me and my best friend visiting from cali drove 30 minutes to try their new coffee drinks we saw…read moretrending on TikTok. The bakery itself is super cute and the baked goods looked amazing. My friend's drink was good, but mine (the cake batter that should've come with blue cold foam and sprinkles) looked completely different from what was advertised and didn't taste super great. We also weren't offered the pink cups or stickers shown in the promo, which added to the confusion. A bit disappointing since we specifically came for those featured drinks. Hoping consistency matches the marketing next time!

The space itself is adorable --- bright, pink, and full of cute merchandise and baked goods. I've stopped by twice so far --- the first time being on opening day, when unfortunately things were sold out by 12p. We were able to snag a small chocolate chip cake to split among co-workers, which was good though very sweet. I've had a few more of the cupcakes after a coworker brought treats in for the office, which were also yummy, though similarly very sweet with cake that's a bit dense. I've been keeping on eye on her menu, which seems to be diversifying and expanding. I'm excited to go back and try some of the newer cupcake flavors, the homemade Pop-tarts, and some of her various other treats.

It took me over 20 minutes to find the actual "shop". And that was after going into another shop…read moreand asking to be pointed in the right direction. The 'shop' was not what I was expecting...in the least. They should have had a back up plan for winter months if that is what in fact this shop is for. We walked in to a "counter" with an enclosed medium size plastic case of cupcakes. We were waited on by a nice gal that went into the back (behind a curtain) and frosted the cupcakes we ordered. It was a strange experience being in a room that looked like someone just pulled some furniture out of their apartment and arranged it in this space. We ordered the Peanut Butter Cupcake, Carrot Cake and Brown Sugar. Peanut Butter Cupcake - it was to have a large dollop of peanut butter frosting in it along with a chocolate frosting. The dollop in the center tasted like a tablespoon of thick peanut butter and was chewy and gummy...nothing like peanut butter should taste like, if that is what it actually was. The chocolate cupcake tasted "off". It had a raw flour taste. The frosting was nothing exciting. Carrot Cupcake - Raisins and Carrots don't make up a carrot cake. And that is what this was. A spice cake (or should I call it a nutmeg cake, since that was the overpowering spice I tasted throughout) The raisins were not lightly tossed in flour to make certain they didn't sink right to the bottom and remain in clumps of 3-4 raisins. (any baker, especially someone that owns a cupcake business, should be aware of this). The cream cheese frosting was overpowering and I could feel the sugar between my teeth (kinda like sand). It tasted like sugar and some butter. No cream cheese taste what so ever. Brown Sugar Cupcake - Was OK...if I wasn't told beforehand that it was a brown sugar cupcake, I would have never known. It was a plain jane yellow cupcake with forgettable frosting. If you are going into the cupcake business and wish to be known for these little mouthfuls of yumminess...make them so. Put more thought and effort into making your cupcakes the best in the area. Although I realize this review might come as a surprise to some, it was my honest opinion of this business.

The workers were less than friendly, and a few of my family members noted that they seemed like they would rather be anywhere else. I wasn't expecting a song and dance, but I was expecting a friendly atmosphere. The cupcakes were good, but not the best I've had. They overcharged me for mileage and then were obstinate when I approached them about a refund (or even a comprimise!). This turned out to be the last family gathering we had before my Grandmother passed, and I'm sad to say it was marred by a less-than-stellar experience with the cupcake truck.

This is an absolutely gorgeous and spacious Whole Foods. It's been around for a few years, but it…read morestill looks brand new. I find this Whole Foods is typically very well stocked, it has huge cheese and hot/cold self-serve departments, and it always has a great selection of meat substitutes for those who care about such things (I do). The beer pub/take out section of this Whole Foods is not huge, but always has a very decent selection of craft beers, including 10 on tap. You can get your growler filled, and the beer pub also houses a made to order coffee shop. The downside of this Whole Foods is the downside of every Whole Foods--the price. That said, for unique or international ingredients, you can often find cheaper versions here than at your everyday Acme or Giant, as well as a wider selection so you can find exactly the products for which you are looking. One other area where you can often get a better deal here than otherwise are the loose nut/bean/seed/grain bins. I find these especially useful when I am making a recipe that only calls for a small amount of something--like sesame seeds that I need for bagels or kung pao chicken. Beautiful Whole Foods, great selection, love the beer pub, too expensive for all my shopping, but deals can be found.
