It's not sexy food. It's basic fry it up and take it out American Chinese fare. But the truth is I kind of liked it. Compared to other places locally this food had more flavor to it. Vegetable fried rice and shrimp on a stick both made me pretty happy. The shrimp was a little on the chewy side. It's fried shrimp on a stick and probably from the frozen kind. But it had good flavor to it. I really like the fried rice. The wontons in the soup weren't bad though they were slightly doughy. And my son devoured the chicken on a stick like it was his last meal. The good news is they are consistent on their delivery times. If you order food or you just ask them to bring you the drink you ordered and they had forgotten, it will take 45 minutes for them to travel the 2.5 miles to your hotel. Also you will have to speak to the person answering the phone, who then passes you to the manager, who then passes you to the owner... not exactly effective problem solving. The food is your standard Chinese takeout. Mostly tastes like fryer oil that needs to changed. Food was very hot when it arrived which was good, but it generally tastes like a hot nothing. The General Tso's was soggy and lacking flavor. It had plenty of sauce, but still tasted like nothing. The fried pork dumplings were entirely deep fried and had completely steamed themselves in their container. The dough is very thick and doesn't add anything to the dumpling. The filling was actually pretty tasty (and the only reason for 2 stars), but it was ruined by a soggy steamed texture and extra thick dough. The dipping sauce was also mostly unremarkable, just lots of mirin and soy. With all that being said, the prices are inexpensive, but it is definitely reflected in the quality of the food that you will receive. read more

We enjoyed our dishes, the vegetable ho fun was a home made noodle dish. The homemade vegetable dumplings were delicious. Can you say FUCKING GROSS I'm here visiting from Cali and decided to order on grub hub being stuck in my hotel room.... For starters the wait time for delivery was over an hour long and their 4mi away granted it's a business so, so be it. It gets here and it's simi warm. I ordered the crab fried rice and crab ragoon...... The rice was thick and grainy and over saturated with oil and crowded with think chunks of immitation crab pics below. The lunch specials are a great meal. I get General Tso's chicken lunch special which comes with pork fried rice and wonton soup. The chicken on sticks, pork dumplings and ribs are delicious. These are treats. It's not health food so I don't order from them every week. They take health and safety precautions by not letting customers into the store. read more

After waiting for close to 2 hours and going back and forth with the restaurant I finally had enough and told them to chancel. They insisted it would only be "2 more minutes" several times. Well after I finally had enough I said forget about it. Then when I go to leave I find the food hanging on my door in the hotel hallway. It was there the entire time. Cold. Pork fried rice was overcooked and looked disgusting afraid to even try it trashed. The beef lo mein was just as bad that was also trashed. Wonton soup was mostly water also trashed. The wonton soup broth tasted like standard chicken broth and aside from wontons there were only green onions in it. The wontons themselves we're large with a lot of meat and were quite rich with a sort of all dente bite to the dough. I appreciated that texture and the minimal amount of flowy bits more than the typical wonton soup that is full of overcooked noodle sheets. So the dumplings are quite good and the rest is bland. 2.5/5 The egg roll was nice and crisp. It tasted pretty oily, but otherwise pretty standard. I wish it had come with sweet and sour sauce. Overall, the texture is better than a lot are, but the flavor was pretty standard. It was fine. 2.5/5 The fried rice is edible, but tastes bland and a little oddly sour. It's not very good, but can be salvaged with some soy sauce. 2.0/5 The Sichuan beef is spicy, but doesn't have as much of that Sichuan peppercorns prickle as I would like. Mostly, it's spicy and a bit salty with a gravy. It's somewhere between a Sichuan beef and a Hunan beef, but not as good as either (that's likely due to the poor quality of the food and cooking though). There's too much oil in it. It's a surprisingly spicy 3/5, but I appreciated that. The vegetables are cooked an appropriate amount. Mostly, it's too bland. 2.0/5 The General Tso's Chicken is pretty bland and also not all that crispy, but that is likely due to this being delivery food. It tastes a bit like ketchup and isn't all that spicy. It's edible, but certainly not enjoyable. 2.0/5 This restaurant struggles with its flavors, but it does a good job in executing its cooking to produce good textures. Even some of the condiments (notably the mustard) were a bit bland. I'm optimistic that it will be able to improve and become a good restaurant. read more
