Great service! Chastin was a great waitress! Loved sitting on the deck looking at the TN river Food was great!

We were greeted and sat outside per our request. It wasn't too busy at the time and were able to pick our table. It quickly filled up so I recommend reservations. My husband and I just wanted a drink and appetizer. The strawberry coconut margarita was such a hit, I had three. We also had THE BEST charcuterie in all of Chattanooga. I am a snob when it comes to charcuterie and this one takes the cake. I will definitely go back for entrees just based on the service, high quality food, atmosphere, and the owners hospitality.

sweet little note with our bill.

This was by far my most favorite meal since moving here to chattanooga 3 years ago. Atmosphere was cozy and relaxing. Service was kind and attentive. Food was amazing!!! We will definitely be back!!!!!

We were looking for a brunch location while camping nearby and this was great. Walked right in on a Sunday late morning. My Greek omelet was delicious and my husband had the fried catfish, equally delish! Staff was attentive and pleasant. The only thing I found slightly odd.... I had to ask for salt and pepper and they brought out a small dish with salt in it that I had to use my fingers (and hopefully only my fingers) and then the large pepper mill that the server had to use to provide pepper. I would have preferred individual salt/pepper shakers. Overall, very nice place!

It has only been open for a month and I feel like that's important to note. I had the Shrimp & Grits and it did not have much flavor. I feel like adding sausage would be a huge improvement! We were really looking forward to trying the hushpuppies but there are no appetizers/shareables on the brunch menu. My husband really liked his catfish sandwich and our son liked his brunch burger. * Their hours are central time which is important for anyone in the Chatt area *You can bring a bottle of Prosecco on Sundays and for $10 they will provide juices We will definitely try it again!

Pretty bad for the price point. Nice white tablecloth place, but first thing you notice is the staticky loud music. No ambiance at all. Ordered drinks, martini for me with the Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin, my favorite new gin for a straight up martini. For $14, I expect it to still sparkle, but this was less than an ounce and completely watered down. No ice floating on top. Husband's "Mr Banks" old fashioned was served in a dirty glass, smelling of fish. Gross. His clever wife poured out a glass of water and replaced his stinky glass. Didn't see our waiter for a long time until he delivered our entrees and said, "Your salads are right behind me." Now, we are super nice people and always understand when a waiter is in the weeds. Mike used to be a server in college. But by now I was pissed because of the $17 fish drinks and the 30 minute wait for a salad. It's not the waiter's fault, but WTF DUDE? I made him smell the fish glass and take the drink and salads off. He agreed, but he should have asked a manager to come out. He did not, unfortunately. Now we just won't be back and we'll write reviews. The food was a mixed bag. Great char on the salmon and green beans, but the dill sauce was so greasy and salty, I washed it off with my lemon juice. Mike had Wagyu baseball and baked potato. The fact that baked potato is not a regular side should have been a warning. The sous chef is not familiar with potatoes. Or temperature? It was cold. The butter and cheese wouldn't melt. When I was finished, I placed my fork and knife crossed on the plate, international sign for "take my plate away." Here it sits as we wait (and wait and wait) for the check. Don't bother with this odd place.

Excellent service. Food was exceptional. The owner came to the table to introduce himself and say thank you for coming out. We ordered the catfish and crawfish cakes and hush puppies.

Atmosphere is relaxing. We sat by a window. The view was beautiful. We were seated right away. Could be we got there at a good time. Place was packed when we left. But they had no one waiting. The food. Yum! My friend had the sore isl of the evening. Red snapper on a bed of grits. Her husband had fish n chips. My husband had , I can't remember the name. But it's like a variety of shell fish in a red sauce. Like soupy. I had pork tenderloin. And mashed potatoes. VERY good. For desert. We ordered coconut cake. I didn't care for it. But everyone else did. It had the texture of " tres leches" I don't care for wet cake. Overall. We will be going there again.

