Was so excited to go to the R&B sing-along, but was unfortunately highly disappointed with DJ Wes. At the sing along, numerous people kept speaking into the mic, saying change the music speed it up, change the vibe, and he proceeded to cuss at us disrespectfully because he was upset that we were not liking what he was playing I will never go back to another event as long as DJ Wes is the DJ. He sucks and he's a rude arrogant asshole who only cares about what he wants to play and does not know how to read the room or please, the audience. if you want to do a R&B night get a DJ that knows R&B and knows how to please a crowd because he definitely does not. the service and the staff were very nice, but the DJ was a dealbreaker. Went for food and a sing a long, only to wait 25 minutes for a waitress and possibly the worst DJ we have ever experienced. He had his toddler dancing on stage while our company tried to have a good time that we paid for, meanwhile HE sang over top everyone? The service is absolutely the most horrible service I think I've ever had! And this isn't the first time. We've been there about 3-4 times over the last year. Each time, service is the worst part of it. With normal, low level crowds you have slow service. It's significantly well under expectations. But as event crowds increase demand, the service falls off a cliff. Each time we have been there, it appears as though they could use one or two more bartenders. The last two visits, I almost left without paying the tab. Reason being nobody will provide service to do so. I have literally stood on my stool legs and waved my arms asking for service to only be visibly ignored. The avoidance of us was obvious. So to finally pay the bill, two times in a row, we had to walk to the end of the bar like we were table service waiting for drinks. Only then, with an attitude, did we get the bill for payment. The only bartender there that is worth their time is Tami. She is a rock star but one bartender can only do so much. In my opinion, management understaffs the bar. When it's already too late, you see two extra people come out to help. But at that point the food is no longer coming out. It's too late. A third bartender at the beginning would likely avoid all of this. But every time we go there it's the same situation. If you're looking for somewhere for service, or even frequently served food/drink, I'd suggest somewhere else. I'll probably never go back. read more

Although the food was good, I thought it was way overpriced. They charged me five dollars for iced tea then another five dollars when they refilled it. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. I think I played it safe though. The crispy Brussels sprouts were a winner. I could of eaten that alone be satisfied. It was more thsn enough to share but I really didn't want to lol. I ordered the salmon with veggies. That was pretty good too. There was a live setting up when we were getting ready to leave. I was excited to come back to Mulligans, unfortunately we were given menus and then we were discarded for 40 minutes. Other parties of people came in the door 30 minutes after we had to get immediately served. The server did not appear to be doing anything they couldn't have fit us in between as they did for others. We had gotten many disgruntled looks from the server, so I can chalk it up to profiling. I typically don't write reviews, but I needed to. It was sadly very obvious it was due my race, my partners' gender identity and/or sexual orientation. It's very sad that there are still people out there willing to risk business to spread hate and discomfort. Literally the worst and most disrespectful service I have ever received in my life. I've worked for the same restaurant company for ten years, as a server, a bartender, and now a manager and I do not understand how Erin (the bartender at Mulligans) still has a job there. We came in to have some drinks and dinner, all we got was one drink and an appetizer in the hour and a half we were there. I know what it's like to be weeded, but come on, how do you not even acknowledge the people at your bar that have nothing but empty glasses in front of them. And when we finally were able to get her attention to order a second round...instead of making the drinks, she was on the other side of the bar taking shots with the other patrons. Maybe she shouldn't be a bartender and stick with being a patron because I witnessed her destroy a cork in a wine bottle (but the cork would of still come out with some extra work) and then she just threw the bottle away! Not only are they losing patrons but they're losing inventory! I just wanted to have a nice night with my friend and I left so pissed off. I watched multiple people get served (and possibly over served as there was a girl throwing up in the restroom when I went to wash my hands) and we were completely ignored. Great spot! Especially for live music. They book great talent and really know their crowd. Food never disappoints. Whether it's chicken and dumplings or a burger or an entree pasta, you're bound to enjoy it. The Wings are a must try. They are quality, smoked, and made just right. Literally ruins any other restaurant's wings, I guarantee it. Outdoor space is cool too during the summer months. The owners and staff give great service. All around, a great place to be! read more

