Cowgirl Caviar Nachos!!
Cheri B.

LOVE LOVE LOVED the ambiance of HOME!! Both inside and outside seating... a fantastic greeter George at the door... so nice to be welcomed with a smile and have the door opened for you. The walls are decorated everywhere with graffiti type art, which was brilliant! Nice clean seating options, hi-tops, cute sofas and regular height tables. Super attentive staff bring a beautiful glass bottle filled with cold water right away.... so nice! Their smiling faces are ready for your cocktail and food order. We ordered Rosé and their Old Fashion, which was delicious but missing the Luxardo cherries and no orange peel twist (hubby is a connoisseur.) Rosé was delicious and the Cowboy Girl Caviar was so yummy too! We'll definitely be going back when we have more time... we were grabbing a snack on the way to a show. I loved the eclectic decor.... Highly recommend this restaurant! 5*

Chicken Picatta Meatballs on Mashed Potatoes

I love trying new restaurants, while you never know what you're going to get, that is part of the associated joy. We visited mid-afternoon, and while the bar was busy, my wife and I were the only customers seated in the dining area. The overall look, was spectacular, to include the rather unique bathroom. Paige, our server, was an absolute delight, her pride for HOME was evident, as she shared with us some of the future plans. The menu is limited, not sure if that's the long term strategy, but we were not disappointed by the three food items we sampled, the salmon-bacon sliders, the rosemary fries and the chicken piccata meatballs. The custom drinks took things to an even higher level, we sampled the Smoke Show, the Front Porch Tea and the Bourberry, all absolutely delicious. Looking forward to going back in the near future for both brunch and taco Tuesday

First time there. We were greeted by the doorman George who was very hospitable. We sat on the couches and it was such a grown up atmosphere that was amazing. Our waitress Morgan was very knowledgeable about the menu. The food and music were great. I recommend trying this spot

Nitro Espresso and Chocolate Banana Espresso Martini

I've been eager to try this spot, my wife had been once before we got to check it out together. Overall such a welcoming staff and atmosphere! From the moment you walk in a gentlemen greeted us by saying "welcome home" and it only got better from there. The espresso martini selection is amazing and even though I haven't tried it myself, everyone raves about the Mac and Cheese

Some of the fries were eaten but this was the general size of the $15 fries they served.

Highway robbery with these prices. The portion you receive for "619 Fries" that are $15 for 90% sour cream is criminal. Any San Diego native wouldn't dare compare these to California carne asada fries. The tacos were stiff and they didn't even chop up the protein choice. The fries didn't have chopped up protein either (which they didn't even bother to ask what the protein we wanted was despite having 3 options). Cocktails and drink selection are overpriced and just not that great tasting. Service was okay but nothing special. Wanted to give the brunch a chance but don't want to be disappointed. Hopefully the menu gets some TLC. Not mad at the product entirely but the price point just seems so random and not justified.

Can't recommend this cocktail bar enough!…read more We visited the bar late night while staying at the hotel and it did not disappoint. Despite clearly being short staffed and having a busy night - we were greeted almost immediately and encouraged to help ourselves to a seat. We sat at a table away from the bar (only one available) and a server came by to take our drink order. Before he could return, another employee - who was running food to another table - immediately came over to us after to see if we wanted to order food (which we did!). She took our order, then the drinks arrived and before we knew it the food was out and was incredible! The menu is quite limited - and even more so when you one of you doesn't eat meat - and yet we were able to make a meal out of 2 caesar salads, the hummus plate and the deviled eggs. And don't even get me started on the cocktails! We started with a Manhattan and an Espresso Martini that were perfectly crafted. And then for our dessert round switched to their signature Old Fashioned. Each one was better than the next! Thanks for an incredible time, Whiskey Thief. We will definitely we back!

At first, servers were scarce, but as I got up to go to the bar, the bartender must've seen me and was on his way. He took our initial drink order. At $14 per glass of wine, we just went for the bottle at $54 and a charcuterie board at $27. We are on vacation, so why not. The view is excellent. The weather cooperated. People watching from on high was fun, and the nature scenery was nice. Service was a little slow, but not an imposition, however, if it gets much busier, that could be a thing. We later learned they previously had a $10 cover, but we did not get asked for this and it must be a thing of the past, or I understand it is waived for guests of the Edwin Hotel (the bar's affiliated with the Edwin) but we had dinner reservations at Whitebird, the affiliated restaurant. The charcuterie was good with cheeses, cured meats, jams, crackers, etc. all in all, the star is the Al fresco seating and the River, and of course the company of my beautiful wife! So, go for outdoor seating and bring your own beau!

Considering we were 18 ppl he did a great job. We ordered oysters to share. I ordered the special bento box and my friends ordered the grouper, salad, hamburger egg rolls, serloin, filet and appetizer fish taco and many more. Food all came together and was very good. It was not cheap but we enjoyed the food and had a great time

It's not quite a 3 star but didn't quite meet a 4 star either. Let's start with what's great here…read more A great oyster program with delicious oysters from a range of East Coast locations. Wonderful cocktail list with well balanced, well made cocktails. I loved my old fashioned and others enjoyed their drinks too. Very nice, attentive service from the servers although they brought out the oysters without telling us what was what and service was at times bumpy. The interior is nice, with it feeling casual but somewhere you could bring a date. And we enjoyed the lobster cakes which were well done, nice sauce, without overwhelming the sweetness of the lobster itself. So that was positive. Where it failed: the tuna bites on regular and not crispy rice was hard to eat. It was good but a little unruly. The halibut piccatta was VERY dry, almost bordering on inedible. Their special, which was a bento box was not great. The flavors didn't go together and their sushi eggroll had cream cheese which is very gross. Their steak frites was fine if not that memorable. All in all, I would come back for their drinks and their oysters but not sure I would come back for a full meal here.