Delicious meal!! All four of us loved are meal and service. Pork Chop was amazing!! Seasoned shrimp my wife said was delicious. Our friends loved their pork tenderloin and shrimp!! Madison was a great waitress. Highly recommend!! FYI Central time zone.

The beets were fresh and the goat cheese carried so much flavor. For the desserts, we got the carrot cake with pecans and chocolate cheesecake. Both were soooo good. I would get both of them again, especially the carrot cake which was so warm and moist. And the candied pecans were such a nice complement to the cake - not too sweet at all. Wound up at the aquarium for a couple hours and ended up hungry at the very end of it. Not far from where we were parked we found the Wooden City conveniently across from it all (dare I say a brisk walk's worth) with Mellow Mushroom and Ben & Jerry's establishments at both corners. We were given the options of staying inside or being placed outside and we chose (biased a lil) the opportunity of eating outside. We were taken care of accordingly by Jonathan, who is a perfect example of someone that makes tourism worth it, we chitchatted back-and-forth and came across some great options on our appetizers and drinks. While we waited for drinks, we were served water with ice as the weather outside was pleasant but a little too hot for the afternoon... When the appetizers arrived, we were greeted by not only demonstration, but taste above what I've had as of recent. Wife enjoyed the freshness of the tomatoes and cheese whilst I was mesmerized by how subtle and uber smooth my Old Fashioned was. We unwinded and talked about our day here in this city and then our next meal plates arrived. I had the very unique and well presented Beet Ravioli and the wife had the exquisite Spicy Lamb Rigatoni. Immediate upon arrival to our table my wife and I exchanged a bite of each other's plates to give a chance for our taste pallets to experience one another. The Beet Ravioli took back my wife to a time where she made something of similar taste and the Rigatoni took me back to California when I tasted something familiar then. Towards the end, I saved the location at the name of the restaurant, as I would like a near future to come back and visit with more time. Jonathan was an absolute help for our satisfaction in Chattanooga and we are thankful.

We were seated promptly, our waiter was friendly and attentive, and our drinks and appetizer came out quickly, so the evening started off on a positive note. Unfortunately, when it was time to order our entrees, we were told that several menu items were unavailable. I ended up having to choose something I normally wouldn't have ordered because so many of the options I wanted weren't available. My son enjoyed his meal, but my chicken gnocchi was very disappointing. It had almost no flavor, and the texture was so soft that it was more like mush than a pasta dish. To make matters worse, the air conditioning wasn't working, and while I understand equipment can fail, the dining room was quite warm despite several fans running. Our server was kind and did his best, but overall the experience didn't match what I would expect from a high-end restaurant. Spending nearly $200 on a birthday dinner that ended up feeling average at best was disappointing. I hope the restaurant can address the menu availability, food quality, and facility issues because I really wanted this to be a memorable celebration for my son for all the right reasons. I really want to come back and have a better experience.

