Service was super fast! Food (shrimp tacos) was amazing. I recommend grilled shrimp! Lastly the beer was cold and refreshing. Place has got a similar sports bar vibe mixed with a Margarita Ville feel. Good for a single or group! Parking can sometimes get tight, so get here in time for Happy Hour! Highly recommended!

Fried pickles and beer!

Dive bar w/ college vibes. If you're looking for a place w/ cheap beer and tasty junk food, this is it. Mike's is always poppin' with people and on a sunny Saturday afternoon when I stopped in with family, it was a full house. You can order drink & food at the bar and hope the food gets to your table! We just ordered fried pickles and it made its way to us fairly quickly, but my sister's nachos took a while - but still made it eventually! Overall, good spot if you're looking for a good place to drink and hang out.

Too early in the day to quit working but at least I didn't need to have any more Zoom meetings. So I landed at Mike's for my final "office" of the day, taking a table for a few emails. I enjoyed a basket of their pickle chips. Tasty and definitely enough for three, served with some tangy dipping sauce. Neat spot and nicer than many of the "dive bar" joints I've seen. I like the outdoor seating and the indoor seating with the big "garage doors" open. [Review 18823 overall - 358 in Tennessee - 2346 of 2022.]

I love this bar!!! Trust me everything about it is great! The bartenders the waitresses the servers the food.!! The ambience here is everything that you would think it would be in a sports bar! Don't ever miss a chance to go to Mike's hole in the wall Chattanooga

Inside of this establishment! Upbeat yet down home Food is great too !!

Best food and cold beer and friendly staff and patrons I recommend Mikes for whatever you are up for

Delicious, large cheese pizza.

If you're looking for a dive bar with great outdoor seating, plenty of room and good food - this is it. Security is great here as well. The service is hit or miss but is steadily improving as they continue to hire on more people. Place fills up quick on nicer days or sporting events so arrive early if you want a seat. Don't come on Friday or Saturday or during events if you're looking for a quiet place - they usually have the music up loud. I recommend the pizza - it's my favorite in town. We ordered the frito chili dish which was good - just needs MORE chili. I also know they are currently working on expanding their menu which is exciting!

Love this place, typically it's a great Thursday or Friday night spot to meet up with friends for some drinks however, my wife and I went for a little midday stop with our dogs and had a great time! There were lots of other dogs on the patio which made for a real fun time. The food was very tasty and as always the drinks were ice cold! The egg rolls are now one of my top choices!

And the funny thing I have to say is that finding some of the best nachos all the way in Tennessee was a total shocker! Part of it is just because they take this large sheet pan and spread the chips out over it so every chip has a topping. You're not left with a giant pile of chips that are totally naked in the middle of your pile of nachos. But I have to add to that that I got brisket nachos, the brisket was really wonderful, it was just savory and tender. The barbecue sauce is on the table were wonderful I'm just about anything. They have these great couch seating areas in the middle that were so much fun and just perfect for a family. And if you have even room for one bite, get one of their turnovers! Apple and blueberry turnovers are excellent! The cherry was not as good, but the pastry is divine. But it is super light and flaky and everything you could ask for in a baked treat.

Maybe that's just because it was early, but is always a plus to find a place we can hear each other talking. Our waitress was knowledgeable and went above and beyond when I had menu questions about what I could have with my dairy & wheat allergies. My friend had the smoked wings which were fantastic! I tired out the vegan nachos which were a letdown. Overall the flavors were great, but it lacked in volume of tortilla chips, too many pickled red onions. They were unbalanced and messy, felt more like a weak salad than nachos. Will be checking them out again some time.

We weren't disappointed. Exile Off Main Street is undoubtedly a great spot if you enjoy local craft beer, a lovely outdoor patio area, with down-home vibes, no pretense, and you can come as you are. From our Airbnb (above the Fountainhead Taproom), we walked all of a block to Exile Off Main Street. With COVID-19 forcing only outdoor seating, we had our pick of the litter with patio and wooden tables with patio furniture to chill with brews. The gentleman behind the window was very nice and quickly took our order on various cans of beer and cider we enjoyed. We sat there at our table for a couple of hours, enjoying the music coming from the outside speakers. A few people were seated scattered amongst the spacious patio as we enjoyed the beers. I enjoyed cans of The Promenade American IPA by Hutton & Smith Brewing and Keypunch Sour Gose by Urban Artifact. Both were solid beers perfect for the summer temperatures and energy on this particular July evening. Exile Off Main Street is highly recommended for those who like good craft beer and vibes if you're not looking to hang off of Market Street in downtown Chattanooga.

Service As soon as we made it downstairs, the bartender let us know it was last call for the kitchen in 2 minutes. We quickly glanced through the menu and ordered the Verde Chicken Tacos, Bulgogi Philly, and fries. Though the kitchen was about to close, they still took the time to ensure all the food was cooked to perfection and came out piping hot. Bartenders were friendly and very patient. Food I was surprised to see Bulgogi beef in a bar, but I was pleasantly surprised at how great it tasted. Had a mild spice but a good depth of flavor as it was presented as a Philly cheesesteak, which made sense in this type of setting. From the melted Swiss cheese to the crunch of the bell peppers, the sautéed onions, and the tender beef, you can't go wrong with this option! The Verde Chicken Tacos had plenty of fresh toppings that added to a well put together taco. On the Spicy Piña Margarita, it was not as well balanced as I'm used to, so I would try a different cocktail when I go back. Ambiance We were already greeted by some patrons leaving, and they wished us a good time as we walked into the establishment. The vibe was chill and relaxed. We played some board games the last time we were there and it just really added to the laid back nature.

So on my first mainland trip in a couple years, I have been trying different burger shops. Jack Brown's had really high reviews, had a super fun vibe, and a really creative menu, which I love. Service was on point. Let's get the elephant out of the room right now - the size. lol I was prepared for a small burger from all the reviews, but, Shake Shack has a small burger, Jack-in-the-Box has a small burger. It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight and the dog. But I ain't gonna lie, that is one tiny burger! It's like...five bites? One for each corner, and then the middle. lol They might be better off coring the middle, and marketing them as hamburger donuts. The easy fix is just order an extra patty for a few bucks more. Same as Shake Shack. The other thing I have a problem with is the, "we don't do lettuce or tomato..." line. Sorry, that's like a pizza with no toppings. Really, it just sounds like they found a way to reduce overhead by not having to prep and pay for vegetables. But whatever... if great burgers can be made without lettuce and tomato, and without a big patty...let's get it on. I'm sorry, but that patty was charbroiled to the point of no juice. This is where a tomato might help with moisture. lol I don't see how this is actually Wagyu. A Wagyu burger should be melting in my mouth. I don't know what happened, but it reminded me of my first job at Burger King, running whoppers through the flame broil conveyor belt. If you got one that just came out, you scored big time. But if you got one that just sat in the warmer for 10 minutes, you got a dry burger. It was a very disappointing burger. Then again, I just had a Shake Shack burger yesterday, and it was nomnom greasy goodness. Of course I was going to be disappointed. It's like Ozzy Osbourne following up Slipknot as the opening act. The fries were great. They came in a huge basket, and the price was very reasonable.
