Very cool vibe, a mix between a dive bar and a lounge and the theme of cinema and the plays on words in the menu and on the signage are very cute. We came in on a Monday night, glad it was open, it was definitely empty though other than one other couple, and the bartender was so nice. I believe his name was Matt, but I can't remember for sure. I love that the menu has different movie posters for each cocktail, and a magazine-like cover, it really sells the theme. They have so many drink options I wasn't in the mood for a cocktail so I opted for a high noon, the ambience was great and I love the "emo Mondays" as they called it. This was a unique little bar. It was very small and had a large garage door roll up front entry which meant on this 94 degree day it was hot and humid even at 8pm inside. The bartender was nice but not overly friendly or welcoming and there were only 2 other people there. Plenty of live plants make the asthetic unique and the music was bad but that is only my opinion. Many would have loved old Michael Jackson and 1984 rappers. My drink was just ok but came in a real cup with nice bourbon so I'm sticking with the 3 because those are positive things. I had the Yippee Ki Yay Motherf***er which was delicious and was served in the cutest Santa pant & boots shaped mug. My husband ordered the Christmas Cricket and said it was good with just the right amount of mint flavor. There was even a drink in a dinosaur cup that looked super fun!! Was in town on a road trip and found this place online. It looked great and the happy hour was promising as we were off work for the week and could make the happy hour. Currently the bar is set up very nicely for Christmas in an 'all out' way I really appreciate. Drinks were a little pricey and we found out while closing out our tab that the happy hour doesn't apply while the Christmas season specials are going on - I think it would have been nice to be given a heads up as it's proclaimed to be everyday on their website. My friend and I met here for drinks Saturday night. The ambiance is "hip and cool". The entrance is a garage door. There is a long bar and nice booths against the wall with a cocktail table. The playlist for the bar was great that night with smooth hip hop and a little pop mixed in. Although there was a study flow of patrons, it was never crowded at any given time. This is a bar, only drinks are served. Although they have their signature drinks list which are $13, they can make anything. With that being said, the drinks were not made well. We were both very underwhelmed. One of the drinks, vodka and soda, literally tasted like water. All drinks were pretty, but out of 4 drinks each, only 1 tasted good and all seemed to lack alcohol, as we felt nothing. When we complained to the bartender about the taste of 2 drinks, they were not even concerned. One drink we told them, the soda was flat and bartender stated well she had been using the soda all day.