Everything about this experience was top-notch! From being seated quickly upon entering, to explaining how the ticket validation thing worked (more info at the end), customer service was some of the best I've been shown. The ambiance is chic but casual-great for both cozy date night or fun family night. Our server was so friendly and patient as we asked questions about the menu. I ordered the grilled salmon with spicy crab remoulade and my guy ordered the smoked wings with a side of fries. I was happy that I was able to select my own sides from the ones on the menu so I opted for the fried Brussels sprouts with maple and bacon and the buttermilk whipped potatoes. After a short wait, our food was brought out. This was truly one of the best salmon dishes I have ever eaten! The salmon was cooked to my liking, the potatoes were soft and fluffy and the fried Brussels sprouts were absolutely divine and perfect. The remoulade was a little salty but it may have been just been my taste. The potatoes helped with that so it was not a deal breaker. My guy was pleased with his food as well and I could tell he enjoyed everything he ate. We agreed that we would take this trip back just to eat this meal again. It was truly a wonderful experience, from beginning to end. I highly recommend trying this gem out! Pro Tip: The restaurant validates parking. If you park in the lot across the street, do not prepay on the app or online. Ask the servers at the front to validate to save the $18 parking fee before you order and within 15 minutes after entering. I had a mocktail made that was very good - and they only charged $5 for all mocktails which I appreciate. As a non-drinker it irritates me to pay $13-18 for juice that doesn't even have alcohol. I chose the house salad and it was by far the best I've ever had. Loaded with fresh veggies, delicious dressing, cheese and some breadcrumbs I think. Great size and portion for the price and fabulous combination of items. I chose the salmon with peaches and cream couscous. The salmon itself was wonderful - but that couscous was so good, I could not stop eating it. It had corn and fresh peaches and it was the perfect combination of salty and sweet. For dessert - I went with the Chocolate Bomb.com but found it to be wayyyyy too salty with the toffee, salt, and combo. I wish I'd gotten their famous cheesecake but, next time! The space is attractive, though it's far from being any sort of "tavern". It's rather loud, industrial. The worst aspect of the space are the tables for 2, which are small cocktail tables, really sized to hold a couple drinks, not dinner for 2. One is left with the impression that they're more interested in fitting as many diners as possible into the space rather than providing a fine dining experience. So much so that the wait staff apologized for the table size several times. Menu varies with the season, though we found most items on the online "sample" menu were on the dinner menu that night as well. Roasted oysters were plated very attractively, the oysters were plump, and the topping tasty, though several of mine were refrigerator cold - clearly made in advance and not properly heated for serving. Starter of sourdough bread with chili oil. The bread was wonderfully rustic, the chili oil was actually garlic oil. For my main, I had the "signature" trout. Pleasant enough, a nicely cooked filet swimming in a brothy sauce. Accompanied by a few small rounds of potato, what amounted to a single thinly sliced fingerling, I left hungry and considered stopping for a burger on the way home. The wife was underwhelmed with the duck. Kudos for providing an upscale dinner destination in Sewanee. Though not an option that we'd consider revisiting.

It was also a beautiful day so we sat on the patio. I love that they work with local organizations for fresh vegetables and meat! Our waiter was very nice and fairly attentive. But the food... For the good - the crab cake was delicious. It was like all crab meat with no filler and was very tasty. The pimento cheese was also SO yummy. You could tell it was made fresh and had a great flavor. The pita it came with was fine, a little over-grilled. I was not crazy about the fried okra. I wish the pieces weren't just cut in half, because to me they had that slimy okra texture inside. My gf said they weren't THAT bad, but I really had to push myself to eat them. The rosemary fries have a great flavor and were crispy (I prefer thicker fries but my gf enjoyed these). I LOVE mac and cheese and was super excited to try theirs. It was very creamy and had a good flavor but there was way too much cheese for the amount of noodles. Like the ratio was pretty off. Now for THE issue. My gf ordered the Filet Mignon, medium. It came raw and without the blue cheese compound butter. By the time the waiter came to check on us, I was half done eating. He took the steak to be put back on the grill and brought it back with a bowl of crumbled blue cheese. It was still raw inside. He brought us extra fries, but by the time it came back I was done eating. She asked for it to go and it was STILL RAW. She had cut it, so it was super obvious if you looked. The manager came and talked to us and they took it off the bill, but for a $40 filet mignon it should not take 3 tries to cook it right and it still not really be right. She said there are cold spots on the grill and they're training a new line cook, but it was not a good look... I'd maybe give more of a pass if they were packed, but there was no one eating inside and maybe two other tables of folks outside.

The garlic cheese grits were so yummy. Loved my selection! It was beyond my expectations. They are certainly on my list as a must visit when I go to Chattanooga.

The views you get to enjoy from your dining table are hard to match unless you are at a ski resort or other mountaintop establishment. Rock City is on Lookout Mountain so as far as I know this might be the only place in the world where you can look out over 7 states as you eat and drink so that is worthy of having a beer and some food at this establishment at least once in your life.
