Easy Bistro was recommended to us by our friend who lives in the area.We had the happy hour oysters and espresso and dirty martinis. Our bartender Allie and was great. She was on top of our drinks and my friend is into scotch so Allie suggested a scotch flight for her. We stayed for dinner too because raw oysters doesn't fill you up and had shared appetizers. Definitely recommend this place if ever you are in the Chattanooga area. The restaurant is elegant and our valet person in our hotel told is there is a dinner and wine pairing menu as well.

Fries - So good!

I chose the Easy Bistro because it had been included in the new Michelin guide, though it hadn't earned any awards. I was also excited to stop in during the Oyster Hour. I was not aware that you can't order anything other than oyster during this time, except for a few other items (bread, shrimp, olives). Also, you could only sit at the bar or outside. It was a cool evening, but the heaters made it an ok place to sit. We ordered the Murder Point and Little Honey oysters. The Murder Point oysters were some of the best we've ever had, and we ordered two more. The Little Honey were too small to be enjoyable, so I wouldn't order those again. We also ordered some bread and butter. Folks, they brought out 1 1/2 slices of bread. For $6! It was just bread, nothing special about it. I would not order this again. I removed a half star for the lack of value. Luckily we came in at about 4:45 pm, so by the time we finished our oysters, we were allowed to order dinner entrees. I ordered the Steak au Poivre, which I though was good, not great. The steak lacked the peppery crust I associate with the dish. Rather, there were a few peppercorns strewn in a relatively non-descript sauce. I wouldn't order this again. The Steak Fries were delicious and some of the best I've ever had! I would definitely order these again. The service we experienced was not very attentive. The waiter didn't return after we had oysters for quite some time, even though I had told him from the onset that we wanted to order dinner. We lacked for water for long periods during our visit, not having received a carafe that some tables got. I took of another 1/2 star for the mediocre service.

Beef tartar

This time had the beef tartar and tuna tartar. It was amazing. They do not disappoint.

Went back to Easy Bistro for a birthday celebration on Saturday 2/7, and was not given the typical Easy treatment that we have loved in the past. The menu is quite a bit smaller and more limited, on top of that after ordering a few small plates, we were told maybe 20 minutes after ordering them that one was no longer available (all fine in the long run, but I would have expected that to have been relayed to the server before service started). Once entrees came out, all but one were brought and our server was no where to be found for quite a while to address it with her. Once the final entree came (steak) it was not up to par with the other steaks on the table. A manager came and apologized, but that was all- no complimentary drink or dessert for the hassle, once again, not what we expect from Easy. We had a party of 8 and spent quite a chunk of money and were completely let down. Truly don't know if we will be back after the experience.

Would you plzzz have your bread baked in loaf's and sold!? That SHIT WAS WILDLY GOOD. NEVER BEEN MORE ADDICTED to a bread. Pretty decent spot in general, good ambiance, the dining area is classy and clean, the service was beyond good, and kind. The food was pretty good. Except for one thing The fish/ seafood, had a fishy taste to it. Like most definitely not Fresh or was not handled correctly, the octopus and the shrimp, it can definitely be better. Great wine selection, i did get Cabernet Sauvignon and was served in a Bordeaux glass! but im a snoopy wine ass. Also one more thing, bathrooms NEED ATTENTION! reminded me New Orleans dive bars. that was def disappointing. But aside from that pretty decent experience for a small town.

Bay Beauts Oysters

We loved our waiter Jesse, he had such good energy! We had oyster happy hour and it was delicious!

One of the best dining experiences we've had to date.... Wow Chattanooga you're lucky to have Easy bistro. . We stumbled across this gem & had back to back dinners here. The cocktails are yum, the menu is perfect (innovative yet comfortable). The endive salad, the oyster selection is amazing, and the pasta was insane. The vibe is lively & fresh . We're bummed we didnt have room for dessert... but the profiteroles looked out of this world.

This is a must if you are in the area! The Oysters are 1/2 off until 5 and they offer a variety with a thorough explanation of the different tastes. The cheese platter was the perfect combination of sweet and savory only to be made perfect by the Manhattans. Very cool/chic vibe!!!

