Went in for lunch and the service was great. They had several beers available to try. Food was good and came out fast. Inside was quiet and relaxed. Located in downtown Chattanooga next to our hotel the Hotel Clemons.

I ordered a salad, which was awesome! Beer was good and affordable. I miss the old location, but times change. Oh, our waitress was on the spot and very nice.

Beers were great! Strawberry Goza slaps. My husband had 2 different beers one that was great flavors and mouthfeel, the other one I wasn't a fan of, but he seemed to enjoy it. Brought our family here and our 9 month old flung half of my sandwich on the ground and they were beyond kind to make me a brand new sandwich, which was not at all necessary at all. The gals taking care of us were so kind and patient with our kiddos making mess. Lots of other families in here as well. Only down fall was there weren't any high chairs but understandable considering it's a brewery. Food was well executed with a balance of savory and acidity. I'd eat the pickle red onions on everything from the chicken nachos.

New location is great. Super convenient for the downtown business lunch and beer. In the evenings, it's a perfect spot to hangout- comfortable and easy access to games in the Hotel Clemmons lobby/lounge. The beer is good not great, and the selection is a little limited for a brewery. I'd love more sessionable beers, especially an IPA below 6%. Regardless, it's more than adequate for a bar- just not quite a "taproom.". I'd probably drop by more frequently, if not for my only complaint. I've never seen more than one bar tender to take care of the whole place. One person bartends, waits on and busses tables. It's stressful to watch and the management needs to figure out it's a dumb move. I was with a small party a few nights ago and the bartender snapped at a buzzed patron. It was a misunderstanding, but clearly fueled by a very rushed staff. I'd recommend dropping by for a lunch if they look slow, but hold off on evenings or anything potentially busy until management figures out that more than one person is needed to serve an entire restaurant.

Solid spot for good beer & food! My husband and I stopped here halfway through a bike ride for food + drinks and we were not disappointed! We sat outside, where we were welcomed by the staff and served immediately. We ordered a couple of beers and fried okra to start - so good! Then, we decided to split the buffalo wrap with fries, which turned out to be plenty of food for the both of us. We must have sat there for two hours just enjoying the weather and ambiance. Definitely one of our new favorite breweries in Chattanooga!

A very quiet evening sitting upstairs in their "mezzanine." I enjoyed two beers and a peaceful opportunity to enjoy some background socializing and Yelp reviews before heading to my overnight parking. Inside drinking. Outside drinking. Upstairs drinking. Downstairs drinking. Because I had already had dinner, I passed on any of their delicious looking food but the beers? Five stars. [Review 18838 overall - 367 in Tennessee - 2361 of 2022.]

Solid brewery. The cherry sour is one of my favorite sours I've ever had. Great place to go if you're looking to try local beers. The staff is really nice! They have darts, shuffleboard, and board games upstairs.

    Nope, patio only

Hello! Wondering if you have NFL Sunday Ticket? Looking for a place to watch our fantasy teams!

I have heard rumors that kids are not allowed in breweries in Chattanooga. Is this true? Making a trip with my one-year old and I really hate to miss out on beer just because I have him with me.

Hey, Rachel! Kids are definitely welcome at Chattanooga Brewing. No worries at all. We even have a kid's menu and crayons. Come see us.

On the patio that we walked past to get to the inside was a live band playing, and there were a ton of cute dogs all over with their owners enjoying the music. It was the cutest sight. Inside there are 2 sections of the brewery, but they had the front closed so we couldn't use the back smaller part. I liked the small part to be honest with you. It wasn't super small, but it was much more quaint looking. Service was super friendly, offering us a samples of anything that we would like to try, but of course, we ultimately got a flight. Luckily for me , they also had the Lions game on so I was able to see the end of the game and our victory. Only the back part of the brewery was open, with an indoor and outdoor area, a couple TVs, and eclectic decor. They were running a promo: $3 for a 10 oz beer or $3 for a 16oz beer if you buy food. We got the Bird Watcher Kellerbier and Sunblaze American IPA -- both were fine. We also got the Mission-style burrito with al pastor ($11), as a Super Burrito ($2 upcharge for sour cream and avocado). This was the worst burrito I've had in a long time. Al pastor should be a balance of sweet and spicy; this was overpoweringly sweet. The side salsas had no heat, either. Mission-style burritos are known for their size, but this was a normal burrito, smaller than I would get at Chipotle. It took about 20 minutes to get the burrito which was too long.

It's one of those places that's consistently good and easy to keep coming back to. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable. They have a patio area that's not fully outside, but the windows open completely when the weather is nice which makes it feel really open and airy. I actually had my rehearsal dinner here, and the staff was absolutely amazing and so accommodating throughout the whole process. Food-wise, I love, love, love their Italian chopped salad. The dressing is so good and it's something I end up ordering every time. They also offer pizza by the slice, which I like because they always have specific slices available plus a rotating "home slice" each day, they're also pretty generous size wise. The slices are good, but ordering a full pizza is definitely better because it comes out fresh. Another thing I really like is the adult fried cheese appetizer, which is basically like a spicy pepperoni and cheese egg roll and it's really good. Parking is typical for downtown. There's street parking or a lot across the street. Most of it is paid parking except for nights and Sundays. Overall this is one of my go-to spots in Chattanooga and somewhere I always recommend when people ask where to eat downtown.

It was a little chilly, but not quite "Ohio" chilly so we sat ourselves outside with a couple of hazy IPA aka Juice Bombs from Sloop Brewery. This brew pub is sandwiched between brick buildings: Stacks, a burger pub, on the right and another commercial building on the left. Across the street is the Police, so be warned, and don't get too funky. We asked if they had food and said no but it was ok to get some take out and eat it at their table or order from Stacks (what we did) and they bring it to your table from next door. Even better. Stacks' mushroom burger and stack cheese burger were very good too. We washed those down with another set of local IPAs called Southeast by Tailgate Brewery in Nashville, TN, also very good. Some of the tables have heating lamps which would have been nice as it got chillier. Not ours. But no sweat. This place does occasionally make their own beer as well but it's primarily a brew pub which sells other beer and canned beer from all over. I'm glad we had a chance to come. Now for the drive home. Thankfully we are less than 2 hours away. Atlanta here we come!
