Unknown Caller was a cute, little fun vibe! We sat at the bar so the wait wasn't too long but I've passed it before and have seen a line so just be aware. The drinks were really good and the bartenders were super friendly! The food, is just snacks so you may want to eat somewhere before that, definitely more of a cocktail experience. They also have a small Photo Booth tucked away in the corner that's free and will text you the photos so make sure to check that out! Overall, will visit again.

We happened upon this speak easy by accident. But I'm so glad we did. When you open the door, and walk down the hall, don't forget to look to the left to find the phone and the secret code. If I had to describe Unknown Caller, I would say pink and purple. It is a pretty place with an upscale but laid-back vibe. I enjoyed their mocktail and highly recommend the Desert Rose. The three of us also shared their cheese board. It was good, but I wish it had had more cheese and bread. We visited after a concert at the Walker Theater, and we're glad that it was open late on a Thursday night.

    Back again!

Man-o-War is still my drink! Chance made it this time and it is tasty and consistent with the previous visit last May! Enjoy this casual drink while taking in the dimly light atmosphere.

In the Photo Booth area! Look at this fun wallpaper for a cool back drop. Hint: make sure to turn on the lights next to the Photo Booth

This place is all vibes! The absolute best. Servers and bartenders are always friendly and helpful. Drinks and food are creative and yummy. Ask for their conversation cards if you're on a date or even with friends! They also have games etc Don't miss the Photo Booth or the secrets people tell anonymously in the hallway. If you like an espresso martini bring friends and get the tower! This place is great for an after hours drink with friends or just a general vibe

Fun atmosphere with decent drinks. We had the Brie and pita and the Mac and cheese. The Brie dish was amazing. We had a few different cocktails. Presentation was top notch. We had no problem getting a seat at the bar, but by the time we left, it was packed. Music playing was legit!

Inside, the speakeasy is vibrant and energetic, with bubbles in the air, funky paintings, and a photobooth for added fun. The server was fantastic, recommending drinks that perfectly satisfied cravings and presenting them with flair. Overall, the @unknowncallerbar is a must-visit destination in Chattanooga. Have you ever been there? I'd love to hear about your experience! Drinks we had: - Division Bell - As The World Churns - Three Dots & Dash - Ube Colada - Pickle Dick (is a shot)

We were recommended this place by people from Murfreesboro and finally got to try it. It's a cute speak easy bar. Look for the light on the sidewalk. It tells you how to enter. Once inside the artwork and lighting make for a cool chill vibe. The cocktails are high-end craft. Our bartender Jose was knowledgeable, talented and very attentive. They even have a free photo booth! WE will be back.

Very cool spot hidden in a telephone booth in the middle of the city. The phone wasn't working when we stopped by on a Friday, so we just walked right in. Service was sooo friendly as we told them that it was our first time there and they explained everything. Inside, it's dark w/ a very eclectic NYC nightclub vibe. The bartenders were blowing bubbles behind the bar that was stocked to the ceiling w/ alcohol. The cocktail I ordered was a bit too sweet to my liking - and it didn't taste strong at all - which is why I'm giving Unknown Caller 4 stars. I'll have to come back to try something else to see if they can be redeemed. Overall, really cool spot w/ a cool vibe.

Such a fun experience in Downtown Chatt! Drink menu is always changing and has fun holiday items throughout the season. Amazing Sober Friendly options as well, there is something for everyone!

Appearance and vibe are pretty cool, the seating is comfortable and inviting, the drinks are great..... that's not why you should go. You need to go here for the staff. We had a great experience, everyone was super nice and made us feel like they were super glad we came here to hang out. If you're in Chattanooga, you have to plan to spend time at Unknown Caller... just don't take my seat please!

came here for a little birthday celebration and was blown away !! i already had high expectations because i've heard good things about unknown, but it went above and beyond what i thought it was going to be! the staff was extremely cool and friendly (i wish i got the name of our server because she was literally the best). they had their y2k theme this week so the place was decorated with old movie posters and even had a themed menu! i've not had many espresso martinis, but i don't think i'll ever find one that will be as good as the one i got here. i could have easily drank a whole tower of them by myself they were so good. with it being my birthday, they brought us out a cute surprise, and the simple gesture really was the cherry on top to a very great time we had here. unknown is definitely now in my top three for chattanooga bars and i can't wait to come back soon !!!!

My wife and I have never been "bar people," but we've been regulars since UC opened as London Calling in Dec.

At first, servers were scarce, but as I got up to go to the bar, the bartender must've seen me and was on his way. He took our initial drink order. At $14 per glass of wine, we just went for the bottle at $54 and a charcuterie board at $27. We are on vacation, so why not. The view is excellent. The weather cooperated. People watching from on high was fun, and the nature scenery was nice. Service was a little slow, but not an imposition, however, if it gets much busier, that could be a thing. We later learned they previously had a $10 cover, but we did not get asked for this and it must be a thing of the past, or I understand it is waived for guests of the Edwin Hotel (the bar's affiliated with the Edwin) but we had dinner reservations at Whitebird, the affiliated restaurant. The charcuterie was good with cheeses, cured meats, jams, crackers, etc. all in all, the star is the Al fresco seating and the River, and of course the company of my beautiful wife! So, go for outdoor seating and bring your own beau!
