to come back?!?!? And if I did return and give back the meal, what are you going to do with it read more

Appreciate the great service. Upon delivery, we noticed our drinks were missing. Instead of calling, we just accepted it as a minor loss. The delivery person returned later with the drinks and greatly apologized for missing them earlier. Probably the first time ever that missing items were actually received later and all without notifying. It was just such a surprising turnaround that we have to commend. I stopped in here because I was craving steamed veggies and shrimps after my intense workout. I was concerned that they wouldn't have any, but much to my surprise. I checked out the back of their menu, and found their diet menu on the bottom of the page! So happy! I'm doing an eight-week healthy eating and fitness challenge, so I was very glad to see this option. This is the first Chinese restaurant I've seen open since this Pandemic started, so I felt a craving for good Chinese food and THIS AIN'T IT. This was The' worst meal I've had in such a long time and really wish I did go somewhere else. I ordered a Gen Tso chicken platter and the grease was so saturated throughout the platter I couldn't finish it. The rice portion was drenched with the grease from the chicken portion which made the whole platter disgusting and if that's not enough their eggroll was SO soaked in grease I literally could of poured it out of the little wax bag. Best Chinese food in the area. I have always walked in to pick it up because I live close but they do deliver. They are very fast in making the food and it is so good. My favorites are the kung pao shrimp, shrimp with vegetables, and the seafood fried rice. The shrimp are big and they they don't skimp on the shrimp. The Kung pao sauce is one of the best sauces I've had at any Chinese restaurant, SO delicious. The portions are always stuffed to the top of the containers. Ordered 3 items for delivery through DoorDash. The order was correct, delivered hot, and faster than expected. The best dish was the vegetable mei fun. This was perfect; I could eat it all day every day and be just fine. The vegetables were crisp and the noodles had a nice bite; perfectly seasoned! I was super excited to see the Happy Vegetables with Garlic Sauce. Whenever I order broccoli or string beans with garlic sauce, I always ask for some tofu to be thrown in. I was amazing to see these things put together without a special order! The vegetables were perfect, tender yet still crisp, and they didn't skimp on the tofu! Sadly, there was way too much sauce, although, had I liked the sauce more, that might not have been an issue. It was just way too sweet! Although, it does have a nice heat that comes through after the fact. If they could tone down the sweetness, this would be my all time favorite, but as is, I don't know that I would order it again. Then we come to the vegetable dumplings... Again, the sauce is WAY too sweet! A little fresh grated ginger or some vinegar might help. But the filling! Oy! It's a texture thing for me. Everything is just ground up, and there's nothing recognizable in there. So think mush wrapped in dough and dipped in a cloyingly sweet sauce.
