    Partially eaten steak and eggs

Stopped in for breakfast and was impressed with how modern and comfortable the atmosphere felt. I ordered the steak and eggs with chimichurri, ordering the steak medium rare and the eggs scrambled. The eggs and the potatoes were delicious, both perfectly cooked. The steak I did eat most of; however, it was definitely very rare vs a medium rare. It did have good flavor due to the sear and the chimichurri it came with, but without that, I would have had to send it back for being undercooked. I had to wait over ten minutes after finishing my food for someone to come and bring the check; there was maybe 5 other parties sat at the time. Overall, it was okay, but I did expect a bit more from such a high end hotel restaurant.

Wine flight at jazz night for $10

Have lived here for my whole life and hadn't discovered this place yet. We went for wine and jazz Friday. The ambience was good, just wish they had removed a few tables and had the band set up Closer to where people were seated. It felt a bit removed from things so not the best arrangement. But the musicians were great & staff was friendly. The wines on the flights were not particularly outstanding but for $10 for a flight of 3, was as expected. I'd pay a little more for better quality wine. I would like to come for a meal sometime and see how that is, if the food matches the ambience then they will have something very good going on here!

Great food and convenient location inside the Chattanoogan. We had dinner and breakfast at The Forge.

Since it was our first visit and everything on the menu spoke to us, she helped steer us in the right direction. I ended up ordering the pistachio croissant, and honestly... I'd go back for that alone. It was warm, huge by croissant standards, and absolutely heavenly. I even grabbed another one to take home because Future Me deserved a little happiness too. We also tried the raspberry lemon danish, which was a delicious combo, but the pistachio croissant stole the show without breaking a sweat. We started with the poutine, and while it wasn't the traditional version I've had before, it was incredible. Instead of cheese curds blocks, it came with pulled pork and melted cheese, and somehow it just worked. Comfort food with a little Southern flair. For breakfast, we had the ham and cheese omelet with breakfast potatoes. It was exactly what you want it to be--classic, satisfying, and impossible to regret if that's your usual order. I also tried the Liquid Gold juice. Their juice selection is impressive, but I may have accidentally found my forever order on the first try. It was so refreshing, with just a hint of ginger. For a hot drink, I highly recommend the London fog. I'm not usually a tea fan but if you don't want coffee, this is an excellent option. Before we left, we picked up some of their salted caramels to go, and they make the perfect little gift... assuming you have enough self-control not to eat them all in the car. The vibe here is upscale southern diner. One of the signs on the wall said, "All are welcome, but you need to act right," and honestly, that's the kind of life advice we could all use. I also really appreciated that parking was free. In Chattanooga these days it's hard finding a place where you don't have to scan a QR code, download an app, and pay to park just to eat. Great food, great atmosphere, great service. Milk & Honey is absolutely worth a visit...and if you're debating the pistachio croissant, stop debating and just order it. Your only regret will be not getting a second one.

We spent some time outside before being seated, but the food and service made it worth it. I stayed in my carrier throughout the meal and was able to join my humans indoors. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and never made us feel out of place. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was lively, and the service was attentive even though the restaurant was busy. Now for the most important part of this review. While enjoying brunch, I witnessed something I never expected to see: a baby goat riding around the restaurant in a pet stroller. At that moment, I realized Chattanooga may be one of the most pet-friendly places I've ever visited. Between the great food, kind staff, and unforgettable people-watching opportunities, Milk & Honey ended up being one of our favorite brunch stops of the trip. Dogba's verdict: Excellent brunch, friendly service, comfortable carrier dining, and unexpected goat encounters. Five paws !

While you can order the typical breakfast fare, my recommendation is you take full advantage of the creative offerings, that which makes this a popular spot for the locals. While there is more eating space than you realize, it is easy to assume the restaurant is too crowded, based upon the limited parking area. Don't make that mistake. The service is expedited by placing your order at the counter and the staff delivers it to your table as soon as it is ready. I had their breakfast sandwich with lox and my daughter their breakfast nachos, both were absolutely delicious! My only complaint was my vanilla latte was a little too sweet, something that is very correctable. It's a cute spot, with dining space both inside and out. It's well worth the visit and if you're too late, hit the burger bar next door.

There is outdoor seating for dogs, though it's not heated, so keep that in mind if you're visiting during colder weather. We were able to sit indoors with me tucked comfortably in my carrier, which made this a perfect stop on a chilly Chattanooga morning. The ordering process is a little different from a traditional restaurant. You order at the counter, grab a seat, and the staff brings everything out when it's ready. It feels more relaxed and efficient than a full-service brunch spot. The food was excellent, but the real stars were the coffee and biscuits. My humans were very happy with both, and I spent most of the meal supervising from my carrier and making sure nobody dropped any crumbs. While there isn't a dog menu, the atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, and I never felt out of place. Dogba's verdict: Great coffee, excellent biscuits, carrier-friendly indoor seating, and the perfect place to start a day of Chattanooga adventure.

Dogs aren't allowed inside unless they're service animals, but honestly, the outdoor space is where you want to be anyway. The patio is huge, with covered sections and outdoor heaters that kept us comfortable even when the weather turned rainy. We visited on a wet day and never felt like we were settling for "the dog section." The food was consistently excellent, and the happy hour menu made it an easy choice for a casual meal or drinks. My humans were happy with their food, and I was thrilled when they ordered me a side of chicken. It disappeared almost immediately, which I consider the highest possible review. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between lively and relaxed. There is plenty of room to spread out, and the outdoor space feels welcoming rather than crowded. Dogba's verdict: Great food, a fantastic patio, weather-proof outdoor seating, and chicken that disappeared faster than anyone expects
