Amazing food, very delicious and great service. My favorite breakfast option is the avocado toast!

I have never had a bad experience here. The only thing I could say even somewhat bad about this place is that I wish they had a bigger location and outdoor seating, because Chattanooga loves this place! It seems to always be slammed and is so hard to get into for breakfast on the weekends. Almost every time we have gone, it has been at least a 2 hr wait. The food is SO fresh and always incredible. They have a unique menu compared to most breakfast spots, and it's nice to see a variety for breakfast for a change. I appreciate so much that there are dairy free options for creamer in my coffee. My last visit I had coconut, and this visit I tried oat milk since they were out. It was delicious! The seasoned potatoes are a fantastic option for a side, and the berry compote on the French toast is something you will crave for weeks. read more

First Watch can get extremely busy, but it's usually worth the wait. I like that they have healthy options, and my favorites are the Tri-Athlete, the Power Breakfast Quinoa Bowl, and the A.M Superfood Bowl. read more

This has become one of my favorite breakfast places in Chattanooga! We've come here 3 times and the service is great and the food is amazing! I like to order the trifecta, which had 2 eggs, bacon, and a your choice of pancakes and waffles. I order my eggs over easy, with crispy bacon, a side of toast, and I tried the banana pancakes today. Everything tasted amazing and the coffee here is also good. The portion of the food is also great and it fills you up. My family and I love coming here and can't wait to come back. I have been going to this place for a while, since it was the Egg and I. I love how fresh the food is and the service is impeccable. They know us by name and always take time to chat, see who everyone is doing. If they we're open later I would go here more often, as I usually have breakfast food cravings at night but we still try to go often. This place is great all around. The staff waits for your entry and greets you as you enter. There is zero wait time. Once you are seated the waitress was prompt in taking drink orders, hint: coffee is expensive here. I went with the traditional Diet Coke. Before you blast it try it. The food was shortly delivered and tasted fantastic. I got the huge banana crunch granola pancakes. Suggestion: Order a single pancake unless you have other party guests and can share your plate with them. It was made even better with the hot syrup that was delivered with it. Had the Short Ribs special, it was more like loaded potatoes. The meat was more like a sprinkle and the mushroom was probably two small button varieties. The coffee somehow tastes different than a few months back, tasted diluted but extra acidic. Nothing stood out, portion was small and bland tasting. Will not return ever again. read more

I've been to several locations of First Watch (Lebanon, TN; Atlanta, GA; Chattanooga, TN) and this location was pretty subpar compared. The whole experience was just very dull. My potatoes were hard and overcooked and dry (and strangely not very seasoned. Do people in Chattanooga not like seasonings?) and the English muffin under my eggs Benedict was over-toasted. The Sunrise Sunset juice was good, but the coffee was pretty mild and uneventful. I won't return to this location, especially since I've had fantastic experiences at First Watch in other areas; I know what they CAN be. This is not it. read more

First Watch was an unexpectedly good breakfast. It was nice to be greeted with smiles and "good morning"s as soon as we walked in the door. I had the meal with eggs, waffle, and bacon. Have to say this is the only time my" over-medium well" eggs were properly cooked. (see my photo) Watch out for the coffee. You get a whole pot, but at $2.50 per person, it's a bit pricey imo, especially for the average quality and packaged (not fresh) creamer. read more

I have eaten here several times and have been very happy with the experience. However, today my meal just sucked. I ordered the eggs benedict with the ham and some potatoes. Worst eggs benedict I ever tasted. the poached eggs were hard boiled; the hollandaise sauce was cool and tasteless and stingy; the ham they used was sliced thin for a sandwich, not a nice piece of breakfast ham; the potatoes were not hot or done. I ate everything because I was hungry and we didn't have time to return anything. But I was very disappointed. read more

Good breakfast choices. Juices was ok, not worth the cost though. I had the purple haze. Food was hot and fast. Waitress was attentive and friendly. I had a biscuit and gravy. And a banana crunch pancake. Both were outstanding. Being from the south, gravy was not what I am used to but very very tasty. Almost seemed like a chicken type gravy. I loved it. Last two experiences have not been good. Recently the waitstaff seems to be different. Waiter/cook brought my family food and had his fingers in my food as he brought it. Waitress did not ask how we liked everything, but did ask if needed anything more. Waitress got my moms order completely wrong, but did offer to remove it from the check... however the cashier did not remove the charge. I asked for poached eggs which were brought to me with completely solid egg yokes. Overall disappointed with the level of attention and care from the front of the house and the back of the house. I honestly could just stay home and probably will. The only thing I'd come back for is the coffee. read more

Hands down the best French toast in this neck of the woods. Its delicate but tasty, Sweet and delicious. Since my first visit here i have been hooked and been returning at least once a week. The magic is in the breakfast and brunch selections. You can see the quality of the food in everything.... from the coffee, to the orange juice to the simple toppings such as the butter, you get to experience its elegance and purity of each of the ingredients that construct the dish. I can sit here and focus on just one dish but after trying over 10 things on the menu I can actually say that everything is wonderfully constructed served and deliciously put together. read more

