Meh, the quality of the food is not the best. It appears that they're not exactly trying to do the farm to table that they claim to be doing. The only thing I might order again would be the juice, it was the freshest item they had. Got the Chimichanga and again, it was just meh. It almost tasted like it had been pre-made and then chef mike (as in mike-rowave) reheated it. Everything was bland and somehow even the avocado seemed not quite right. It was perhaps nowhere near being ripe. Even the iced tea was stale. Also was overcharged for an extra ice tea that was never brought out, but just wanted to leave. Service was fine, they were busy and the server did their due diligence so we tipped them well. Not their fault that the kitchen and the food quality was not really there. Went to Eggspectation the next day, now that was delicious. I really used to like First Watches, but I don't know. Maybe it's just this one or maybe this was an off day? Yes, the potatoes were good, the over easy eggs were way over cooked and our waitress was way too pushy about ordering. Please learn to give the customer a few minutes to enjoy coffee and look at the menu. If they are in a rush, they will tell you! We were there to relax and enjoy the morning. First Watch is a nice breakfast spot with a eclective menu and reasonably priced food. Although Covid restrictions are semi lifted. I opted to use their curbside service. I opted for the Trifecta breakfast. The Trifecta is two eggs (cooked any style), Belgium waffle or multigrain pancake and your choice of meat. I went with the pancake and scrambled eggs and it did not disappoint. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the bacon was amazing. The multigrain pancake was light and fluffy, although I was not able to finish it because of the size. This pancake could have easily been enough for two people to share. The food was packaged well in the containers. All of the necessary utensils and condiments were placed in the bag. They have spots located in the front of the restaurant and a server brought the food to my car at the time the online system said it would be ready. The service and quality of food from First Watch was amazing. If you are looking to find a place to get some great take out food for breakfast, give First Watch a try. read more

Tried First Watch for the first time today. I was unaware that this place has been here for four years. When we walked in we were told the wait would be 40 minutes, which for breakfast or brunch is not a wait I'm willing to have. So we started to walk out and the manager stopped us and offered us seating at the high top shared table, which seats 8 and there were only 2 at, so thanks to great retention efforts of the manager, we wound up being seated right away. That was a pleasant moment of truth! As for the restaurant, it was clean and bustling. There was a large variety of breakfast, brunch and lunch foods to choose from. I had the breakfast burrito which was delicious! I also recommend the cranberry crush drink. It's so flavorful and tasty! The food did take a while to come out but they were busy and we weren't in a rush of any sort but just something to consider. I give this location 5 stars because we've been here multiple times and never usually have an issue. Food is great, the waitlist is great because you can reserve a spot in line, and the service is usually top notch. Today was our first bad experience. Ordered avocado toast and 2 omelettes. Took 45 minutes to get any of the food after we ordered and it all came out at once. The omelette was cold and basically inedible. Our server, Emma, didn't check in periodically even when she would walk by and see empty drink cups. I'm not trying to bash this place due to a 1 off, but I like to share every experience I have at places to provide realistic expectations. We will be back for sure! read more

