Went for Sunday brunch and bingo that was advertised on their fb events, our waitress (can't recall her name, but she was nice & did a good job) informed us that they aren't legally allowed to do bingo anymore as they aren't a non-profit. That's a bummer but no biggie, the fb should be updated. Brunch has a lot of options, however it was a slow day so maybe the food being sat out since 10 (we dined at 11) was the reason it wasn't fresh, but the sausages were shriveled, and the sausage gravy was really more off a sausage water. Taste was ok but freshness and quality just wasn't there. I did not try the omelette bar but I think that would've been good. Our party also ordered a cheese pizza, which was overwhelming saucy and tasted like how I remember chuck e cheese pizza tasting lol. Loaded fries were not cooked evenly, the bottom layer was still soggy and undercooked. The sweet tea tasted burnt. The fruit, chocolate fondue, and biscuits from the brunch bar were tasty, chicken fingers a little soggy but not too bad. We didn't drink today, but reading other reviews it seems that the drinks are the main selling point for this place. I do think if I was buzzing off a couple drinks, and just needed food in my stomach, the food might be more enjoyable then lol. The ambiance is chill, I like that dogs are allowed. I think the food has potential to be way better with some extra effort. We ate enough, paid and didn't complain as being problematic isn't our style, but two of the employees we interacted with made comments about the quality of the food so that was validating. Went for Sunday brunch. The food was actually pretty good - omelet station was excellent. Bloody Mary bar was a colossal disappointment... A few bottles of hot sauce and a jar of olives doesn't count as a "build your own" in my book. Service was good. Wouldn't recommend going on a warm day, as they open all the doors and everything's open to the outside. Fans are VERY loud, and it's generally unpleasant. We were also disappointed because they advertised "Bingo Brunch", with a "bingo" that never happened. There's always a group of us that goes every so often, and every time it's a really great experience! Our server, I believe their name was Lacey, was very sweet. Even though it was a pretty busy night, she came back to check on us often. Other employees would come around as well to grab empty dishes and cups regularly. First time at Easy Speak. It was recommended to us by a patron at another bar. He said Easy Speak had great burgers. Upon entering I could see that it would be a cool place to go and meet friends. Good mixed crowd and good ambiance. Our waitress, Morgan, was great. Although we went there for burgers, we didn't see any on the menu so we had the Old Bay wings, Pigs In a Blanket, Bacon & Jelly and Meat Lovers Pizza. I really liked the Pigs In A Blanket. It had a nice spiciness to it that wasn't over the top. I tried the American Mule with the pomegranate. I didn't love it. It wasn't bad but I think I would have liked it more without the pomegranate addition. We tried their peach bourbon and regular blended. Didn't care for the peach but liked the regular enough to buy a bottle. I would definitely go back... especially to try the burgers. I would also recommend it. read more

I was visiting from out of town, showed up to play the weekly open mic and the host wouldn't let me play at the open mic. The bartenders didn't understand the difference between karaoke and an open mic. Not worth the 2 hour drive I detoured to play that open mic... Edited: Just talked to management and they were extremely nice and helpful, they explained it wasn't the normal open mic host and they do want original music and songwriters at their venue. I'm excited to go back and see what the normal host does. Side note the beer is really good! read more

My wife's family came to town to visit to help us move to town. They came here to eat Friday night and ended up buying a bottle of the bourbon you all made and was praising it over and over. So we all decided to come there and this was not a disappointment. I am so excited that we are going to be living in town and can visit here as much as we want. Our waiter was a really cool young man. He was very knowledgeable and didn't write a single thing down. He also didn't mess anything up so that was very impressive. Ha ha. The appetizers were spot on. We had the shrimp, the goldfish, the bacon and pretzel bites. There were six of us and that definitely did not disappoint. For dinner most of us got different quesadillas and a margarita pizza. Everything was incredible. And of course for the grand finale, the Brookie. There was literally not one bite of anything left in the bottom of this pan. I don't remember the exact name of my drink but it was some honey lemon drink and I opted out of gin and subbed bourbon. Second time visiting here so I figured it's time to review. The atmosphere is cozy bar feel with attentive service. Looks like they are expanding things up a bit more which means business must be doing good. They just added a few new menu items like the roast beef sandwich which l was massive and half boxed up. This is one of my absolute favorite restaurants. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! Servers are also great and always efficient, happy and polite. The atmosphere, food and the drinks are Amazing. The bartenders know their mixology and it showed in the drinks. Great place to hangout, chill or go out on a date. I love the way the place is decorated. The owners and staff are very friendly and out going. Easy Speak also makes their own Alcohol (Vodka, Gin, Rum, and Bourbon) which is always delicious. I Love the Philly Cheesesteak Pizza (AMAZING). The beer selection seems good, there are a lot of local beers and I enjoyed the one I got. Jalapeño poppers - Not much seasoning in the filling, and to call the bacon used in this item "famous thick cut bacon" is just rude. Just call it regular ass bacon if there's not going to be anything special about it. There was no Smokey flavor to the jalapeño, bacon, or filling. I'm not sure if cooking them in a wood fire oven should constitute "smoked." They should change the description of this entire dish. Caesar salad - if you're going to offer a Caesar salad without croutons call it "lettuce and