Just a little railroad themed, 24-hour diner situated on the edge of Chattanooga next to a gas station...this is Track's End! Our visit was during Covid-era, and I will give it to the place that they were social distanced with their tables, what few they actually have. In total, they had four of their seven booths open, two tables and two bar stools available for seating. The place isn't big, so I appreciate their efforts to keep folks as safe as possible while still allowing people to dine in. The set up is pretty straight forward for a tiny diner. You walk in the front door and are greeted by the register, bar, window to the kitchen and dining room. Service was one of our only issues, as our first waitress who sat us was simply unpleasant. There was only one other table in the place when we arrived and she just acted like she was annoyed with our presence. She was disinterested and borderline rude to start our meal. The only saving grace was the waitress who appeared half way through out meal and began waiting on us. She was friendly, joyful and helpful - she saved the day for sure! The food was decent. It was standard diner food, which isn't anything to complain about! We got a few of the featured breakfast meals including The Brakeman and the The Steam Engine. The Brakeman consisted of two eggs any style, meat (ham, bacon or sausage), hash browns or home fries, toast and jelly. While The Steam Engine, which is what I got paired biscuits and gravy with a couple of eggs any style and hash browns. Both meals hit the spot, the biscuits and gravy featured a fluffy and sturdy biscuit smothered with chunky and smooth white gravy. The hash browns were cooked crispy and the eggs were just how we ordered. Overall, this was a decent little place. Given the current situation, I would like to see a few more cleaning instances as when one table left, the waitress took a wet rag that was sitting on the drink station and gave it a quick once over. I am not in Chattanooga often, but if in the area again and in the mood for a cheap and filling breakfast, I may just swing back through Tracker's End.

    Railroader half eaten! It's huge!

This place was fantastic! The food was amazing and the service was great. Kelly was our server and she did a great job! I had the Railroader omelette and it was humongous. It definitely hit the spot and I had more than half left over. My boyfriend got the Dispatcher and he loved his as well. We shared a short stack of pancakes and those were delicious. The portions are huge, the price is right and staff was friendly. If you are looking for home style breakfast with friendly service, this is the place to go. We will definitely be back. The picture is of my Railroader when I was finished with it. It was the size of my entire plate when it was served.

    Omelettes they are BIG!

This was a really good experience, food was SO good and the portions are HUGE! You will not leave hungry. I have nothing negative to say about this place, definitely worth it and it's cheap!! Our server was super nice. We will be back!

Just some of their counter seating. There are booths and tables too.

We are so thankful for a couple who invited us to eat here before we took a day trip. I've driven past many times and just figured it was another deli or likened to a Waffle House. Its a quaint little place with 7 booths, 4 tables and 7 individual counter seating. The menu offers a choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner and they are open 24/7 and 365 days a year. The wait staff are the best. Very friendly and attentive to their customers. I often get the three egg omelette and my wife craves their biscuit and gravy. The prices are great and you won't leave here hungry. So, the next time you're famished and ready to eat some good food, this is a place I recommend. Dress is casual - jeans and T-shirt's or stop by after church.

Very interesting stories connect me to this place. First tine I went there after night in ER. And second time I went there after my husband's appointment. Not a cozy place but good for travelers. I dream of a place like this when we drive somewhere and have long trip... The menu looks simple but has no surprises. Traditional American breakfast and lunch. But being Russian I always look for unique moments and I guess this is not a place for it. Just simple good food and very man type environment. Not sure if I would go there just by myself. There are more men there than women. May be next time again after medical stories....

    Good pancakes. Huge.

I've seen this place as it was being built and kept wanting to try it. So on a Sunday morning looking for someplace to have breakfast, the BF and I stopped here. I had heard they had decent food. All the food titles are train themed as this place is adjacent to a private corporate lodging for railroad workers. It's very cute inside, diner style. We both ordered the "Casey Jones" which came with 2 eggs, choice of meat and two HUGE pancakes. I ordered a side of hashbrowns and the BF ordered a side of grits. The pancakes came out first and like I said they were big. You get two of them. They were really good. Not chain restaurant style, but just like a greasy spoon should make a pancake. The syrup was just soaked up in the cakes. I couldn't eat them all. Wish I could have. LOL. My eggs and sausage links came next and then my hashbrowns on another separate plate. Too many plates on the table, including my BF's two plates and bowl of grits. The timing could have been a bit better for them to just put the hashbrowns on the same plate as the eggs and sausage but it didn't really adversely affect anything. They just might want to work on the timing. The food was good, my eggs were just about perfect. No brown edges, which I hate, and the yolk was runny, though almost to the point of over medium, though I ordered over easy. Would definitely go here again, plus it wasn't crowded, BONUS.