Fantastic place for breakfast/brunch. We go there often on Saturdays after our kids gym class. Food is always good. Kids love the Belgian waffle and the Blueberry pancakes. We have tried several different omelettes and sandwiches. Everything is great. Nice beautiful space. Plenty of seating but still advisable to get a reservation before you go as this place gets busy. My hisband ordered his usual, Farmhouse hash and I ordered seasonal menu barbacoa quesadilla benedict. Avocado was not fresh in the farmhouse hash but it was okay. Fun little breakfast spot with a unique menu and reasonably priced food. I checked in on Yelp, went to check in and everything seemed fine. I had a 17 minute expected wait. After watching a dozen people get seated before me, I asked and the host forgot to check me in. So we ended up waiting about 45 minutes. Advice: double check with hostess that you're checked in if you use the yelp check in option. Place was cute and well decorated. Spacious, rustic, but not too rustic. I appreciated them leaving a coffee pot on the table. Saves me from having to flag people down. I also appreciate the fresh fun takes on some breakfast/lunch menu staples. I was a little hangry after the long wait so we started with the donut holes which were really ok. Soft dough, but pretty forgettable. The chocolate sauce was good, the créme anglaise was eh, and I'm allergic to strawberries so I had to pass on the berry sauce. Wife said it was ok though. My omelette was cooked well, but they gave me some pretty brown and sorry avocados. Either hit them with some citrus to keep them from browning or get fresher avocados. If they aren't in season, use winter ingredients instead. That was my only gripe. Potatoes were standard potatoes. The toast was thick sliced and very tasty. I rarely compliment toast, but it stood out for some reason My wife got a hash that she seemed to enjoy. I personally would have liked it better with sunny side up or over easy eggs, but who am I to tell my wife the best way to eat eggs with a hash? Service was ok following the check-in issue. As a fat guy with a big appetite, I was worried about the portions. I got a half sandwich and half salad and was honestly stuffed. Moreover, every bite was outstanding. Value: 5/5 (wish drink prices were on the menu. No prices, so I didn't order. ). Portions were filling and prices were perfect (Brunch for 2 was $22). They offered free coffee this week. It was meh, but it was a nice add. Service: 5/5. Seems like we didn't have a dedicated waitress, instead we got a team of folks running food, bussing, and checking in on us. Loved it. Done. Just done. Today, when I arrived and got seated, I was given a cup of coffee and their usual bowl of creamers. I sifted through it until i found some half and half and added it to my coffee. Before my waitress returned, little specs of white were floating at the top of my coffee, something that I have seen at home when my cream was starting to get old. I asked for a new cup and maybe some cream from the kitchen. She returned with it eventually and swapped my stuff out, without so much as a "sorry about that." I was given a little bit of cream in a Styrofoam cup. I ordered the "Traditional" with my eggs scrambled. I should have taken a picture of the laughable plate of food that I was given. Half of it was filled with breakfast potatoes of varying degrees of doneness. My "eggs" took up a small corner of the plate, were white from the cream added and dried out. And once again, I was given just a single piece of toast. Great. First Watch is a great concept. You have to love "farm to table" stuff. But this place has some seriously terrible execution. I've been there four times now as I keep trying to give it a chance, but every time, things just seem to go wrong. With Metro around the corner, Eggspectation open now, and the new place on Fashion Center Blvd that I've been meaning to try, there is really little reason to give First Watch a chance. They've had plenty of time to improve, especially at their high price point, and they continue to disappoint. read more

What an absolutely perfect dining experience. The moment we got to the door an employee opened it for our family and gave us a warm greeting. We were sat immediately, and it was clear the experience would only continue to impress after a very inviting welcome. Our waiter, Giovani, was one of the best wait staff I have ever had the pleasure of having. He was so friendly, helpful, and just all around a pleasure. There is quite literally not a single thing he could have improved on. He provided samples of the juices for us to try before deciding which to order. He made a great recommendation on a craft iced coffee drink. He helped with recommendations for meal picks, and he nailed those too. The food came out in a short enough period of time we were kind of shocked. The food itself was phenomenal. I had breakfast tacos, my wife had an omelet, a chocolate chip pancake for one of our sons and a nice bowl of fresh fruit for the other. Every bite was excellent. I've been to First Watch before but a different location and had a completely different experience. This location is located in a small plaza area and since we came on a Sunday morning, parking was kind of hard to find. There was only 2 in my party and we had about a 30 minute wait. Once we were seated, our server took entirely too long to introduce herself and take our drink orders. Once she did take those orders, we immediately told her what our entrees were. It did not take too long for the food to arrive. I got the French Toast with the Million Dollar Bacon. My friend got a classic favorite, the Tri-Fecta. My friend asked for her bacon to be soft, and when the food came out it was not, her bacon was crispy, so we had to wait even longer for the server to come back to ask for softer bacon. My French Toast was not that good. I've definitely had much better. But the Million Dollar Bacon was pretty decent. Not sure if it's worth $5 though. Overall the experience wasn't terrible. I just wish the food was a little more tasty. read more