Thursday, "Ladies Night"... Sitting at the sparse bar with 2 bartenders, one of which was too busy talking to another group (4), who seemed too preoccupied to worry about a single patron further referred to as #1. I was waited on by the other, more attentive bartender further referred to as #2. When #1 finally asked what I wanted to drink, I said she got it (#2) which prompted #1 turn around and give #2 the finger behind her back. Half way through my first beer, I had to ask #1 if the kitchen was open to which she replied yes and I had to ask for a menu. I ordered the Fish and Chips and she walked away... not asking if that would be all. I flagged her down and told her that I didn't need the coleslaw and could I please get cocktail sauce instead of tarter sauce... she said sure. When my order came out, you guessed it, coleslaw and no cocktail sauce. I asked #2 if I could get some cocktail sauce and she politely brought me some. The fish was pretty decent for frozen fish and the homecut fries were really good. I'll stop here because I think you get the pictures that #1 was terrible and #2 saved me from walking out all together! The name Mulligans implies a second chance... I should spend at least $30 ...and I can only sing three songs then leave because I'm taking up space that a customer that spends more could be sitting there...... I was told last Thursday night that someone else (won't mention names) was almost as bad at me....which of course I didn't take very well...I told him F you and walked out...not even 5 minutes after I left John messaged me stating I'm no longer available at Mulligans.... I thought this place was a super cute restaurant, especially for Mother's Day (which is where we went for my boyfriends mom). Their water is also clean and fresh, served in cute mason jar type glasses. On top of that, they do serve mimosas. Their food is very delicious and filling, too. I really loved the sausages (they reminded me of England breakfasts). The wait was pretty lengthy (maybe because it was Mother's Day, and we arrived shortly after they opened), but also the waitress was a little slow and not personable. She struggled with trying to take our order (stopped talking for approximately four minutes to figure out the machine and order versus writing it down with customers customization), brought out to much food, and took a while to fill up drinks. I've been able to visit this establishment on a few occasions and enjoyed trying different meals. I will have to say, brunch at Mulligan's has been my favorite time to visit. With their brunch menu offered only on the weekends from 9:00am-2:00pm, I get to enjoy breakfast while my husband chooses from some of the regular menu items offered during brunch. Although the brunch menu isn't extensive, I really enjoyed the items we ordered. For starters, my husband wanted to try the Crabby Pretzel. It was served nice and hot with a tasty crap topping and cheese on top. For our meals we ordered the Eggs Platter and added bacon, a Cheeseburger, and the French Toast to share. Needless to say, we had lots of leftovers to take home. My favorite item would have to be the French Toast as it is made with croissants and lightly coated with powdered sugar. Simply divine! The Eggs Platter was simple, delicious and a great accompaniment with the French Toast. My husband enjoyed his burger and the fresh cut fries served with his meal. I enjoy being able to support local businesses, especially one that is two miles from home. Needless to say, we will be back for more French Toast soon! read more

We went this afternoon mid day so we could dine outside since it was warm today. Faith, our server was so friendly and accommodating! She brought our food out in stages just perfectly since we were grazing and sharing family style. We started with the glazed Brussel sprouts and they were the best we have ever had. The chicken nachos were loaded and tasty. French Onion soup was some of the Best around with great caramelized onions. Shrimp tacos were extremely fresh. Fab renovation + great food! The old Bogey's was a dump bar with marginal pub food. Have no fear cause Mulligan's(in old Bogeys building) has new owners. Changes in building are WOW and food is delish! Better than 2 Stones Pub or Crooked Hammock. Staff follows all Coronavirus restrictions. Recommend shrimp tacos, hand made boardwalk fries, pasta and cheesesteak. 12 beer taps! We sat on the lawn chairs and it was like my friend's comfortable backyard. Today we had a surprise baby shower for my daughter at Mulligan's under the tent outside... It was absolutely wonderful with not only perfect brunch choices, mimosa's & all, but there were even toys right there outside on the lawn for the little kids to play.
