5/5/2026 @ 2000 Ava my lovely bartender not only was attentive to my needs she has a really good personality. She made food recommendations which I got to go so I can't give a review on food but drinks were amazing. I took a photo I left here. I will be back and hopefully the bartender is as good.

First time at Community Pie, and it will not be the last time here. Joe was our waiter, please ask for him, he will charm you with his southern hospitality, knows the menu very well and will treat you like royalty. Our food choices were the Calabrian Wings, Greek salad, Super Supreme Detroit style pizza and a couple of Home slices and a ice cold glass mug of PBR. The wings flavor was just right, not too spicy, the size was plentiful and filling. The pizza was thick with cheese and loaded with goodness. The salad was enough for two. The ambiance was a great atmosphere, I really like the open concept. Please give them a visit, you will not regret it. They will definitely take care of you and you will want to return!

Pros: Good service BIG pizzas (Detroit style) Cool decor and atmosphere Cons: Pizza was ok. Skimpy mushrooms and undercooked "caramelized" onions. Garlic knots are just twisted pizza crust.

By far the best pizza i've ever had, we ALWAYS come here whenever we're in Chattanooga. Staff is always super friendly, the food is always incredible. Everyone really enjoyed the "hot mess" pizza, my favorite is the "sweet fig" you honestly can't go wrong with any of their pizzas.

We had an excellent meal at this downtown eatery just a couple blocks from our hotel and in the middle of the action on Friday nights for Nightfall. Amazingly kind service from all the staff. Excellent wings! So tender and juicy, not over done. Drinks were just ok in my opinion hence why only 4 stars. Definitely kid friendly spot, when we asked if they had crayons they offered to bring our son dough to play with. Such a hit for us to keep him occupied.

Great pizza restaurant in the heart of downtown Chattanooga!! The service was great. The staff all kept coming to bring us our orders and kept checking in on us which was awesome. There is a fully stocked bar, if you want to sit at the bar and eat. The dining area is fairly large with large booths or tables depending on the size of your party. I was craving a salad mainly and was disappointed in that. They used old romaine that was ugly in color but the dressing and Parmesan cheese was good. They have a slice of pizza "of the day". Today's menu item was the "hot mess" and it was delicious! The Buffalo wings were really tasty and meaty too!! Definitely think it's worth checking out!

Gluten free Detroit style. Vegan cheese.

Can I give this place 10 stars? A gluten free dairy free girl's dream come true. Detroit style gluten free pizza AND they have vegan cheese. We ate here 3 out of the 4 nights we were in Chattanooga. We built our own pizza with vegan cheese (extra) pepperoni, sausage and bacon. Delicious!

Stopped in for lunch today. Got seated right away in the front section with the roll up windows facing the street. Today's Home Slice was the Super Supreme. I ordered 2 New York slices. Crust was crispy and light, little char on the bottom, great flavor. The inside of the building was very cool. The only complaint I have is that neither the hostess nor my waiter bothered to clean the table that I was seated at. It was clear that someone had bussed the table after the previous guests left, but the table was not wiped down.

Stopped here for a quick bite before heading home. Great spot and delicious pizza. Street paid parking except Sundays are free. Service was great and the ambiance is low key.

Loved the restaurant interior - it felt authentic and ever so slightly gritty. Service was good, very attentive. Ordered the Detroit-style Spicy Bianca pizza. The crust was perhaps half as thick/high as it should have been. Detroit style crust should be airy and a bit light; this dough seemed underdeveloped/under-proofed. I love cheese but there was just too much; this, and the somewhat soggy crust, doomed this pie to mediocrity. The coveted crunchy, cheesy exterior crust was only fractionally present. I'd try the Neapolitan style next time. The 4th star was secured by the affable barkeep, who served me a scoop of delicious chocolate gelato and refused payment.

Despite clearly being short staffed and having a busy night - we were greeted almost immediately and encouraged to help ourselves to a seat. We sat at a table away from the bar (only one available) and a server came by to take our drink order. Before he could return, another employee - who was running food to another table - immediately came over to us after to see if we wanted to order food (which we did!). She took our order, then the drinks arrived and before we knew it the food was out and was incredible! The menu is quite limited - and even more so when you one of you doesn't eat meat - and yet we were able to make a meal out of 2 caesar salads, the hummus plate and the deviled eggs. And don't even get me started on the cocktails! We started with a Manhattan and an Espresso Martini that were perfectly crafted. And then for our dessert round switched to their signature Old Fashioned. Each one was better than the next! Thanks for an incredible time, Whiskey Thief. We will definitely we back!

If you want outdoor seating, get here early because space outside is limited. Inside, there's plenty of seating options with high-top tables, couches, and bar seating that create a relaxed atmosphere. We came mainly for the view and drinks, and the view absolutely delivered. Watching the sunset over the river was easily the highlight of the experience and worth seeing at least once. For drinks, we ordered Old Fashioneds and Margaritas. Unfortunately, both were just average and didn't live up to the setting or atmosphere. Service was also disappointing. The staff was not very attentive, and at one point we actually had to leave our table and go to the bar to find our waiter. In the end, the incredible view couldn't make up for the mediocre drinks and poor service. Great view, but this ended up being a one-and-done visit for us.

I ended up going with the taco flight and selected two Crown Jewel tacos -- the truffle mac and cheese with lobster -- along with one Island Banger, featuring coconut shrimp and mango salsa. Every single taco was phenomenal. The flavors were bold, layered, and genuinely exciting. What really sets them apart is their signature double-tortilla approach: a fried hard shell tucked inside a soft tortilla. It creates the perfect contrast of crunch and softness in every bite and holds up incredibly well to the generous fillings. Between the inventive combinations, fun menu, and the unbelievable execution, this was a top-tier taco experience from start to finish.

I can't speak to the other wait staff, but our guy clearly had other things on his mind. Every part of our visit took way longer than it should have. We were done about 30 minutes before we ever managed to get our checks and pay. So, I'd make sure to pay for a couple of hours of parking. I'm going to attribute all that to this particular waiter, and judge the place on its other merits. The person you get might be quick and attentive. All in all, this place wasn't my cup of tea, to be charitable. The decor was pretty over the top. Young adult is obviously their demographic. I'm 65, so take that into account. Taste, of course is an individual thing. Therefore, I'm giving the food about a 7, the ambiance a 2, and hope I'm never served by our waiter again .