My wife and I came here breakfast right before 11 am and the wait was typical, no problem there, but when it was time for the food and service it was a whole different story. I ordered the ham and Gruyere omelet with potatoes and toast and my wife ordered the shishito hash with brisket. Our entire order was given to the wrong table that was literally 3-4 feet next to us by the GENERAL MANAGER! Our waitress informed us and we knew anyways because we saw them bring out the food and give it to them, which they could've ordered the same thing but seconds later a waitress brought them the food they ordered. SO we had to wait for our food to be made again, since the General Manager messed up the orders. Now this general manager delivers food to tables that he chooses it seems and ignores the rest when just at least saying hi, good morning or something, because the table that got our food it seemed like he knew at least one of the young men since he stayed and talked to them for at least two minutes after bringing them their bacon and then the GM took out his phone and showed them something on his phone as well and while doing this he still had his gloves on he wore in the kitchen preparing food and serving food, which is totally unsanitary and disgusting. It is common practice to remove your gloves when leaving the kitchen, especially to serve food and most likely a Health Food regulation and I know this because I was in food management for years in different states and places and it was all the same. After he gave our food away and the waitress told us what happened and was very apologetic as we waited for our food. I told the waitress that our food should be 1/2 off for the mess up and delay and she said she would speak to the manager, so now we are waiting for our new food. It's been about another 15-20 minutes before our meal that we ordered came out and they were NOT RIGHT! My wife's hash eggs were to be over medium and one was right but the other over cooked, it was also supposed to have a garlic aioli sauce on it and it did not. My ham and Gryuere omelet was supposed to have herbs on it and it did NOT, but the original plate of food that I was supposed to have and was served to table next to us, his omelet had the herbs plain as day. I looked inside the omelet just to make sure the herbs weren't in there, even though their picture of the dish shows it on top and the table next to us did too, I know sometimes people make mistakes, but no herbs, barely any ham and not the ham they had pictured on the menu or website. the ham I got was cubed and sat sparsely in the center of the omelet making you not getting ham in a lot of your bites. There was barely any cheese in the inside or top either, it looked like a piece on top and a piece in the middle and just sloppily done. After this poor excuse of food, and service from the manager was not the waitress she was great, but at this point we had had enough. We told the waitress (Mary) that our food was not right and she apologized continuously and genuinely as she kept trying to get the manager to come out and speak to us. She did say after we told her about how our food was and she told management they took everything off the bill, which was no biggie because we didn't even eat 1/4 of our food, maybe 3 bites and she offered us to get something else but we did not feel confident of getting our food timely, and that it would be as it is supposed to be so we declined and again she said sorry and said she is going try to get the GM out to our table because he still refused to come out and just offer an apology would read more

Came on a Sunday with a friend to have brunch for the first time at this location we had made a reservation online which to our surprise was not accurate when we showed up in person to check in at that moment was when they decided to move us and place us on the waitlist. The system that is used for the waitlist is very inconsistent and doesn't makes sense if you're relying on it and traveling from a distance to come to this place it was truly packed and a better system could be in place. Now onto the food once we were able to finally get seated the menu is pretty straight to the point they seem very big on their sandwiches we opted to get the multi grain pancakes which was so good. Everything seems very fresh and fulfilling. A co-worker and I decided to eat here for lunch one day, since we were in the area, and this may have been the best decision we made that day. The place was crowded when we arrived, but we still got seated right away! It took us some time to look over the menu, but we knew that the million dollar bacon was a must, so we ended up ordering that as well as their french toast and the turkey blt. I was really hangry when we arrived at the restaurant, but nevertheless, oh my heavens, the food was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I loved the turkey blt--it was the best that I've ever had in my life! As for the french toast, which my co-worker ordered, I thought it was just ordinary, so I dipped a piece or two in the maple syrup that was drizzled on the million dollar bacon--much better. Of course, the bacon was delish!! It was sweet, salty, and had a little bit of a kick. Somehow all of those tastes went perfectly together. Overall, I'm a fan of the food and of the atmosphere. They were super busy, but I will say even being busy we were seated fairly quickly. The decor was adorable farmhouse style, then I realized it was a farm to table establishment. I got an iced coffee, I wouldn't take off a whole star- but it wasn't my favorite. I feel like it tasted like chocolate milk. I wouldn't get it again... BUT! My meal was phenomenal. The fruit was definitely fresh & not frozen. So good! The toast, and fresh jam was to die for... BREAD! Like the bread was good! How is that a thing?!
