Our food was delightful. We had veggie sandwiches and burgers, salad soup. Everything was delicious and served beautifully. Our server wore gloves and a mask and was very attentive. Our only complaint was social distancing. We were first seated at a booth across the aisle from another family.We asked to go to the next booth up as there was no one across from them. They were very accommodating and let us sit there. Two minutes later they seated another family across from us. Somebody was coughing at that table as well as someone directly behind us (there was a partition but still uncomfortable in that booth). We love first watch with their delicious food. I feel as if the food was a little pricey but it was very tasty. When I arrived I asked if I would be able to eat quickly as I had an appt, to my surprise I was in and out in just under 30 minutes and I must add that the restaurant was really busy. read more

In one word: sucks! Got our own water after we had asked the waiter (the 2x that he stopped at our table) & we got it from water dispenser at the front. We waited for the check for 15 minutes & did not see the waiter once so we went to the front to figure the total out. The waiter didn't even have the decency to apologize for the horrible service. My husband and I are regulars. We are so glad the Hixson location has opened. We love the variety of menu options, including plenty of healthy items. This weekend I tried the smoked salmon benedict. It was delicious! My husband(who is not a fan of salmon) even liked it. We also like to share one of their gigantic blueberry pancakes! Some healthy favorites of mine are the AM Superfoods Bowl and the Kale Tonic. I have yet to try anything I don't like. Keep up the good work, guys! read more

Great atmosphere. Quick and friendly service. Delicious, sustainable coffee. I got the steel cut oats witch comes with flavorful fresh fruit and a muffin. 10/10 all around. Only complaint is that it was loud but that just because business is booming. read more

Service food and cleanliness get five stars! I dined at 8:30 am and the temp was about 67 in the dining room. No wonder all but 2 tables were outside by the traffic! We have never been disappointed at this location. The other two in town can be a little inconsistent. But this one is always spot on. Their food and service are both amazing. Rarely do you see so many employees smiling in an establishment. You can tell they take a lot of pride in their jobs. It doesn't matter if you go there on a busy Saturday or a slow Monday the service and food are always the same. PHENOMENAL! The must haves are Million Dollar bacon, the Florida French toast and the chickichanga just to name a few. Their fresh made juices are great as well. Without question, the food is top notch, and full of scratch made deliciousness, but service needs to be looked at. Brought my family for breakfast, and everyone's meal was brought to the table except mine (a good long wait, but the got it there). They brought my side order of bacon, and I assumed that my meal would follow shortly, but unfortunately not. Several minutes later our server stopped by the table and asked if we were enjoying our meal. I asked if my omelet would be along soon. She then asked me what I ordered, and said that she was sure it would be along soon. Several minutes later, my food arrived...when the rest of my family was close to being finished. I then proceeded to cram food down my throat...not able to enjoy or barely taste it, in order to be finished in a timely manner, because at this point everyone else was just sitting there, waiting on me. This slow, inefficient service has been observed at both locations now. Really guys, the food is great, fairly priced, and staff is friendly....but unless you get it to the table, what good is it? Because the food is so good, you haven't lost me yet, but its a close call. I don't expect, and don't want fast food, I just want it in a reasonable time frame. Hope you get it together read more

The Dining Divas went to lunch at First Watch in Hixson January 16, 2019. There were 12 of us and we were seated immediately. It has a bright and airy atmosphere, were you can relax and enjoy your meal. Our servers, Tortie and Savanna were exceptional. They attended to our every need. You can tell they really care about the restaurant and their customers. The manager, Chris, even came to our table to make sure everything was to our liking. The cups are a good size with big handles, making it easy to enjoy your free coffee or hot tea, which comes with honey to sweeten. The presentation of the meals were very appealing and of great quantity. The food was absolutely delicious! The Honey Pecan Chicken Salad was the best I have ever had anywhere. From the eggs Benedict to the Cobb salad and everything in between was a culinary delight. The only drawback to the entire meal was one of the omelettes had a very good taste but was cold. They have health drinks that can help you get through the day. You can also get a glutton free meal. We enjoyed our lunch very much and encourage you to try it for yourself, we don't think you will be disappointed. We rated First Watch a 5 out of 5. Next week we are going to Portofina's Greek and Italian Restaurant in East Ridge, watch for our review. read more

I've been to this location since they opened and I've been a regular. The staff all know me really well. They always know what I want to drink and how I like my coffee. When my mom and I come in, they already know her order by heart. It's nice that I've bonded so well with all the employees here and they make it a little safe spot for me when I'm feeling down or when I'm feeling extra cheerful. read more

Just opened two days ago! My husband and I tried it and it was awesome! He had The Cobb Salad and the soup if the day and loved it. I got 1 Carrot Cake pancake and a side of bacon. So many of m y friends rave about First Watch, I had to try it. Truly a disappointment. Service was snail slow. I ordered Eggs Benedict with runny yokes and got runny whites (barely cooked). After serving the meal, I never saw the server until 20 minutes later. I paid, left gratuity, but give all my coupons showing up in y mailbox to others who like and tolerate less-than-mediocre fare. read more

Extremely loud, my grandmother asked to leave before we were even served. It was overpriced for the service and food. We had a group of 5 the first 2 meals came out then 10 minutes later another 2 meals came out then 10 minutes after that the last meal came out. The "side salad" greens tasted like they hadn't been washed. We also asked if they had any version of potatoes or fries and were told no, then 15 minutes after the last plate came out saw a plate come out of the kitchen with home fries. I rarely leave reviews. But due to our last experience I told my husband I had to. This restaurant is amazing. It has a really cool atmosphere and it's always very clean even on busy days. The staff is friendly and always on top of their game. On our last visit it was extremely busy and the manager noticed we had yet to be greeted by our server. Even though it had only been a few minutes. He apologized profusely and offered to take our drink orders and order because we were in a hurry. On top of that he sent out an order of their million dollar bacon which we had heard about but never tried on the house! It was awesome! He personally delivered our meals at lightning speed then came back again to check on us and thanked us for coming. There are plenty of great restaurants in Chattanooga but very few with this type of service. It's such a breath of fresh air to see people truly appreciate and care about your experience. This is an upscale place for breakfast. Thats not a bad thing but not what I expected. Selections are on the expensive side of things but most of them were good. There were issues with the kitchen, inconsistent side portions, one side of bacon came with 4 slices of bacon (which the calorie count in the menu would lead you to believe was a side serving) but one side came with only 2 slices. The Eggs Benedict came with no Hollandaise sauce and an order of scrambled eggs took 15 minutes to serve and were more like over easy but somewhat broken up. The cheesy grits were good, plenty of cheese throughout with melted cheese on top. Biscuits and gravy is made with turkey sausage, ok for some but not for me. Wait staff was attentive. Food is served by whoever is available, great to make aure its hot but doesnt allow your server to check for accuracy. Breakfast for 4 came to $65. There are other places in the area that are a better value. read more