Every one of the sides looks so good and fresh that I wanted to get each one of them just to try it! The fish was cooked perfectly and was nice and tender. The added little muffin I didn't expect was a nice touch and delicious. The collard greens were SO GOOD. I'd get them again. So flavorful and cooked well. The beets were fresh and the goat cheese carried so much flavor. For the desserts, we got the carrot cake with pecans and chocolate cheesecake. Both were soooo good. I would get both of them again, especially the carrot cake which was so warm and moist. And the candied pecans were such a nice complement to the cake - not too sweet at all. The ambience is super nice and fresh, and our server was so sweet and engaging. The hostess as well. Everybody there was so nice and welcoming. Looks the part of an old style bar with well-worn wooden bar. Bartenders were friendly & attentive. I decided to try The Social Sour, which is basically a New York sour - a whiskey sour with a red wine float. Sadly, as an individual customer, that was not my experience on a Thursday night. I arrived a little before 7pm and I was warmly greeted by Drew. I told her I was excited to dine here, specifically in the bar, based on reviewers comments. Her friendliness and positive attitude assured me I made the right decision. However, the bar area was not as inviting or welcoming as the evening progressed. My bartender was cordial and asked if I wanted a cocktail. I asked if this place makes a good Cosmopolitan. He said "Do you like it tart or sweet?" (Never been asked that before, but I appreciated the question.) I said "tart" and he made me the BEST Cosmopolitan I've had in a while! It was served half in a glass and the rest in a small decanter surrounded in a glass of ice. Great presentation and even better drink! Just a touch of pink and nice and strong. 5 star start! Then, it went downhill. I ordered the Wedge Salad ($9) and the Seared Scallops ($18), both under the "Starters, Small Plates" section. Both were very good, with excellent presentation. I should have realized the "Small Plates" would only provide a few scallops (3), but they were very well prepared and quite good. After I ordered and the food was provided, little customer service was given thereafter. I had to ask for water refills twice. (When I finally asked for my check, I got a refill without asking.) During this time, only one other customer was in the bar. The two bartenders were talking to another employee about a streaming finale one recently watched. Eventually, the second bartender came onto my side and I asked if I could order one more item from him since my bartender never came back. (The first bartender was Josh, which I discovered when I got the bill receipt.) The other bartender took my order for the Pot Roast Nachos (as I still somewhat hungry) and the Nachos were absolutely fantastic, just like the reviews recommended. At 8pm, I left as I was the only patron left in the bar (I wonder why?) and they were cleaning up even though closing was still an hour away. The bill for two cocktails and the food mentioned above came to $77. Then, $13 was added for Tennessee state/county tax and also liquor/wine tax!!! Was my meal and service worth $100, not really. As I left, I saw the personable Drew and she asked me how the evening went. I explained and she apologized that it did not meet my expectations. I said I just think I came on an off night. However, maybe she should tell management that if only one customer is left at the bar, you should treat them with the attention and respect as anyone who came in earlier. I don't feel I received the service I deserved for the price I paid so sadly, I can only provide a review based on this one time experience.

The reviews looked well, so we went hungry and excited. The restaurant is gorgeous, loved the view of the restaurant as I ate on the wall of booths. We ordered the veggie pizza (great flavor, slimy texture from too many mushrooms etc 4/5) the ceasar salad (started with some finesse 4/5) and the jerk cauliflower(5/5). The only item we were disappointed in was the wings (1/5). Now let me explain. Wooden city reads as a smart modern, quality of food type of location. The wings were great values finest: and thus were huuuuge and unappetizing. Yall pull up, just don't get the wings lol

We visited during a snowy day in Chattanooga, which normally would have meant sitting on the patio. The patio is heated and dog-friendly, but with the weather being particularly unpleasant, the staff graciously allowed me to join my humans indoors as long as I stayed in my carrier. From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly welcoming. Several servers stopped by to say hello, compliment me on my excellent restaurant manners, and generally make me feel like an honored guest. The food was excellent, and my humans enjoyed their meal while I was treated to a side of chicken that disappeared surprisingly fast. The service was attentive, friendly, and genuinely warm throughout our visit. The restaurant itself has a comfortable atmosphere with plenty of character. One of my favorite features was the giant cow mural, which provided excellent entertainment while I waited for my chicken to arrive. I spent several minutes making sure none of the cows planned to leave the wall. What stood out most was how accommodating the staff was. They didn't just tolerate a dog--they made us feel welcome. Dogba's verdict: Great food, wonderful service, heated patio seating, emergency snow-day hospitality, and cows that thankfully stayed inside the paint.

Wonderful cocktail list with well balanced, well made cocktails. I loved my old fashioned and others enjoyed their drinks too. Very nice, attentive service from the servers although they brought out the oysters without telling us what was what and service was at times bumpy. The interior is nice, with it feeling casual but somewhere you could bring a date. And we enjoyed the lobster cakes which were well done, nice sauce, without overwhelming the sweetness of the lobster itself. So that was positive. Where it failed: the tuna bites on regular and not crispy rice was hard to eat. It was good but a little unruly. The halibut piccatta was VERY dry, almost bordering on inedible. Their special, which was a bento box was not great. The flavors didn't go together and their sushi eggroll had cream cheese which is very gross. Their steak frites was fine if not that memorable. All in all, I would come back for their drinks and their oysters but not sure I would come back for a full meal here.
