This is a really awesome brewery to visit, especially when the weather is favorable. They have a bar inside and lots of seating outside. There are multiple corn hole game sets, hammocks, and Adirondack chairs to lounge in. The beers were very good as well as the food! And the service was friendly and attentive. I can't wait to come back!

Cute spot that was located within walking distance from our hotel. I tried a beer flight and one of their hard lemonades. Both were very tasty. I had the pulled pork sandwich and it was ok.

The bartenders Erica and Craig were awesome. We ate at the bar so we could see the musician playing that night. The food came out fast and delicious. It's a fun place to grab some food and drinks. Plenty of parking and not far from the main road!

We have come here multiple times over the years. We always have a large group with people ranging from small children to older adults. We always have a great time. In the summer we take the kids outside to play. We have tried a variety of food and drinks. My husband, son and daughter liked the beer. My other daughter likes the mixed drinks. I really liked the salad with shrimp and the nacho appetizer. Our waitress was very good, friendly and organized. A manager came by and checked on us. The last night we were there had good, live music. We will definitely be back.

I've been to the restaurant in Myrtle Beach and really liked it so I decided to trek the 50 mins to this one in Delaware. Very laid back vibe with a little different menu. A rather large outside sitting area as well as an indoor bar and seating. This place is dog friendly, something that I struggle with at times. I don't own a pet so eating next to one is a work in progress. they have a very good assortment of different beers and alcoholic drinks. I've fallen in love with Myrtle Peach beer. . Their boneless wings are excellent, and the nachos are a must try as well. I wasn't a big fan of the meatloaf, a little too mushy for my taste. But they do give you a big portion. All in all, I will be back due to the nice laid-back vibe and environment and friendly atmosphere.

Don't walk, RUN to one of the cooler restaurants in Middletown (and a brewery bonus). What a great addition to the town. When visiting my parents in DE, I'm not so overly impressed with their options but I was so impressed with the CH that we ended up here 3x's in a week. Huge bonus for parents with kids...they have a playground!!! Why haven't any other breweries thought of that?? My 5 year old had a blast and I did too that he didn't have his head in an iPad the entire time we were there. FOOD! We had the nachos = amazing, other family members had wings and burgers...both great as well. DRINKS! Everyone loved their drinks. I was a little disappointed on the frozen pina colada but I'll let them have a pass. I did try the watermelon cooler beverage (alcoholic) - summer in a glass..10/10. Merchandise - then we stocked up on merchandise...woo hoo! We can't wait to come back to this happening restaurant in the heart of Delaware!

This place definitely has a great ambiance. It's right next to a hotel I stayed at for work so the location was perfect. It's a family friend type of bar. The drinks were good and the food was ok. The staff were friendly and helpful. I definitely wouldn't mind visiting again.

Nachos. How do you mess up nachos. Awful!

Loud. Food is not good. Service was good. Sticky chicken was so over cooked, as was the mahi mahi. Not worth the $ Nachos, how do you mess that up. They did.

It was only another 15 minutes past Herr's and the reviews were stellar. We ordered some beers, it's really refreshing to see breweries that brew for the season, not just pump out hazy IPAs. We ordered a brown ale and a red ale, both were top notch! So glad I remembered to grab our growler before we left the house. We were able to take home a delicious 64oz of beer to have later. I ordered the chicken and waffles... One of the best versions of this classic I've had. Came with a blueberry sauce and the hostess suggested I get some hot sauce too... Perfect sweet, spicy, crunchy chicken over a pillowy waffle. Daughter got the kids chicken sandwich and everyone else got specials. It was a delicious meal. Nothing fancy but really tasty. They had trivia going on the big projector but we didn't partake. They had a small stage with toys on it where my daughter played and did some coloring before our food came out. The staff was super friendly, and was able to satisfy all of our questions about the menu and offer suggestions when people were on the fence. I do not see us coming back often however if we are even remotely close to the bog turtle I'm going to be sure we stop in!

The building is really cool, and there were already quite a few people dining in the main room. We prefer to sit at the bar, so we saddled up and were greeted by a friendly bartender. I'd give them a higher rating, but the beer selection was a bit limited. (It's technically a distillery, but they also brew beer.) The beer I had was decent, and my wife really enjoyed her seasonal cocktail. Now comes the really good part--the food. The menu was interesting, and there were several things we wanted to try. We settled on the pepperoni wood-fired pizza, and it was phenomenal. A lot of places get part of a pizza right but miss on others. Alfred didn't miss a thing: the crust was perfect, the sauce was spot-on, the toppings were generous, and there was so much cheese. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Another highlight was getting to meet Alfred and hearing the history of the company. It's obvious he has a passion for his business and customers, and it's clear he's well-liked in the community. We will definitely be back the next time we're in town.
