Iced coffee and walnut baklava on the outdoor patio!
    Madeleine C.

I make it a point to visit Brew Ha Ha every time I visit my younger sister at UD. This coffee shop is located right off of Main Street with a convenient parking lot right behind it ($1/hour). The shop is pretty large with a wide variety of seating options including an outdoor patio. The chairs are super comfy and I spotted plenty of outlets if you are planning to come here to do work. The shop is decorated adorably and stepping inside instantly puts me in a good mood. The menu here is awesome but presents a lot of difficulty if you struggle to make decisions like I do as there are tons of options. I ended up going with the cold brew coffee and shot of caramel. It was beyond good-the perfect amount of caramel. My sister had the warm apple cider which was perfect for the season and made from actual apple cider, not powder. The baked good selection here is unreal with tons of unique options. I spent almost 10 minutes deciding but ultimately went with the walnut baklava at the barista's recommendation. After finishing, I almost considered order a second--it was that good. Brew Ha Ha is really everything you could ask for in a coffee shop with great vibes, comfy seating, excellent coffee and creative baked goods.

Love this coffee shop! It is a great place to relax, do some work, or catch up with a friend. My go-to is cubano that I like much better than espresso here. The only downside is the seats are not as comfy, and the water is served in plastic cups (which kills the atmosphere) but this is the best non-American style coffee you can get in Newark!

As someone who is currently abroad and downing coffee as I move through Europe, I still miss Brew Ha Ha! like crazy. Everything from the menu to the people is worth noting. I could spent hours all day studying in Brew with the way the atmosphere isn't quiet but not noisy either. It helps that each drink is always well-made, and there are a variety of drinks to choose from. The food is all delicious too. I have yet to try a pastry or sandwich that I didn't like. The best part is that Brew is constantly redeveloping, and having new items, while maintaining their brand. I miss Brew like crazy!!

I used to come here in college to get some work done, and maybe even enjoy some coffee outside when the weather permitted (all of 3 days a year lol). It's one of the underrated study stops on campus- there's so much space, there's food and drinks, there's even some board games! I went back last weekend and got an iced latte, which wasn't the best coffee I've had but good enough! Upgrade from the Dunkin!

Great breakfast sandwiches and coffee, although sits on the pricier side of Main St. Always packed during the school year, so claim a table if you can or find patio seating if weather permits. The Brew Ha Ha Latte is my personal favorite indulgence, and their sandwich/soup pairs rarely disappoint. Order fresh, as sometimes they will give you a pre-made sandwich. In general their bread isn't my favorite, but otherwise I love this place. Best coffee spot in Newark.

Brew Ha Ha offers a wide selection of coffees, and other drinks. They also serve tea (Republic of Tea's). I am a tea lover, so I am usually careful when it comes to the teas they serve outside, especially when it's not a tea house. I only tried their coffees so far, and I was not disappointed. People working there are young but they look like they know what they're doing, which is a great thing. I lately tried their Thai Iced Coffee and it's pretty good. They offer free wifi and they have sitting outside which is great in summer. (Offering even seats in the shade or under the sun.) Great place if you want to get some work done, music not too loud and people are not that loud there I think. I guess it depends on the day.

I love Brew HaHa maybe as much as I love puppies. Fabulously delicious coffee, AMAZING and cozy atmosphere, a constant variety of specials and new flavor combinations of lattes to try, pretty great food and bagel sandwiches, and an all around great vibe. I'm also a huge sucker for coffee houses that give you REAL DISHES and real silverware and mugs that make you feel like you're at home, it is just the best touch and nothing is better than sitting in front of a fire with a mug full of your favorite latte talking to friends about life etc. Also I'm from Maryland- meaning I am intimately familiar with baller Maryland crab soup, and am hesitant to order this is any state other than my beautiful beautiful home state. Even though it's just over the line into Delaware, I was still nervous to try it here- and I was pleasantly surprised! A coffee shop with great soup- all they need is wine and it will be a place full of my three favorite things

Coffee is great! Got a hot mocha latte. And a chocolate crossaint. The baristas are amazing at this Brew Haha too! Great study spot.

Nice place on campus at UD. Coffee is good with a nice variety of ways to have it. Bagels fresh and the staff if friendly.