Okay. Wow. What a great little spot for brunch or breakfast. I often find myself here on a Sunday morning, getting a healthy start for the day. Each dish is described in the caption of the photo. The workers are always friendly and helpful. This place does get quite popular due to its good tastes, healthy foods, and smaller atmosphere. They opened up more of them in the surrounding area, which is very nice. They also accommodate pretty well to vegans, but the options are very limited. One of my favorite breakfast/brunch places. I haven't had anything I didn't like. They tons of vegetarian options and they are all delicious! I personally love the veggie eggs Benedict. They also have a veggie skillet that is delicious. First Watch also offers seasonal specials such as a truffles wild mushroom fritada (basically an omelette) and pumpkin spiced pancakes. This place is super popular so expect to wait for a bit on a Sunday morning. However, if you go on a Tuesday you should be able to get a table pretty quick. On my most recent visit, I got the Truffled Wild Mushroom Fritada. Everything was delicious, but it had wayyyyy to much arugula for my taste. Definitely worth a try though. Also I tried their fresh squeezed morning meditation juice and it was good. They definitely have the presentation of that juice down. I saw it and immediately said I wanted it. It's definitely more of a healthy tasting juice if you know what I mean. Anyway, this place is delicious and everyone should give it a try. read more

I used to go their once a week until their prices drove me away. I was charged $1.60 to add cheese onto one egg for a kids meal. I mean are you kidding me? $1.60 for a half a piece of cheese? This is just ridiculous. Nickle and diming your customers to death is a quick way to lose business. So here I am posting a review on how I will not return because I do not like being nickel and dimed to death. Average meal price for 2 kids meals and 2 adult meals is around $50 - $60 at this place after drinks and a tip. I was alright with paying this when the prices were up front but when they start tapping on a dollar here and a dollar there for stupid little things like chz on the kids meal single egg, then I think its time to look at an alternative option. read more

This is place worth looking for when the hungries attack. It's a small place that could easily be passed by if you're not looking for it. It's a super clean, nicely but sparsely decorated restaurant. My waitress was a delight and answered my questions about the selections fully and cheerfully. I had "The Works" omelette with a side of "Million Dollar" bacon. Getting excited so...HOLY CRAP it was delicious! The eggs were packed full of sausagey goodness, with perfectly cooked mushrooms onions, and other delights. The bacon was crispy, and sticky, and gooey, and spicy! Substituted some seasoned potatoes in place of greens cause it's potatoes...so come on! Mmmm, thars some good eat'n!!! My only caveat here is be prepared to wait on the delivery of your food, but since it's 100 percent scratch made and farm to table, that will be forgiven. This place was booming when we pulled up! They have a private parking lot but it was tough finding a spot on a Sunday morning around 10 am. When we got inside the place was completely packed - luckily I had saved my spot in line earlier with the Yelp app and was shown almost immediately to a table ~ talk about feeling like a superstar. Heh. I loved the Rustic sort of look of the place ~ all of the wooden beams definitely added to the experience. We had a wonderful waitress and experienced excellent customer service. I saw the manager personally apologize to another table for their 20+ minute wait and offered them free drinks. He was incredibly polite and genuine - a trend I noticed with all of the stuff here. I ordered two of the three juices on the menu and they pleasantly surprised my taste buds. They were packed full of flavor, that's for sure. But the flavors, though Bold, we're very well-balanced and absolutely delicious. Thinking about it makes my mouth water. My mom and I couldn't decide what order so we got three dishes instead of two ~ the lemon ricotta pancakes, the market hash, and the avocado toast. And boy were we shocked. Everything was so flavorful and fresh ~ I didn't put any ketchup on my market hash because the goat cheese and spices they used on the potatoes added the perfect amount of flavor. I didn't even put syrup on the pancakes - something I can honestly say I have never done before - they were THAT good! And the avocado toast was clearly made of fresh avocados ~ the good kind that's not over or under ripe. My market hash came with the side of fresh seasonal fruits which were also ripe and extremely delicious - something you can't honestly say for a lot of places who serve fruit on the side. I absolutely adored this place and would give it a hundred Stars if I could. This is definitely is not $$ kind of place to eat. Kudos to the floor staff for keeping everything running so well given how many customers were there. I did really like the fact we could use Yelp to see how many parties were a head of us in the wait list. We could sit in our car and wait out our time until we were close to being called. I gave a low rating because all of our eggs were very dry... I've only been once and don't really plan on returning so I won't know if this was an anomaly or just how it is. If I spend $60 dollars for three for breakfast in Chattanooga I expect it be incredible. To end on a positive note, I was very happy that my orange juice had some pulp in it... Based on the food alone, First Watch at all locations would get a 4 from me. Rarely have I had a single misstep with my meal, and I love the menu. What brings them to 5 stars for this location is how they handled a minor misstep on my most recent order-to-go. When I got home with our food, we were missing two parts of their Trifecta, which I had ordered for the kids. We still had the huge chocolate chip pancake, so the kids were good, but I called the restaurant to let them know anyway, expecting that I would get a partial refund. They went well above and beyond that and even sent a handwritten note of apology with a gift card to our address. Thank you to the management who made that unnecessary but generous choice. Decided to try First Watch for lunch based on the good reviews. Service was quick and our waitress was friendly. I ordered The Traditional and my fiancé ordered the Tri-fecta with French toast. I personally have never gone inside to eat, but I order through Uber eats all the time. I give them 5 stars due to their wonderful food. The fruit is always fresh. When I order a sunrise granola bowl, it's loaded with fresh fruit and granola. When I go to Chick-fil-A, albeit it's like 3$ less, but their yogurt has like 2 slices of strawberry and 3 blue berries and one small pack of granola and they don't even fill it up.