The only item we were disappointed in was the wings (1/5). Now let me explain. Wooden city reads as a smart modern, quality of food type of location. The wings were great values finest: and thus were huuuuge and unappetizing. Yall pull up, just don't get the wings lol

Watching the chefs work their magic while enjoying Oyster Happy Hour was dinner and a show all in one. I sampled seven oysters from seven different regions, and my favorite raw oyster was the Cold Creek from Washington. It was clean, briny, and perfectly balanced. As much as I enjoyed the raw oysters, the true star of the evening was the Hearth Roasted Oyster. Buttery, silky, and kissed with just a hint of citrus, they were absolutely unforgettable. The Smoked Grouper Rillette was a pleasant surprise. Rich and smoky, it was elevated by bread-and-butter pickles that added a Southern touch and cut through the richness beautifully. The saltines were classic, but the twice-baked crackers brought an extra layer of crunch that I loved. The King Salmon Crudo was incredibly refreshing. The salmon had a delicate sweetness that paired perfectly with the fresh vegetables, while the serrano peppers added just enough heat to keep every bite interesting. Even the vegetables impressed me. The baby carrots were perfectly tender, and the chimichurri's bright acidity balanced the creamy richness of the toum. For my entrée, I ordered the Gramigna, which was fantastic. The sauce was packed with flavorful andouille sausage from a local butcher and finished with delicious Tomme de Lafayette cheese. Comfort food with a refined touch. To top it all off, the team surprised me with a strawberry gelato for my birthday, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The entire staff had amazing energy and worked together like a well-oiled machine. Sitting at the oyster bar gave me a front-row seat to the action, and my hands cramped just thinking about how many oysters they shucked throughout the evening. The aromas coming from the kitchen were intoxicating. The atmosphere was bright and welcoming, with large windows overlooking the covered patio. At one point, I even spotted a horse-drawn carriage taking a couple on a romantic ride outside, which felt like something out of a movie. The upbeat soundtrack kept the vibe lively, and the extensive bar menu offered plenty of creative cocktails and mocktails. A special thank you to Chef Ben, who took great care of me and even poured my aguachile tableside so I could capture it for a video. Chef Emery and Chef Skylar were also fantastic. It's clear this team takes pride in what they do, and it shows in every detail. This is an open floor plan, modern decor restaurant complete with a lengthy bar area. It is very open and modern except for the kitchen, which remains partially visible through windows from the main dining area. It was a Wednesday night and was surprisingly slow at 6:30, in terms of the crowd, or lack thereof, with only three other tables occupied during our visit. Our server, Jonathon, was very polite, attentive, and professional. Especially in contrast to my observation of the other server, whom I observed going through the motions of waiting in tables like a bored veteran server who might have been half drunk. Just an observation, but he kind of had our attention while serving a nearby table. He clearly knew what he was doing and mostly pulled off a good job, it was mostly timing and tone of voice and the way he was gliding across the room. Good for that guy. It was pasta night and that meant pasta specials, so I figured this was one of those, "our best game" dishes and ordered the bolognese with rigatoni. I also ordered the Appalachian Salad, which was spinach, radicchio, blue cheese, pine nuts, 5 oz beef tenderloin tip, red wine vinaigrette. I asked for medium rare and got well done. But both were fantastic. I did not think the bolognese would satisfy my appetite, it was filling, but I did t want to be hungry an hour later and the steak with salad deliciously helped. My wife had the herb crusted salmon, chive-pepper-corn couscous ragout, fried basil. And there was a lot of couscous, probably a cup and a half if not two cups. This too was delicious. I was intrigued by one menu item we did not try for $25 as an appetizer, deep fried egg yolks with crème fraiche and caviar. I know to get that, the yolks must be frozen, then breaded and fried to be crisp on the outside but runny yolk inside. I couldn't interest my wife in this adventure, but someone else try them and let us know? Staff were all very hospitable. Free valet parking for a couple of hours, right at the entrance in fact. Value was reasonable and good quality, quantity and flavors were very good. It didn't blow us away, but we were not disappointed. The only crazy thing was $14 for a small pour on a glass of Chardonnay, but that's the way it goes for dining out nowadays. This was a decent choice for our dinner out while visiting Chattanooga. I will say, Jonathon, our waiter, did a five star job.