dressing" or "Caesar Salad without croutons for no good reason" I'm pretty upset about this on a personal level. One of my first jobs was making salads and appetizers at a steak house and a lot of effort went into making some amazing croutons for an excellent Caesar Salad. I consider croutons to be an integral part of a Caesar salad. I would have asked a server about it but no one asked about our food after dropping it off. For shame! Philly pizza - I had very low expectations for this. In truth my wife wanted to order it. The pizza came out undercooked The table next to us sent their pizza back and we would have too if anyone had bothered to look at our table after dropping the food off. Visiting Ocean city, was looking for an experience found Easy Speak Spirts it was a little drive outside the city about an hr. Needed something to do on a cold and windy day. Found Erin my waitress will and excited to give us a tour. Not only was she her expertise in the distilleries selections expert but she gave us an unexpected tour. The choice were great from Beer to Vodkas Bourbons, Rums, and Brand very good. FYI they are dog friendly and they like people too! They have a nice selection of food choices. Recently, we had an overnight stay passing through DE, and we stopped by Easy Speak for dinner. I was not expecting much in quiet Milford, DE, but was thrilled to find a place so tremendous. Truly, this is a great place for Milford ... and anywhere! Though they have a wide selection of beers, this place is all about the spirits and cocktails. Our bartender Christina was a great guide, asking about our tastes and directing us to some amazing drinks: everything was delicious, especially the cold brew vodka martini. All their food is done in smokers and their pizza oven. We tried the smoked wings: WOW! Their jalapeno poppers were a spicy treat, and the smoked meat pizza was delicious (even when I put it on a gluten free crust). Yes, they were informed about providing GF options: the food was excellent, regardless if you're a gluten free or "normal" eater. During our visit, the owners Zack and Marissa stopped by to chat. They were awesome! Marissa and my wife talked about the great decor there (it is really cool there). They were so friendly: in fact, everyone was so friendly. Was looking for a good place to get good food so me and hubby went there this morning and we got an order to go staff were super nice they were more worried about the regulars but we were still treated nicely!!! We got two breakfast pizzas with sausage gravy omfg it was amazing so good with all the spices yummy and my husband got a skillet bowl he said was amazing and me and him shared a French toast bake which was banging!!! Ok, first of all I feel like I should address that terrible first review that was left... WOW! Talking about trying to ruin a business! These are serious allegations there buddy! In my humble opinion you shouldn't throw out an accusation like that unless you've got proof! Right as we pulled up, I checked Yelp and saw that terrible review. My boyfriend almost canceled lunch because of it! I still wanted to check it out myself since we were already there. (Otherwise we probably wouldn't have) Okay, now to the actual review: The place looks great, a lot of thought was put into decorating this place! Very nice! We sat at the bar, since there are only tables with 6+ chairs, so we didn't want to take the space, it was just the 2 of us. The bartender Charlie was friendly and offered us 2 menus. The menu is very small, so don't expect to have a large dinner feast lol We ordered the hand rolled pretzels with beer dip, which were fantastic!! Super flavorful dough with lots of butter yum! And the dip was great as well! We also had the wood fired buffalo wings, unfortunately they were waayyy to spicy for my taste, but again I'm not someone that likes spicy food. The couple of bites I got were very good, you can definitely tell that they came out of a wood fire oven. My boyfriend felt that they were pretty decent but a couple of the pieces were a bit dry. I also had a side Caesar salad which was wonderful! I wish I had ordered that in a regular size maybe with some shrimp! Fresh lettuce and not too much dressing. Went on a Sunday lunch a couple weeks ago and was so so disappointed. We ordered drinks and pretzel bites as an appetizer. We wait. and wait. and wait. Bartender takes awhile to take our actual food order, but if she was busy it's understandable. We order a pizza, and buffalo chicken dip. 45 minutes go by. Bartender hasn't said a thing to us. I ask if our pretzel bites are still coming out, she says nothing & walks away. Comes back with the rest of our food, and said they would be right out. All the food was cold. And 2 small cold little pretzels came out. Was very disappointed with the price we paid for a bad experience. Tried to support this place but we've been multiple times and had the same experiences. I was really disappointed with Easy Speak. I moved to Milford from Northern VA/D.C area last year and was looking forward to a restaurant/Bar that had that city feel I've been missing since I moved. Unfortunately I didn't get that at Easy Speak when my boyfriend and I went for dinner and drinks tonight. First - bar seats look good but are too uncomfortable to sit in. Second - the service at the bar was the type you'd expect in a busy place BUT it wasn't busy. Last (and the worst part), Bartender took it upon herself to set the tip at 20% prior to handing me the iPad to sign (to complete the transaction) without informing me. I signed the iPad expecting to be able to write in her tip and when that didn't happen I asked the other bartender how I could leave the tip and that's when she informed me that the other bartender had already input the tip amount. That's really unethical. Typically I tip 20% for good service and would have at least left 15%; however, I think that was shady. Food was decent but I don't know if I will go back. If I do, I won't sit at the bar. **The bartender did not give me the iPad to swipe my card. I got my tab then gave her my card (not knowing an iPad was even involved in the transaction). She swiped my card and then gave the iPad to me to sign. There was no confusion on my part. She set herself a 20% tip. She knew what she was doing. read more
