    Honey glazed salmon
    Jacqui P.

The food was good...but not necessarily worth the price. I had salmon. It was honey glazed and cooked very well. The green beans and potatoes were good too. The calamari was VERY fresh, and VERY chewy. If you're into that kind of thing, that's good. (I'm not.)

Best buffet for the $ in Chattanooga. Good for a business lunch because it's quite. Easy to get to and parking is usually fairly adequate considering the location. Great quality considering how fast you can be in and out also. Of course the selling point to most is the fact you can eat a greatest and as much as you want for under 15.00. Menu usually changes daily and Sundays are the best!

Hunter recommended adding Pepper Jack cheese and Bacon, as well as the Brussels Sprouts with Maple & Bacon. Everything was wonderful. There were way too many Brussels sprouts. It also would have been nice if they were cut into smaller pieces. They had a special dessert of Blackberry Cobbler with Vanilla Ice Cream. This brought back childhood memories of my grandmother's cobblers. My husband had the Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream.

I made reservations about a week in advance (highly recommend), and even arriving a few minutes early at 5:00 pm, the place was already buzzing. The hostess greeted us immediately and had us seated right away. Our server was on it from the start: waters filled, drink orders taken quickly, and excellent guidance on appetizers. We went with the tomato pie, which sounds simple... but don't be fooled. The flavors are anything but basic. This is not an appetizer you politely share and move on from. It's plenty for four people, though you may find yourself quietly plotting how to secure the last bite. For our mains, we shared the warm beet salad and the beef picanha. The salad had such a great flavor pairing that even my husband, who is not a beet fan, loved it (a true culinary miracle). The picanha was incredibly flavorful and may very well be the best thing on the menu... except for the mashed potatoes. Honestly, I would go back just to order my own bowl of those mashed potatoes and call it dinner. Amazing service, outstanding food, and a great atmosphere. We will definitely be back very soon.

We tried a few beers from Five Wits and per her recommendation got the creamsicle shake as well. Solid beverage choices. The shake tasted part float part milkshake and it was absolutely delicious. Would order again. The food on the other hand was a bit eh. We ordered the Asian q burger and the mushroom melt burger and it took quite a while for them to come out and when they did they had unfortunately been left on the grill for way too long and were charred and crunchy. One set of our fries was cold and the bun to burger ratio was extremely off. Luckily, the staff agreed that our burgers were accidentally overcooked and they remade them no questions asked. The remade burgers were moist and better but still not fantastic. They were just burgers with minimal toppings on them. Not really seasoned and the flavor came from the toppings themselves. The buns were still too big for the burgers so there was a lot of extra bread and they have potential to be great but they were just average. Would have probably been a three star review but the staff and drink selection really earned the extra star. Would go back to drink and maybe snack but probably not order a burger.

When the weather is good, they have the ability to open up the back of the restaurant to their outside eating area, which is great. When the weather is uncooperative and the outside closed off, I find HFC to be a bit dark, with the motif maybe a bit dated. There's a full bar, with a very good beer selection. The service is always good, a characteristic of all the Monen restaurants. As to the food, there's a broad enough selection to satisfy anyone in your family. While the Philly brisket sandwich I had was just okay and I'm still trying to figure out the buffalo cucumber salad, the nachos and chicken wings were really good.

This restaurant is located in the Chatanooga Choo Choo train station building. The entrance is in the front, altough you might be able to enter from inside the station. I have been in the area numerous times and this is the first time I had dinner in this area. This was a late dinner, so we focused on sharing a few plates over a full meal. I did not write down the type of oysters on the menu that day, but got one of each of the rotating oysters. The poke was the star. Very nicely prepared with a wide variety of vegetables to complement the fish and rice. The kale was my least favorite, but the way they prepared it added to the poke. After trying different things individually, we mixed it into the biggest mess. She had the elderflower sour, which was a nice blend of sweet and sour, with cucumbers to offset some of the sweet. I usually get a old fashioned, but decided to get the Road Less Traveled, which was similar to my norm, but with a blackberry twist. I would definitely visit again, given the chance. Solid restaurant.
